Why did they even buy so much during the GFC in the first place?
>>61832092>Whyso they can dump them at the perfect time to fuck the US
china man sells plastic shit to murican, he gets dolla, he goes to bank and exchange dolla for yuan. China bank man then trades dolla for more dollas but in the futureAlso they are not selling, they just stopped buying, mature bonds get converted to gold or whatever the fuck they buying now
>>61832098They've coincidentaly been buying a lot of silver and gold in turn. Makes you think. With them taking over EU markets, we might see a mandate where China expects a form of silver or gold backed currency in turn for their cheap goods. Sort of what their traders did hundreds of years ago when they brought silk and chinaware.
>>61832092They saw the writing on the wall long ago
>>61832146Wonder if this is part of their plan for brics to try and capture the eu market and isolate the usTbf it could work if it wasn't a partnership of the most untrustworthy governments in the world>inb4 no uThe us is getting flak for flinging the same shit everyone else did for the last decade. Not an excuse and it just tears the whole thing apart when the only real bargaining pieces are ego, but its really something to watch
>>61832092chinks are broke as fuck and need USD to do trade, so they do what they can
>>61832092Financial war between US and China. See: silverChina knows the US markets are fake and gay and full of kikes. With just a bit of pushing, it will topple.
>>61832092More likely they just don't buy new ones.
When China (and others) buy US treasuries, they are loaning the US government existing dollars that the US government can then spend on its ridiculous bullshit. If the US government cannot borrow enough existing dollars, it must get the Federal reserve to create new dollars out of thin air. This expands the money supply. So China buying treasuries allows the US government to spend recklessly beyond its revenue without inflation. But when China stops loaning its dollars to the US government, two things happen. First, the US must create more fresh dollars to spend on stupid bullshit. But China still has dollars to spend and so it uses them to buy various assets - like gold, silver, real estate, etc. pushing up prices. So there is double the inflationary pressure. Fed must create more fresh money and existing money gets spent on assets other than Treasuries. That trend is what will ultimately incinerate the USD.
