COPPER IS 95% AS CONDUCTIVE AS SILVER WHILE COSTING 263X LESS, YOU CAN HAVE THE SAME CONDUCTIVITY BY USING 5% MORE COPPER.

>>61758145
This? >>61757892 LMAO fucking retard, the smaller you go the MORE conductive things become because resistance drops. Infact too much conductivity becomes a problem at current litography processes scales because of quantum tunneling. Silver is not some magic metal, it's a semi precious slightly better conductor than copper, it's also not magically antimicrobial, it needs UV light and copper does the exact same thing.

I have an actual engineering degree, it's called fucking ohms law V= IR, conductivity is inverse of resistance, if you got too much resistance then you lower it by adding more metal. They literally do this on circuit boards by pooling molten solder on traces meant to take high power so they don't have to use boards with thick copper.

Jesus fuck he's not talking about metal layers in ICs, he's talking about the substrate which needs good thermal performance and even more conductivity to keep electromagnetic leakage to other electronics at bay. Also any node not measured in nm is a joke and Moore's law is a meme.

Sorry if these are dumb questions, but I never posted on biz. A few years ago (around 2017/2018) I bought 38oz of silver, and I remember that I bought the stuff that had the lowest premium (maples, philarmonics and eagles) and at the time it couldn't have been more than 4-5€ above spot.
Now with this massive price spike I'm seeing premiums that are like 66€ over spot. Is this normal? I'm not planning on buying now that the price of silver is high, but is this something that changed recently or what?

one thing, the price manipulation effort continues

second thing, refiners and everything upstream of refiners, are log jammed. they can only process so much, so fast.
two major US refiners just announced they were not taking any more metal for a time.

this means for many dealers (LCSs) alot of their inventory they bought form retail seller is log jammed. and they're tapped out financially until they can move/sell product.

it's pretty simple really

I too have an electrical engineering degree, and you know what happens when you increase the size of traces between layers on a board, you create fucking capacitors.
You know what happens when you increase the size of the terminals on a transistor? You create fucking capacitors.
You know what capacitors do, they smooth the transition of voltage levels.
All your 1s and 0s become 0.78s and 0.15s at that point and slow way the fuck down due to increased rise time.
You are literally creating a filters that cause the data in your electronics to become unusable when you slap big fat copper traces or terminals everywhere. The only time fat traces are used is when you are powering something like a motor, but even then its cordoned off with what basically amounts to faraday cages way away from any data due to parasitic capacitance. if there is demand why is the price dropping
I literally wanted to drop 10k on silver for the dip, but all of my shops are either not selling, sold out, or have a single limited order for 10oz max. The shop that is selling limited orders still has silver priced at 100 or slightly above

what kind of jew magic did they do to the fiat price of silver on the market? was this the jew-tampowitz spirit bomb? can they even create another drop like this for gold and silver?

>>

Yes and how much silver is used to make the substrate on your chip? How many chips can you make with 1Oz of silver?

These retards here believe they use fucking silver like it's roofing lead to make electronics. The price runup is from bugs in china stacking it all, the industrial demand for silver for use in chips barely does shit to the price. Half the demand is from silverware, solder and stacking, all of which goes away when the price gets too high.

for all of the mentally ill retards and the indians who keep asking the same stupid question over and over again

>why price down but buying??

major banks dumped silver yesterday to protect european bank shorts on paper silver. our western banks sold the equivalent of 1.5 billion ozt to china yesterday, to try and desperately not lose fiat. The price will come back up slowly next week. There will be another big pull back before march since there are tons of us banks that have shorted silver before the 20th

they are going to give china all of our precious metals, just so they can keep a worthless stack of paper.

demand is high because real mofos like me know this is a temporary dip and are buying like fucking crazy. after march the cats out of the bag. I just hope we stay this low for another week or two because I'm planning on dumping at least 2/3rds of my tax return in more silver

And one thing that always worried me was if my device was built and assembled in a correct way to not interfere with digital signals between the sensor and the PLC / display unit.

My thought was that I could have EMF from nearby devices like power sources and magnetic fields that could be interfering with signal flow coming from the sensors.

I was building from scratch with generic /diy/ materials and off the shelf discreet components no special knowledge or in-depth understanding of isolation or shielding.

