Fact: RAMs are actually not hard to make, and the quality is a solid 90% behind the brand names. This is why I believe the big hardware techs are playing with fire with their manufactured scarcity so they can raise prices. They could of easily expand capacity by 100-300% in less than 6 months building factory lines to produce the needed RAMs. Now China sees an opportunity.
>>61831560need 128gb where can I get
>>61831560>The ai bubbleCope. 247€ for 2x16GB on Ali is still insanely high.
>>61831571that's 12x the manufacturing cost. let the undercutting begin
it's still too much. fuck these niggers and just don't buy anything
in a decade or so china will dominate completely the semiconductor manufacturing sector and the west will quietly walk out of taiwan, which will be gradually absorbed by the mainland
>>61831560What the fuck i bought my micron ram 4 months ago. Did i fuck up?
>>61831597This Xi's Grade A copium
>>61831597No theyll invade it
>>61831597*blocks your path*
Just buy ROM chips and just go into the firnware, toggle "allow RAM mode", to change it to RAM.Don't understand why everyone isn't doing this.
why do people buy ram?I legit just made my NVMe into ram, I have 2tb of ramyou need moar?
>2x16gbLol lmao

>>61831560>2X16 Gig RAM sticks. That's the highest quality RAM he's had? I was in highschool when I got one in my PC, that was over 10 years ago.
>>61831562>RAMs are actually not hard to make.True.>The quality is a solid 90% behind the brand names. The other 10-40% is binning the chips and having/paying for good yields and selling premium-consummer/premium-pro high-frequency ram.Brands don't matter until you have/want to care what chip model your ram sticks maker put.>This is why I believe the big hardware techs are playing with fire with their manufactured scarcity so they can raise prices.>Now China sees an opportunity.I assume they just expect chinese RAM chips to still have low frequency, bad yields, be very sensitive to overclocking, unreliable and simply be dirt cheap(which well is slow ram better than no ram, hell yeah it is).>They could of easily expand capacity by 100-300% in less than 6 months building factory lines to produce the needed RAMs.Is it one of those things where by openAI/AI-corps expected they could just buy up over 40%(openAI is 40%) world's DRAM/HBM2 production to block China from having any of it?

Bruh
>>61831603It's what they've done with photovoltaics, batteries, EVs, nuclear reactors, etc. Semiconductor manufacturing is a harder nut to crack because it's very complicated and because the US has been desperately trying to stop Chinese companies from importing cutting-edge tools, however the Chinese are not afraid to spend the money necessary to develop their own tools
How do I do this? I guess it's not just aliexpress or something?
Lol
>>61831711Communist.
>>61832458its a paid chinese post, imagine anyone caring enough about this to independently write this article, let alone post on this board.
>>61832438Which is why ol black rock is buying up all the houses. Once the US loses high tech and hyperinflates, old boring stuff like houses are the investments, your 900 PE vaporware company will be trash.
>>61831571How much do you manufacture and sell DDR5 ram for?
>>61835817faggot
so youre telling me i can send money to aliexpress and then double it on ebay?
>>61831560I hope you're right OP. However, it's worth mentioning, cheap RAM is only going to accelerate AI growth.
>>61835854commie fag
>>61835854>simping for China>calling others fagsHow about you care about your own people for once, instead of being obsessed with America's downfall?
>>61831560>chinks for some reason making magical RAM and deciding not to sell to AI datacentersit's bullshit as usual, don't believe any news coming out of china because the country has no insight other than what CCP wants people to see
>>61831560do you rememberer when the housing bubble burst? And then housing is more expensive than ever now?Did you learn nothing?
