CS is a completely dead field. Basically anything computer related is. Traditional engineering will likely be the last white collar job to be replaced by AI though, because there's manual thinking involved that can't be done by AI (yet). So if you want a safer engineering path, that's it. However going back to tech, yeah if you have a CS, cybersecurity, shit even a basic IT degree its actually over and you should consider going back to school or picking up a trade.

If you go to /g/ you'll find a few holdouts trying. They're like those Japanese that were stationed on some remote islands in WWII and kept fighting 20 years after the war ended.

its quite funny that all these SWE grads who obviously cheated in college using AI tools, are getting replaced by the AI tools themselves in the work place. Cheating has been a massive issue the last 5 years or so.

Cheating was a massive issue when I graduated in 2010

Different kind of cheating. I agree that cheating was happening back then too, but it was more cheating on homework via something like Chegg. AI will literally write entire essays or code for you these days.

Sit down, anon. Take it easy. Have you heard the word "gooning" yet? Also we're not allowed to bully people anymore, but we can be gay and smoke weed now.

I've just saw a video of Claude AI programming a functional football videogame in under 45 minutes. Autismos cannot compete m