Remember, kings. The paid India shill, IQ Dalit, is probably a bot who has been shitting on PMs incessantly for years to prevent people from stacking specifically because of what is unfolding as we speak.
One thing he hates is when people post pics of stacks because the power of seeing wealth with your own eyes is a powerful sight that reveals the inherent danger of storing it at a bank.
One thing that really got him riled up was when someone stated he cashed in his 401k for silver (and made a killing at $60 just before this runup). Cashing in your credit for physical commodities is EXACTLY the behavior that will cause hyperinflation. Precious metals are how you take a seat before the music stops.

if there is demand why is the price dropping
I literally wanted to sell 400 ounces, but all of my shops are either not buying, closed, or have a limited buy order for 10oz max. The shop that is buying limited orders still has silver priced at $52 or slightly above

what kind of meme magic did they do to the fiat price of silver on the market? was this the china-tampochang spirit bomb? can they even create another drop like this for silver before i find a buyer?
>>

They are building buildings the size of manhattan (and no they arent LOL they're bankrupt) with computers that have chips that are a couple CM^2 in surface area with a layer of silver that is a few atoms thick. Nothing that comes even close to the demand from people who hoard the metal.

Great post. To add to it, we should all be concerned that our financial system is in such dire straits that they can't even afford to revalue metals to correct the supply issue. These banks, government, and insurance co and Wallstreet are all helplessly bankrupt and basically everyone needs to be mentally prepared to eat 80-90% losses of EVERYTHING propped up by credit.
Normally a ponzi will buckle under its own weight. But having the money printer allows us to endlessly double and triple down with more and more fiat dollary-doos. And every time they kick the can on silver the problem gets worse and worse. They steal more and more of your value even if you don't feel it directly.

it works really good with a precise measuring scale. It gets more difficult the smaller the piece is, where for example dipping it, pulling it out and then dipping it again while it's still wet as the readings will be skewed then from the water on the surface of the jewlry or coin or whatever. use a very thin sewing thread. lead and silver are very close, as are tungsten and gold

the market is breaking and nobody knows what is happening.
If a small business makes the wrong move right now it could bankrupt them. Everyone is going to take a moment to see what happens next. You should do the same.
If you've been in the market for a while, you would know this is nothing and it wouldnt affect you.
If you only got in recently you should stop spazzing out. Physical silver isn't a quick flip.

If you are doing hobby electronics and are doing anything with high frequency data, get off a bread board, each little hole in the breadboard becomes a little capacitor because of the alligator clips inside it and all your data will get filtered. They can also act like antennas and capture EMF. Get a nice soldering station(metcal has some nice sub 300 dollar stations) and some perfboards if you want to make anything complex that lasts at home.

Also with 3D printers becoming so widespread, table top PCB milling machines are coming down in price, so thats an option too.

This isn't very good advice. The GSR is the most important indicator people should look at given that we know there are supply issues. We know the historical ratio (15:1) and we also know the mining ratio (8:1). When today's GSR is 50:1 people should only be buying silver from a fundamental & trading perspective. The long term trend will have to see the GSR gap tighten.
The GSR is also the best way to think about your wealth in real terms and not nominal terms. At the end of the day, I want more WEIGHT of metal. The GSR will help you do that. You want to buy 50:1 silver and when the ratio dips to 10:1 you will find yourself with 5 times more gold than if you bought gold.
The key is patience and to understand that the GSR at 100:1 was a gift from god for anyone who owned gold.

let me add the following, junk silver is best investment. you can get it usually below spot for it's silver content. the lower the silver, like 625 or 500 the better since you get the remaining metal, mostly copper for free. it tends to get faked less and if it were there are more severe punishments for making fake coinage than none constitutinal or what it's called rounds. You can fill your treasure chest faster with junk silver

That was true under the dollar system which is now overly saturated with debt. I think a flight to safety from stocks and bonds into metals will be quite abrupt catalyst which will force real price discovery to occur. It is actually believed that there may have more gold above ground than silver given that the digital economy we live in needs so much of it, often in microscopic applications that make it difficult and costly to recover. I unironically hold it in high esteem that the correction for silver has a very real possibility of inverting the GSR if they can't get the market cap of gold high enough to accomodate humanity's savings needs. Industry will have to outbid investors and there is a practical problem where industry's production might become unaffordable. All due to the scarcity of silver being so inconvenient to an economic system predicated on endless growth and unlimited resources. There will be a lot of problems for the global economy and they may never find a lasting solution.
>>61758508

>>61758511

It's like being in a bar and seeing a fire and opting to head for the door instead of filming. 100:1 was obscene and I think it'll make the history books written decades from now.

Spot is wholesale price. Spot plus premium is retail. Retail business can't predict short-term volatility so they compensate on the high side of premiums. Market competition keeps them from going too high. Essentially, spot plus premium is the retail market price for metals and it responds to retail supply and demand, while spot responds to industrial demand, international arbitrage, and banking shenanigans.
>>
>>61758560
My plan is to watch interest rates and the bond market and the dollar. If I am employed and have no need to sell, I plan to just sit tight and trust the trade that the GSR will tighten. I think the industrial needs paired with money needs all vying for the same scarce resources is going to be extremely silly. As I said, I think it is our normalcy bias that we assume silver has to be cheaper than gold, and I think the reality of the situation will exceed our expectations.
>>61758609
They probably tried to short endless amounts of paper silver products to slam the price down. I don't actually follow these details close enough to know exactly how it is done, but I imagine they are scaling trades in such a way that only the short side of the future are impacting the price and they can manipulate the price lower through some collusion. In the stock market on GME, all buy orders are routed through dark pools and sell orders hit the lit market to drive the price down. It's a scam and the definitely have the tools and the approval by regulators to do it.

