Hey /biz/, I'm beginning a long process of storing sugar for the future as an investment. I think the world is running out of energy, and processed sugar is energy in a form ready for human consumption. It can be stored for centuries, and it costs ~$1 per pound. This could be a way to get rich and save lives in the very distant futureThe current plan is to use 55 gallon open head steel oil drums55 gallon mylar bags (5 mil)55 gallon semi rigid drum liners (24 mil)lots of dessicant packetslots of white sugarthis could change as I figure out wtf im doing

>>61790375ray peat said sugar is good for you but nobody took him serious
wait wouldn't hodling Raw honey be smarter since the bees are dying off? and you get more money in less storage
rotting teeth general
>>61790513that would work too, but the storage seemed either more tedious or more expensive. storage in a plastic bucket requires checking in every few years, and rats can get through if they try.food grade stainless steel drums are 10x the price

>>61791570nice thanks, he hardened the sugar into bricks intentionally? lol
