Guys im considering baristaFIRE.Anyone here done it?I live in japan, have about 650k USD of assets. I spend about 1300 USD a month.How bad is retail actually - im just looking to cover day to day expenses. Let the assets grow. Heck i might spend half the year in the US with my parents working retail there (way higher pay mommy makes tendies).Anything is better than this hell working 8 years here as a "professional". I'm a permanent resident but now i question why i even came here desu.I just want to take it easy in life ; ;
Yo legit question, what exactly is going to happen with japan's economy now that ldp is locked in?
Aren't they trying to introduce half time jobs?
>>61825260I assume you mean working as a Barista and saving every penny? Would depend where in the US. Just check out the minimum wage for the state you'd be living in. However I do get where you're coming from, I've researched the work culture in Japan and it really, really sucks. No way would I want to be a wagie there.Now if you don't mind I have a few questions1. Sounds like you're not Japanese, do they have you do overtime like all the others?2. Are you forced to go have drinks/eat dinner with your boss and coworkers?3. How much free time do you have on Mondays - Fridays4. How much sleep do you get Monday-Thursday nights?
