Its sad being in your 30's and realizing at least one of your friends is going to be terminally broke. Just keep making money and building wealth. If you don't have at least 10k in the bank you shouldn't be smoking weed or playing video games, let alone doing both at the same time. Even then you should be looking for ways to make that 10k work for you. At least get a job that pays more than $20/hr and don't do anything else until you do

I Remember my cousin who always partied said he realized he fucked up when people in his friend group who would rent beach houses for the summer began buying beach houses and asked if he wanted to rent from them.
