Hi everyone,I’d like to share my situation and maybe get some advice. I am a Russian citizen and lived in Ukraine for the 12 years before the full-scale war — those were the best years of my life. In Russia, I worked rotational shifts and earned a decent income. I invested some of my earnings in gold — now I have several 100-gram bars, as well as gold scrap. When the war in Ukraine started, I managed to move to Germany with my gold. I live here now and work, earning about €3,500 per month. I have financial stability, but life in Germany has become very tiring for me:the weather is constantly gloomy,I feel depressed, there’s an endless stream of bureaucratic paperwork.I started thinking about moving to warmer countries like Mexico, other parts of Latin America, or the Philippines. My main concern now is how to preserve my wealth during the move, especially the gold bars and scrap, without giving it to the government. The complication is that I have a certificate for only one bar; the other purchases were not fully documented because I had to leave Ukraine quickly during the war.So my goals are:Move from Germany to Mexico with minimal financial losses when transporting and converting gold.Obtain a residence permit in Mexico, and eventually permanent residency and citizenship.Do this as safely and legally as possible, considering the limited documentation for my gold.If anyone has experience or ideas about such moves, especially regarding safe transport of gold and finances, I would greatly appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance!
>>61829256Why didn't you stay and fight for your country, you pathetic coward?
which one? russia? since i am russian? or ukraine where i am from enemy camp? easy to judge when you are in safe contry.
>>61829256Hey bro good work on evading certain death while retaining your wealth. my family was exiled from eastern europe and all our wealth was confiscated about 200 years ago. Frankly I think your plan is excellent, but you're going to have to ditch those undocumented gold bars at some pawn shop and convert them into cash for your journey. Once you arrive with the pesos and confirm your citizenship then you can repurchase local gold. Yes you might lose some of your net worth during the transition but its a worth it for a life upgrade. One thing to keep in mind, Mexico won't exactly let you escape an endless stream of bureaucratic paperwork tho.
Melt your bars into golden dildos and hop on a plane. It will take a few trips but it is worth it. You are asking this on /biz/ what did you expect?
>>61829256If you fly thru any big modern airport with the newer 3D scanners they 100% will see your gold. They have machine learning algorithms and they automatically detect such things. You could liquidate then go to Monero held in a cold wallet backed up on and offline. Go to wherever then sell the Monero and convert to fiat. Many such options. You could also just turn the metals into Euros or even dollars and just declare it with customs. But as a criminally minded Russian you won't do that.
>>61829256ez, just move to Spaint. German living in Valencia
Uruguay seems to suit you better, its also cheaper and safer than Mexico. You are restricted to tourist/expat zones in Mexico, go to any southern state as a white man you WILL get your shit wrecked/stolen. Chile is also better but dyor.
>>61829256I'm unfamiliar with German laws do you require a certificate to own gold? In any case mexico has no such laws so really the only issue is if you get stopped on the way out and they think you're some kind of criminal but if you declare it then there shouldn't be an issue I hope. I would look more closely into this.
>>61829256REQ thread?
>>61829622He is some kind of criminal. You can carry a million dollars of gold with you oj a flight if you want, or a bunch of cash. Just declare it. Who is afraid to declare it? Criminals.
those who 43 YO and its all their money. too old to get rich again...

>>61829256if it was so great why didn't you fight for it
I don’t think Mexico is going to be checking your bags or anything but gay Germany might. Safest bet is to sell your gold locally for cash, buy a crypto currency that is legal to buy and sell both in Germany and Mexico, then sell said crypto for physical gold you buy locally in Mexico again. If no crypto is legal look into local Monero. This does leave the question of where your cash came from when you buy your crypto as Germany may want you to pay tax on any gain. Maybe your best bet is just declare it and bring it with you.
Mexican here you will be raped by customs and they will charge you a huge bribe to walk in best case scenario or steal your bars if you got no proper documentation worst case and charge you with some bogus bullshit related to drugs or money laundering.Once you're in mexico assuming you paid the bribe and made it with your bars if you want to cash out you'll have to use shady pawn shops and bazaars to sell your bars under the table for way bellow market value because that gold will be considered hot just as if you stole it. They'll pay you crackhead that just robbed his abuelita jewelry price so dollars on the gram.If you bring too much attention to yourself (a white man slinging gold around) you will be robbed or kidnapped.Mexico is not the paradise you're hoping for.Have fun ivan.