I was out drinking yesterday and only now checked the market.
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?
seriously, what sorcery did happen for silver to loose one third of its value in an instant?
>>
Does anyone know whats happening with PMs in china? Will they continue to buy or did they panic sold? The price also crashed there, from 138 to 122

In the book "When money dies", people who thought they were experiencing unprecedented wealth were selling everything they owned for fiat and they realized all too late that they were essentially giving their everything away for free. It is interesting how the society was experiencing the economic pressures differently. Some people were experiencing obscene wealth in the stock market while clerical workers and government bureaucrats were struggling just to survive as their incomes never increased. Eventually the shelves run bare and even those who were ontop of the world found their fiat bought nothing. People would get paid and walk into stores just to buy ANYTHING that happened to be for sale. Even things you didn't need were better than your fiat. One example they used was a 23 year old bachelor going into an empty store and buying swaddling baby clothes he didn't even need because his money would buy even less by the time they had anything for sale.
Now, the issues plaguing Weimar were caused by Germany needing to sell their Marks to buy Francs as apart of the Versailles reparations agreement. We might not have runaway inflation like that so long as the shelves can stay full of things to buy. But make no mistake about it, the amount of fiat-dollary-doos is exponentially dwarfing the real economy. If the debts all get written off there is no currency destruction in the economy and the we'll be well on the way to impoverishment if not hyperinflation.

I'm considering dumping the rest of my fiat into gold, gold is literally still available everywhere, i don't know, i just want more silver , i already have enough gold

That's dumb, things like those are what thieves check first. My place has been broken into, they missed the silver in my sock drawer because my drawer is one of those see through storage units and they missed the major silver bars left above cabinets. Put your silver in a non descript sack and store it somewhere where people don't keep valuables.

Banks are flailing just to stay afloat. The price action here did nothing to fix anything and the price will be going higher in the long term. Even if the banks try to spoof the price downwards a bit more, this is nothing more than a buying opportunity for everyone who was frantically showing up to buy at $110+.
The entire thesis around silver is that the real-world supply is what matters and the market is suppressed via silver proxies. There is nothing to worry about unless you are stupid enough to be involved in some sort of leveraged silver investment. History has already shown us what happened to the Hunt brothers who invested in silver futures. They just turned the buy-button off so they ONLY thing you could do is sell. Naturally the price can only go down when they do that. The trick has always been to get your hands on as much as you can and still responsibly manage your life's financial needs. The banks flailing is meaningless when I am not exposed to their credit. They will have to capitulate at some point, otherwise the vaults run dry and all the silver in the world will flow into China's hands.

Update on the LCS visit.
Extremely busy, sign on the door says they are not buying gold or silver, spoke with the owner, and he says, they're just waiting of millions of dollars. And wire transfers to go through so that they can begin buying again. So the problem just seems like demand not that nobody wants the item.

I was able to trade (2)1/10 gold rounds
For
3 Morgan
3 Peace dollars
1 ngc 69 Silver eagle
Plus $450 fiat

I experienced this once, as a kid.
I was at an international camp with the boyscouts (just scouts, really - both genders), and we were given fake money to barter with for the duration of the camp.
>Everyone given 10 camp bucks each
>Everyone dividing into teams, setting up various stalls
>Some had games, where you could gamble with camp bucks
>Some sold food and nicknacks
>Some sold services, like helping out with tents or painting temporary tattoos
>I just went and gambled half my money
>Doubled it
>Went around and played games and ate chocolate pancakes
>And then evening came
>Everyone who had been running stalls began oacking up
>Then they ventured out to spend their hard-earned cash...
>100 camp bucks couldn't buy you a high five
Still recall the confused fluoride stares I got when I tried to explain how it was inevitable

All paper currency is created when it's loaned out into existence and it's destroyed when the debt is paid back.
The fact interest is additionally charged when it's created means the debt cannot even be paid off because the debt is always going to be higher than the currency that exists.
The system must always have someone take in new debt in order to propagate. Otherwise, it results in a deflationary spiral. A deflationary spiral affects them too, but they can always print for themselves so they stay afloat while you are drowning in debt and never be able to pay it back, unless you go bankrupt and hand over all real assets.
The system is stable at the beginning because it promises a 1:1 backing with physical precious metals when is then broken.
