March = 100, 5400
April = 1000, 10000
>>
copied from my comex watch thread
LATEST UPDATE AS OF WEDNESDAY MORNING
2 days until first notice day
registered inventory declined by 1,018,762 ounces. currently 87,172,296 ounces are available to meet demand. open interest dropping sharply as expected. 14,196 march contracts were closed, 5,350 rolled into may. remaining open interest is 114,830,000 ounces. that leaves the gap at 27.7 million ounces. this gap will certainly be closed over the next two days and oi will slide below registered just in time. this means march will (likely) be the first month of the year where deliveries will be lower in 2026 than they were in 2025. quite irregular especially for a major month when the two previous minor months unexpectedly saw blowout delivery quantity. even with march 2026 deliveries likely less than 80m ounces, registered inventory at comex is likely to be almost completely depleted at the end of the month. it's unclear how they will manage to avoid soft default in the second quarter.

for it to break disastrously, yes, probably. even though oi is still higher than registered the rate of decline is such that they should be okay my first notice day. but with how much is going to get delivered in march they're going to be damn near out of silver without significant inflows. the price is still going to climb much higher throughout march as the extent of the drain becomes clear.

what's strange is that it's looking like march 2026 will be lighter than march 2025. this is a hard reversal of the trend we've been seeing and there's no apparent reason for it. i suspect whatever damage control they're doing behind the scenes is working to reduce oi. but it's insane how fragile the situation is. a single blue whale or small black swan could break this whole thing

You are technically correct. The RCM is primarily doing it as a flex. There is a tiny niche market for ultra high purity gold, but not in the form of bullion coins. The 99999 Maples would be a good raw input material for making ultra high purity gold.

The RCM made some 100kg five 9s gold coins. One of them was on display in Germany when it was stolen.

Somebody should post the news story of a RCM employee caught stealing "hockey puck" size globs of gold up his ass 4 - 5 at a time and selling it off to pawn shops, and the RCMP investigating asked for a volunteer at the RCM to replicate it with hockey pucks, and they found somebody, another employee at the RCM, volunteered to shove hockey pucks up their ass to prove that it was possible to smuggle gold size of hockey pucks up their ass.

Truly a Canadian heritage moment.

All gold bugs fantasize about shoving their yellow metal up their bums.

Almost every time I bring up how silver is superior to gold, someone will come out and say that gold is a more dense store of value and easier to smuggle if SHTF.
that means shoving it up the butt...

Owning gold means opening the door of possibly shoving metal up your bum. No thanks.

I won't pay extra for the extra 9s, aside from maybe one gold Maple just as a collector's item. One of our gold Maples has a copper spot. I have no idea how a 4x9 purity coin can end up with copper blemish, but apparently it's a real thing.

I can almost guarantee that COMEX will move heaven and earth to avoid the dreaded forced cash settlement, including by paying big premiums to anyone who will defer delivery to T+30, +60, or +90.

They want to whittle down deliveries to only those who absolutely can't wait. There is a lot of silver available for the right price. Notice they are happy to spend fiat to delay delivery, but do NOT want the price of silver to go up.

That should be a hint at what their real goal is.

Unless they need the physical for immediate production. Shutting down the production line because one has no raw materials is to be avoided at almost any cost.

And yes, the short term solution to a silver shortage is much higher prices. Plenty of boomers and even younger guys will sell at least silver for $200+/oz, particularly if it shrinks the GSR to 30 or less. $250 silver takes the GSR to 20:1 at current gold prices.

What if you want a bj from a formerly well to do house wife and her daughter of questionable age but they want proof your merc dimes are real? My LCS is well over an hour away. I'm not going to take those bitches up there to prove my mercs are real just to get a bj.

Is COMEX halted? All my charts have been frozen since 1pm
>>
>>61901485
I mostly agree with your open interest data. I genuinely do not know why it doesn't match with what COMEX lists here: https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/metals/precious/silver.volume.html
For example, on 23 Feb, your data has 37,651 for OI and, for that date (use the pulldown menu), COMEX shows 37,162. Maybe it has to do when the time you ran the query? I genuinely dont know.

For Registered Moz, my data vendor confusingly indexes the inventory data by "Report Date" -- which is the date the report came out -- not "Activity Date", which is the date to which the reported inventory value applies. For me, I don't have access to inventory data past 23 Feb, because yesterday's inventory, 24 Feb, will be released around 6pm EST tonight, 25 Feb. It will say "Report Date: 24 Feb, Activity Date, 23 Feb"
But details aside, I'm glad that our analyses show decent agreement. All the drama is going to happen in the next 3 days apparently
Also, you have 88Moz listed for 27 Feb, which hasn't happened yet

Check out this article from 2013 about a corrupt gold dealer with the same last (((name))).
>TAMPA — An Avila megamansion modeled after a 17th-century royal palace is now headed to the foreclosure auction block, the latest disgrace for gold dealer Mark Yaffe and what was once Tampa Bay's most expensive estate.

He was skimming to pay his family members and fund construction of a jewish palace. People are idiots for trusting Jews.

If what someone was saying some threads ago in a video (didn't watch it) becomes true, there's a gamma squeeze waiting and I guess it happened and all shorties have been liquidated and the price became infinite.
So they rolled back everything.

If you're in the US, British .500 is common and cheap, lots of it was brought over during WWII by soldiers who were stationed in Britain.
US era Philippines Coins tend to be cheap at coin shops, but not on Ebay, the same goes for Silver Balboas and Mexican Silver.
Newer LMU junk (particularly Switzerland and Venezuela) tends to be on the cheap side, but older stuff is more and more likely to have premiums.
Late stage continental European stuff is also cheap, but can be harder to find in large quantities.

>got an appointment with my bank tomorrow
>the 50k i had initially invested into real estate funds lost me about 8k
>meanwhile the 30k ive invested into silver and gold have turned into 60k

It's gonna be an interesting talk. While i hate banks, putting fiat in some dumb fund sounds appealing instead of having to shuffle around moneys and dealing with tax stuff. But thats really it. I reckon by getting some trading app and investing in some miners i could reap some nice benefits (benefits to invest into physical again). I really think were entering a big commodities bullcycle and while i have a nice physical stack already, i could really use some stinky fiat to improve my living situation.

Im really torn with this, will see what they can offer me but if its some paper derivative bs i just clear the account completely.

What do you think anons? thax for reading my blogpost

Does anyone have a supplier of fake silver and gold they like?
I want to set up a couple decoy sets since my neighborhood started getting enriched and the cops decided 45 minutes was acceptable for a response time to a stabbing.

If physical runs out or infinite fiat gets printed... either way silver stackers win.

Gonna drop a full paycheck (1300 Canadian lol) on silver maples, should I grab them tomorrow at lunch break, or do you lads think I should wait til possible “crash” on Friday? Not sure if moon or gutter on friday, so I’m real unsure. I guess I could buy half or so on Thursday, then run at lunch to grab more friday depending.

Even if there was a crash of Friday, the price you pay today will be a fraction of what they will be in 6 months, and the prices likely won't drop very much between now and Friday, and might possibly even go up.

Bingo. If someone needs the silver, a cash settlement just forces them to have to hunt on the retail market for their silver.

See how far those "cash settlement" dollars go on APMEX. LOL. Who would trust COMEX again after they pulled this bullshit?

yes. and it makes sense, why would gold and silver move perfectly with USD inflation? lol it's not some magical asset that cannot increase in purchasing power. that's why all the people who say gold and silver are not an investment are silly
