>At a $1.75 trillion market value, SpaceX would be bigger than all but five of the companies in the S&P 500 Index — Nvidia Corp. (NVDA), Apple Inc. (AAPL), Alphabet Inc (GOOG)., Microsoft Corp (MSFT). and Amazon.com Inc (AMZN). It would be larger by that metric than Meta Platforms Inc. (META), as well as Musk’s own Tesla Inc. (TSLA)

kek how overblown is this whole ponzi scheme stock market going to be. Why dont we just value a shell company = to the national debt and have the goyim pay up!?

Who actually values spacex that high?

Everyone with a head on their shoulder. SpaceX already dominates the sky over the Earth and promises the galaxy. It unironically has greater potential than any company there is.

Just to be clear, prior to January they had a monopoly in retrievable rockets. The chinese have caught up. To be specific LandSpace
(Blue Arrow Space Technology Co). Now its an arms race again between America and China. Both want an IPO this year.

>LandSpace Technology, a leading Chinese private space company, has advanced toward an IPO on Shanghai's STAR Market, with its application accepted on December 31, 2025, aiming to raise about 7.5 billion yuan ($1.07 billion

SpaceX is equivalent to the Railroads in late mid 19th century America.

Not really, even in the West there are multiple competitors, Elon is a compulsive liar (just take a look at all the FSD promises) and there are no actual plans on how to capitalise on space.

This IPO is just so Elon can be the first trillionaire.

Hurry the fuck up and get your trillionaire title already, Elon

Why SpaceX is IPOing.

Elon needs exit liquidity. Why? Because the Earth's magnetic field is weakening. In fact, it's 150 years into what is known as a geomagnetic excursion, which is a 250-350 year long process from peak to trough to peak. And it is about to reach the tipping point where it really accelerates.

Weakened magnetic field = satellites more exposed to space radiation = satellite failures.

Look into reports about Starlink having intermittent failures over parts of South America, where the South American magnetic hole and South Atlantic anomaly is.
