Gonna inherit 500k /biz/ should I just talk to a financial planner merchant or do something like drop 200k in the S&P as a safety net maybe 50k in bitcoin.

I am 30 and live alone in a paid off house. No real expenses but I would like to keep my lifestyle roughly the same.

All in etfs. Thats what did when I get about 400k. Or should have kek i have 70k in stocks. But mostly etf. I talked with a planner and the 1 percent fee adds up even tho I do think they offer a service which is basically keep you from freaking out and pulling the plug.

Just start investing in real estate, with 500k you could buy properties in cash or deal with a tiny mortgage. A property management company might charge you 8-12% monthly.

Put 200k into physical Gold asap
The banks and gov are trying to keep the price low to allow themselves to buy as much as possible at a relatively cheap price.

I don't think the people who can literally just print money are worried about having enough money to acquire gold.
>>
>>61826281
Every new dollar printed devalues every other dollar ever so slightly.
A gold bar bought for 166k might be able to sell for 500k+ in the future.

Buy 250k in GameStop and 250k in GameStop warrants

How ?
It's paper, it sits there and gathers dust, it has no biological properties.
If the owner of a tortilla factory takes a tortilla of the production line...

Money is printed by humans and the rules of money are applied by humans, it is that simple.

I understand economics, but it's a rulebook that is closed to those that wrote the rulebook.

the way he words it, that the government are trying to keep gold low so they can continue buying at a low price, as if they have to earn money, they print it, they just take it off the production line if they wish to.

And Zimbabwe did just that, and look what happened to them.

You don’t really understand how the mechanism works. Either way don’t buy physical gold, that’s retarded. If you want gold do gold spot on Fidelity or some shit.

The anon that mentioned real estate is your best bet. Buy yourself a home. Keep working and save up 50% of your cash for a couple years, buy yourself another home as a rental with your new cash reserve and rent it out. Now you have optionality. Real estate is the perfect hedge against inflation. Your money is safe and growing, it’s generating real cash flow, and you don’t have a mortgage. Every home you own is like one little nigger slave working at the gas station for you
