Hold a conversation instead of being full autistic. Then when you find a role you like start asking questions about the role (even if you already know the answer) with the goal of getting them to put you in direct touch with the hiring manager.I'm in engineering (real engineering not SWE) so I ask them about NCEES licensure, inter-state reciprocity of license to practice engineering, or some technical questions for the role that HR would never be able to answer.
