The existence of these adverts seem like they're joking that we live in 1950, and that someone could move to a town, buy a house after two weeks, and work there for 4 decades. But we live in 2026, people will have to rent overpriced and shitty housing, and they'll have to move away within a few years to progress.Small businesses are the biggest fucking meme of all time. Having your entire fate in the hands of a droog boomer who judges you on conversation about sportsball is a horrific joke. Working in a huge soulless corporation is heaven.
