IIRC its better to manually convert for amounts above ~6000 USD and better to auto convert below that. As for having some random forex trade, its probably because IBKR will convert slightly more than thats needed incase the price changes by the time it executes the order or something like that so you might have some small amount of USD in your account but IDK, i wouldn't worry about it the numbers they show are just jewish tricks to make the balances add up correctly.
