Its still a relatively new stock being just over 3 years old, so there isn't much chart data to go off of and I most certainly wouldn't recommend it on a long term horizon (5+ years). But if you wanna allocate some of your port to dividends, its a decent pick from my 1 year experience of holding it.HDIV is similar except it has a lower yield at 10% and it outperformed HMAX over the same 1 year time frame (30% vs 23% in HMAX). Also I should note that I hold it in my FHSA and not TFSA.
