If you were making 230k wfh, what would you do with your free time? I was thinking of building out a side biz, maybe something like digital marketing that can be done anywhere while I travel around. Ideally something to potentially diversify my income

i would larp on biz

Idk, just trade stocks or something.
Reality is, a wfh is still a job and a “do nothing” still feels like a job and when you have income from any job, youre less likely to look for other opportunities.
Its just psychology.

Tried this and lost a massive amount. Seems easier to just work and stack index funds. That's why I'm looking into side businesses to build out. Idk if a waste of time though. Looking for something that's easy money after the initial work or barrier of entry.

Is any job paying over $160k a job that requires more work?
If you are getting paid $265k, you are pretty high workload or skill or responsibilities or something.
Or are you the do 1 hour of work every day? But the work is important?

Either way that is a high salary regardless of in office or wfh and definitely requires some mental usage.

I do two fairly simple jobs. I'm pretty efficient at both so it's like 20 hours a week max with some navigating around meetings. I once worked something paying around 165k and it was a genuine 40-50 hours a week of work, so I figure two easy is better than one hard job. I also do this while traveling a lot. I'm just looking at other ways to make money. Nothing else might be as easy money for me though.

Find four more jobs that also require me to do nothing so I can make even more money

yeah, might just try to get another. I was just thinking of something without an employer since I want to be in asia and can't really do that without fucking up my sleep schedule as I need to be in a US timezone. My thought was something in the digital marketing space. For now just doing 2 week trips with PTO to Japan every year.
