Something weird is going on. Yesterday I tried discussing when to buy silver, and someone in the discord said that markets were closed until Monday?? >>61761737(((they)))Some of the jewtuber boomers I watch bring this up too. Gold is "safe" Gold is "stable" Gold is "real money" Gold is x. Maybe they're just too old and burnt out on these silver swings, I kinda get it, but then it's also:Silver is too volatile, pls sell ur silbers to J(ew)M(uff)Bullion, they really needs your business!I love both metals, but luckily I followed a 1:50 ratio for my stack. Wise move so far.
>>61761753If you are in this for the quick buck, this is not your place. Just go to the stock market and pick some new shitcoins or whatever.
>>61761737Silver always has more upside. If gold recovers quickly and silver doesn't, there will probably be a zillion hitpieces about the devil's metal and why gold is better because it's less volatile. However, in all In all PM runs silver absolutely outperforms gold, and if shortages are real it will do so by a large margin.
>>61761762I boughted my first oz of gold at 200oz silver. I should probably add more (got now 1,3oz of gold) but i am priced out for now, and gold is going to be expensive af. Maybe we get to have some sales on chinese new year.

>>61761510Amen. Praise Our Lord Jesus!
>>61761752The dumber institutional investors, upon not seeing any immediate massive recovery pump after Friday's gigatamp, will proceed to sell everything under the assumption that the bubble has burst.
I hope it fucking dumps tomorrow night but based on Shanghai prices I doubt it. Probably back to 120 in a few days. I just want more cheapies
Look I told you this when it was rising too fast and ppl were yapping about it's going to 500, 1/1sg ratio. Silver is "volatile".I collect mostly gold and if it tomorrow dropped by 75% to 1000, do you think id feel shit? I'd love it because I can now buy so much more;DSeeing as silver isn't just as good but as many have said superior to gold, you should want it drop to 10 usd;)If not you're just a little jew who doesn't stand by their convictions.I just bought 2oz silver at 90 usd, because I like it, trust it,and want it. Enjoy:)
>>61761777Amen. Praise these trips Lord Jesus!
>>61761779ExactlyBut at the same time, all the industries will be hoarding as much as possible, both because of th elower price point, but also because of silver's sudden volatility. They basically have to stack up for years worth of production to protect their own output. The question is just who is the larger actor in this muddy market?
God I miss cheapies, Tampowitz please strike us down to 30.
>>61761774You are not accounting for premiums on the physical market. That's one factor you missed in your equation there. Also, don't trade paper claims to any of this, that's a sure fire way to get jewed. You should also know that, as recent events have shown, the paper value of these commodities have nothing to do with their actual value.
>>61761782Basically this.
>>61761783>>61761757>>61761733henlo fren, I remember you! Hope you're doing well.
>>61761774Yes, but most dealers might give you a bit of a haircut when selling. Expect something like 950€ for every 1000€ worth of Gold you sell maybe worse if the market is especially volatile.
>>61761795I hope you're doing well too fren:)

>>61761829Ooh, that monkey is cool
>>61761815Listen, it would be nice to have an aim in mind so you know when shit is close to your target, but many of us plan to never sell. I’ve spent the last 8 months in here probably 8 hours a day and it’s really fucked my brain up. What do I have to show for it? About 10 ounces of gold and 400 ounces of silver. I’m heavily in profit, but I think I over did it on allocating too much of our HYSA (for downpayment this year in fall or winter). Honestly thinking of cashing out my paper miners and contemplating buying sooner if we can get a mortgage approval in time. Anyway, I feel like we could see a window where people are basically giving away shit to keep their house. hyperinflation is the plan to get the goyim on digital, but do other anons think we see this?I just wanna fucking sleep bros. Got two white children 2 and under and never had more cash in the bank cause we wanna buy a house. It’s a sticky situation. Wwyd
>>61762059personally i wouldn't believe a word you said. but thats just me

