I score very high in conscientiousness. The neuroticism test is basically useless, because it only tests internal emotions, which is completely useless when expressed outwardly. For example, you might be someone that's always stressed out, but if you have a strong control over your emotions and you're high in conscientiousness, people will think you're a stoic that's cold or robotic.My point is, you can be rich and miserable. You can be middle class and miserable. You can be poor and miserable. Some people are just always going to be ungrateful assholes no matter what they have. Some people are happy to just be alive and even enjoy working. Some people are like squirrels and save almost everything they make. Some people go into even deeper debt just because they get a 3% raise at work. Some people are high IQ and lazy or become addicts. Some people are high IQ and are workaholics.The money you make has almost nothing to do with your happiness. It's your genetics that determine most of it. And it's your genetics that generally determine your environment as an adult. So, if you're a low IQ, lazy, ungrateful person, prone to criminal behavior, you're likely to end up in the ghetto or a poor trailer park. It's not the environment that made you that way. You ended in that environment because of your genetic traits.

Being poor is a great way to become miserable. Having money generally solves a buttload of what might make you miserable. If your only goal with money is to spend it for an opulent display of wealth and a lavish lifestyle just for the sake of it you'll probably find that kind of vapid living is not really satisfying.If on the other hand you have passions and hobbies and interests then it's great to have money to pursue that.
