I am going to open a brokerage account, which has the best APY on money markets + the best perks? Feed me the information anon's.
>>61845820For a lot of reasons, Interactive Brokers. Not even close from my perspective, but I'm not an American Citizen, which may be why i am biased.
>>61845825Thanks, checking it out now. Keep feeding me information anons.
>>61845825Their money market account gives terrible APY unless you have a tremendous amount of money on their platform. I don't plan on trading much at all so this is out I think
>>61845869it's 3.20%. i don't mean to demean the amount of money youre planning on earning interest on, but if you're going to go to a mediocre platform/company because they pay slightly more, I would think the amount of money you're talking about would be tremendous. If it's not north of a million USD, not worth it IMO. 1% on a million is 10 grand, which i think everybody would agree is worth it but otherwise stick with a good platform that is capitalized.
I use vanguard but I just farm DRIP and ira contributions and doubt they will ever going to go belly up. They did get annoying spamming their ai advisors for awhile though
>>61845820>how did they make the cat do that
>>61845891It's 3.2% when you have a million dollars NAV.
>>61845988I stand corrected, it's 3.2% when you have 100k NAV on a million dollars.Either way that's retarded, you can get better APY off a CD on almost any amount of money.
>>61845921Quick breakdown on farming DRIP? I assume you use the IRA contribution for taxes?
Bumping for more information.
>APYIt's easier to get a margin account and put money in treasuries (directly or via etf) to get the full return. Then if you want to buy something you just buy it and sell those treasuries same day, which pays off the margin without incurring interest. This is always going to get you better returns than a money market account since the jew vampires are just buying those treasuries and shaving them before passing it on to you.
>>61846787Thanks for this, I don't quite understand it, but I will assimilate it until I do.
>>61846787>>61846793Oh, I understand now. Appreciate it.