Will we get an opportunity to slurp? Or are banks just going to repossess them all and never let the white man buy a fucking house without jewsery. And then hyperinflation, these people obviously won’t be able to avoid the respective increases in electricity, property taxes and homeowners insurance. I don’t see them letting people just keep their houses, right? Even if the rate is 2.5%.>>61762059>I just wanna fucking sleep bros. Got two white children 2 and under and never had more cash in the bank cause we wanna buy a house. It’s a sticky situation. WwydDon't let your homebuyer fever turn your modest win with some PMs into a buck breaking lifelong mistake.Check out some Melody Wright videos. Housing in the USA is still 40% overpriced. WHO do you think will be able to buy boomer homes when they croak? Boomers are the cohort that has over 80% of the middle class wealth, and since they cannot take it all when they die, they're going to do everything they can to spend every penny they can before pushing up daisies. After their done their cruises, medical and nursing home expenses will drain their estates to where someone has to pay for their funeral. The reverse mortgage company will often get their house. In other cases, there's a HELOC (for paying for cruises) and the estate gets split between several parties. There will be very little relative wealth transfer from boomers to the next generation, so HOW will home prices be kept high? You should have noticed by now that rents are lower than mortgages. + HOA + property taxes. Ie, landlords are LOSING money every month. Why? Because rent is charging what the market will bear, and people do not have the income to cover rent levels equivalent to the mortgage on that rental property. Real estate is one of the things that will crash during this recession that we are already in. The problem is, they are almost out of silver AND gold AND fiat.So due to my personal experience as a business owner, futures trader, and physical collector, it seems like the situation is a temporary stalemate at the moment. Preparing reports that nobody reads, writing policies that almost nobody reads, endless emails to schedule meetings and to summarize previous meetings, telephone calls etc.Very little actual productive work gets done, other than suppressing female fertility and pumping up the egos of overpaid ladybosses so they can afford powersuits.AI will wipe out 95% of their jobs because they are useless in the first place.I, on the other hand work at installing data cabling and equipment in industrial settings. There will be no AI running a scissorlift and tie wrapping network cables to beams, etc. Same thing with plumbers, electrician, mechanic or any other hands on trade. >>61762831If you want to buy junk/ const. that’s uncirculated i cant say its worth the price imo. Thats why im buying things the premium is compressed on
>>61762854it's all so tiring...
>>61762808I’d buy the BU unless you’re at a coin shop and you can handpick the coins yourself. I’ve purchased average circulated stuff online before from places like monument and was pretty disappointed at how worn stuff was. If it’s only a dollar over spot I’d buy shitloads, since most places I’ve seen online are charging $5+ for beat up coins.
>>61762754>The shitty foil separates at the drop of a hat.You can't crumple it up and stuff it in your dirty jeans, you filthy hobo. One keeps Goldbacks in a proper wallet like a gentleman, should you ever choose to become one.
>>61762831I don't think that makes any sense really. If you want to maximize the amount of silver per junk coin, get cripple dimes or JFK halves since they had the least amount of use. You will have to sacrifice your pride though since they're soulless slop compared to mercs or walkers/franklins
>>61762854>madam Suck-etaryWas she good or just easy?
For that reason I have pretty much stopped buying junk online. If you’re planning on using it as legal tender then it probably won’t matter much so long as the years is clearly visible, if you’re stacking for weight then I’d go with the BU stuff. I have about 900 oz of junk silver and most of it is AU/BU, since I picked them myself from the bucket my LCS keeps them in and he doesn’t charge differently based on condition.
>>61762901>Was she good or just easy?
>>61762760>I agree. the feds are arguing the dollar though...Of course they will. States rights/secession is one of the future outcomes of Federal overreach. If States stopped using US dollars, it's over for the Federal Reserve and the entire cadre of DC parasites.Imagine if they had to pay Israel in gold.
>>61762910Nothing ever happens anon
>>61762539These are neat. I’ll probably grab some.
Does anyone have the silver stacker tier list. the one that starts that has the dragon, pirate apu etc?
>>61762695I’ve red the bills for several states with legal tender laws and that’s not how they interpret the law. Citizens for sound money does a lot of the legwork for most of the states coming online and they’re pretty adamant about pushing through stuff that actually makes practical sense.
any techfags here know how to get the silver price from the linux terminal? i tried wget on a couple of silver price sites but it seems they block non javascript http requests
>>61762810>1) It only being offered through 1 private dealer who may or may not be in TexasI presume you already knew that most high security banknotes are printed in a only a few countries, like Germany and Scottland. Ie,, most countries don't make their own banknotes anymore.>2) that they are charging double the price of gold for a plastic sleeve. It is normal to charge a fee over and above for the minting of money. It's called seigniorage. If Goldbacks were printed and issued at a loss, (ie for specie value only) you could bankrupt the company by buying up all their notes and recycling the gold. A mechanical denial of service attack. That fee becomes a permanent part of the value of the note. If you want your "premium" back, just spend the fucking note. You can even use Goldbacks to buy gold coins, and you get your full face value back. The https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SeigniorageYou don't have to use them. Go ahead and spend 1/10 gold Eagles. I'll help you get started by ordering a thousand gold plated tungsten Eagles from Ali Express. Did I mention that you can non-destructively verify a Goldback via XRF? I've personally done it. Picrel is what your coin will look like after testing.

Are we going to see another 8% drop Monday?I get buying is holding, but damn, if we drop again, I need to save money where ever possible. Trying to buy a few properties while retaining another $40K in the bank for emergency.
Which of is this AI talking about?
What do you guys think about owning crypto pegged to gold? Something like PAXG. Apparently if you meet the minimum amount you can redeem it for physical gold held by the company's vault. I can't own physical metals because I don't have access to good physical security, so I'm looking for alternatives.
