So I need help bros. I've been living for nearly free at my parents the last couple of years and I was able to save/invest a decent amount of money from my job where I make 93k. It's kinda nice being able to never worry about money, or having to deal with paying for usual housing costs where the landlords/banks try to fleece you for your last cent.BUT, I am miserable living here and am nearly always in a bad mood from my parents. I don't have a normal family and might have developed CPTSD living here. The damage may already be done as I am approaching 30 as I have never been on a date and have no friends.Would it be a dumb idea to continue living here, save up to like a million, then completely drop out of society and go NEET?
>>61841002Depends on your goals desu, if you feel like it’s more harm than good then it’s probably be better to leave
money supercedes everything so anything you do to have more money that isn't degenerate or illegal is the best thing to do
It's a dumb idea to ask this place for advice.
>>61841002Idk man, I'm 32 and live with my mom. I still have a few friends and women don't seem to care though.Do you fight woth your parents?
>>61841002Living with or around family is what humans have done since forever until psychopathic space lizards convinced everyone that was a bad idea so to exploit us better, so no, it's not dumb as long as you're doing your share of work. It's only dumb if you're a lazy fuck or if you think it's doing more damage to you than what you're gaining back. I bailed and ate being poor for a while, and I'd do it again because fuck that noise. I don't regret it, If you're in a similarly shit situation then it's completely your call on what you can take.
>>61841002>CPTSDgo back to plebbit
>>61841002if you don't like your parents then why would you want to continue living with them, leave. If you loved your parents then you should stay.
>>61841002Get over your mother and forgive your father, unironically.
>>61841002>>61841183No, it's not dumb. It would be dumb if you are living with them because you've never actually made any effort leave the nest. You... have made efforts to be an individual in your life, right?
Yeah its fucking cancerous I'm out
>>61841002What do you do for work? I'm almost 34, been back with my parents for a few years and have never made more than 45k/year and wanna kms
>>61841094>>61841190They are narcissistic and very helicopter like. Being an individual is impossible, and fights happen nearly every day. If I’m being honest I’d probably never contact them again if I move out.
>>61841257>Being an individual is impossible, and fights happen nearly every dayThis is not true. Fights happen every day... What do you mean? Yelling?
>>61841257If it's that toxic, then you should leave. But I'd still recommend getting a roomate because living alone is insanely expensive.
>>61841252>have never made more than 45k/year and wanna kmsnigga living with parents + investing is a fucking cheat code for getting rich no matter how much money you're makingif you're living at home you should have no problem investing 2/3 of your paycheck
>>61841252I am 30, make 80k/y, and I go from living in my van just long enough for my family to miss me, to staying in my old room and “saving money” (servicing debt). Last I checked, .33 acres of land was $45,000, Pam Bondi says the GDP is going great, so we should just let Them continue to plunder our country, and I can’t do anything about it because 2.2 million zogbots are eager to kill their own citizens for a power fantasy.
>>61841002I personally have been travelling around the world or living at my dad's house when I'm not. in 2024 I was out of the country for 8 months. this year it will be 10 months. been doing it like that since 2021 when my Bitcoin stack hit a half a million and I didn't see the point in working my wagie job for 20k euro a year anymore. I could have been even richer but I didn't want to waste my youthfu yyears being a wagiecagie got a long term gf out of it which is coolquitting my job was the best decision of my life. I don't have enough wealth to retire yet tho so I worry sometimes. but I'll inherit a lot tooso I'm comf. I am thinking about if it's worth it to work at all since robots are coming in 10 years.
