This guy unironically ruined Bitcoin for the rest of us.
He has a too huge a piece of the pie, and he's leveraged as fuck. And he proudly let everyone know.

The powers that control the market won't let him just get away with that, they've always gone out of their way to kill off anyone who is significantly leveraged with volume, it barts up and down all the time so they can squeeze all the gamblers dry.

The 4 year cycle is dead and any future bull runs are postponed until they crush this guy, sadly.

>>61841964
Then he just had to overextend himself again and keep buying on the way up, at 87k, even at 90k.
He was already out of the hot water, but he decided to jump back in head first.

If he truly believed in Bitcoin's 4 year cycle, he would've had the patience to wait for the bear of the cycle to buy. Because there is ALWAYS a bearish period in the cycle. He will NEVER run out of opportunities to buy Bitcoin in a bear market.

But instead he demonstrated fomo during a bull, which shows he doesn't even have faith there will be a bear, showing he doesn't have full faith in the 4 year cycle.

That he can be the face of fomo in a bull market means he is trading emotionally, and he has the potential of being the face of fear in the bottom of a massive bear market.
Both sides of the same coin.

He had no more weaknesses, then made even bigger ones by buying up to 90k. Now they can take him down again, and it's probably easier this time around

Microstrategy has ~$50B worth of Bitcoin at today's prices and ~$8B of debt. The book value is ~$42B. Their marketcap is currently ~$36B. They are currently undervalued as a company, so couldn't a billionaire Bitcoin bull who wants their Bitcoin technically acquire the company and pay off the debt to get ahold of a giant Bitcoin stack at a discount without shaking up the price? That could be one way out for him.
>>
>>61843014
Like if Blackrock boomers start buying again then they could just buy Microstrategy shares instead of Bitcoin to get it at a discount.

They have a net loss on the Bitcoin purchases.
They have way more than 8 billion in 'debt'.
If he has to start selling shares in order to pay dividends/yield, it's going to crush the collateral he was using for financing the bitcoin purchases.
Everybody is focused on whether he will need to sell the Bitcoin.
If he kills the stock, there's all kinds of variables that come into play.
Don't forget that a few years ago, MSTR wanted to remove him as CEO etc... he got the heat off his back by making a paper profit on Bitcoin, nevermind that he could never actually sell it at those levels to realize it (because he would tank the market)... well now he has a loss.

Right. The company is insolvent and will have to declare bankruptcy if the price doesn't recover and he can't keep the ponzi going. I am thinking of how that could work without them selling BTC on the open market, which would lead to a price collapse. If there is enough interest from Bitcoin bulls to keep the price up they will want to acquire his Bitcoin directly. In bankruptcy you look for a buyer first who will just take over everything to salvage what they want from the company, and surely there is someone who wants their Bitcoin.
>>
The true (and only) value of Bitcoin is two-fold

1. It's something ai agents can actually own. An AI agent cannot truly possess gold, even with a robotic body, because it can be taken away, but an AI agent with proper encryption can hold Bitcoin and spend it strategically
2. If the universe is a simulation, it's pretty likely that Bitcoin is the only form of money that can span two or more different realities. Owning Bitcoin at the time of your death is probably a good idea for whatever awaits you on the other side.

The value of Bitcoin would have to exist in any reality where math applies, so it's safe to assume the math would still work in a higher reality.
All I'm saying is, having Bitcoin at death could be the difference between being reincarnated as a Chad banging dimes, and being a jeet rolling in shit.

The biggest bubble in history isn't an asset, it's the Enlightenment. Intellectual paradigms under the conditions of modernity function like speculative bubbles. The rise and crash all the time. But these have really been more like surface ripples on the face of an even more giant bubble, that of the Enlightenment and liberalism.

In this context, nominalism, voluntarism, constructivism, etc. are all adaptive because they imply that simply believing something is the case makes it into a reality. What is "useful" determines being. So, through a series of bubbles, we are forced evermore towards the idea that we can create all values and meaning, and so secure the upwards ascent of progress towards singularity. Intellectual bubbles work much like market bubbles in that, the more people buy in, the more pressure there is for others to buy in.

But at a certain point the fundamentals are going to kick back in. You cannot blast off from reality forever. Eventually, once you've eroded all norms and values, your society is fucked. You hit extinction level fertility rates. Elites no longer feel like they have any role except maximizing their own aggrandizement. "Pragmatism all the way down" leads to "hedonism all the way down."

At a certain point, people realize women don't have penises, molesting kids or filling their drinking water with lead is bad for them in a way we cannot "construct away," etc. We've already seen small signs of capitulation. Teleological Aristotleian ethics, dead in 1950, is now the most popular paradigm even in analytic thought. Subjectivism is in decline. The situationist paradigm popped like a bubble.

I predict wholesale collapse as more and more people capitulate to reality. The result will be unlike anything since the collapse of Rome (although better in the long run).
