If it was me id buy it. If you need it in cash later it will still be worth a lot(most likely)
My only concession to these prices is im buying 1/10 up to a half oz at a time just to dca a bit and not put too much fiat into one item. Still an extra full oz is fine as long as you don't need the fiat for 3 years.

I just want to remind everybody at /pmg/ that we are just one very bad news day away for gold and silver to pump hard.

The markets are uneasy, and one bad day will make them all shart out in fear and panic buy paper gold, paper silver.

Anything can happen, such as;

>Iranian extremists does terrorist attack on U.S mainland

or

>U.S/Israel politician dead by missel attack/assassination... whatever

and the historically classic

>U.S warship sunk by Israe-urm, I mean, Iran, hundred of U.S troops dead (a historical favorite to justify land invasions)

Also don't let the U.S/Israel war of aggression on Iran distract you, we are not even talking about the comex and how they are short on silver, and gold being short as well. Its not even April yet.

Take advantage of the dips, and keep on stacking my brothers

Well you love some critically acclaimed favorites. All the Adult Swim animu have vastly broad appeal, GiTS:SAC and all the rest. Can attest for satan's recommendation of these, they're all good, Monster especially. Have rewatched Bebop every couple years for over twenty years now. Samurai Champloo had the same director and it's also quite good. Anon specified the "old vesion" but Die Neue These is great and watching the orginal run to finish the storyline works well enough but the original run is extremely dated and doesn't do the same justice to the books as the more modern Production IG does.

Good adaptations are a godsend. Kimetsu no Yaiba was a fucking miracle. Did you read the manga for that one? That's already been debunked that it was an Iranian missile that came back down.

>Some Iranian expats in LA don’t count

Yes tell that to the millions in Iran that protested to remove the current government in Iran.

The Iranians have been revolting against the government for years and every time they do the government would mow them down. There were even bigger protests during Obama's presidency and Obama sold the iranians out and gave billions to the mullahs

I wanted to know what people thought about buying on ebay/marketplace vs at an lcs, I don't want israeli's and carney knowing about my PM purchases. I'm thinking about possibly starting to lurk for good silver & gold sellers in canada on ebay or local marketplace/groups. Marketplace might not be the worst, but also I don't want to meet up unless they're some boomer, because otherwise it'll probably be six nafri's

This is solely because I am super stoned and think that somehow stacking is going to get my ass bit somehow, knowing Canada. I found a good enough local that only rorts ya about $7-$8 above spot per silver maple. It seems near same as TD if you get that good premium, but without 6 year waiting time. Will possibly make my first trip there tomorrow during lunch break and slurp a maple or two.

>I wanted to know what people thought about buying on ebay/marketplace vs at an lcs
I'm in the US, so my experience won't translate over 1:1, but here's what I know:
-LCS
>Prices are usually what you'd expect from major dealefrs, sometimes there are really good deals on stuff that's hard to sell, sometimes items are inexplicably overpriced
>Sometimes they won't have what you want
>Tax laws get bent at times, that is to say sometimes the dealer won't charge sales tax on items where sales tax is normally charged
>No Paper Trail (you can pay in cash)
>Since they deal in coins, you'll often get older (but not numismatically valuable) coins back in change
>You can build a relationship with the dealer
>You see what you're buying before you buy and even get to choose the specific coin
-Ebay
>Always taxed
>Always tracked
>They have everything (including counterfeits)
>You need a strategy for browsing and bidding, good BIN deals are basically nonexistant
>You're generally safe from scams as long as you're vigilant and report things early
>You can get really good deals if you know what you're doing (I got a cull Peace Dollar $10 below spot yesterday for example)

>>
>>61933035
i dont know about your state or area. but in my state we get around taxes by mailing what you buy with usps.

Stop worrying about dumb fucking schizo nigger shit like only paying in cash because some government agent is going to show up at your safehouse and mag dump you with an mp5, that shit is just holding you back from buying more.

its definitely convenient to be able to look at what your buying. Sometimes when you buy in bulk online you can get a bar or two that doesnt look very pretty. But not many people give a fuck so long as it weighs what it needs to and isnt filled with tungsten.
>>
>>61932983
yea lol, I was going to look into some stupid coins like a third reich for the sake of it and maybe one with tits hoo ahhhhhh

>>61933035
it seems like the states have 6 gorillion more LCS than we have up here, or at least in Montreal. I would try to get buddy buddy with one, but so far it's mostly meh premiums or same as sites like silvergoldbull when you pay with debit (well above spot price). I found one finally that's convenient cause it's close enough to where I work, only $7-8 above spot or per silver maple, but I don't know how "local" it is, as they have 15 locations across Canada. I might ring up this one shop that's on my train line home a few station stops away from my place and see what prices/stock they roll with, could be groovy or just goofy, worth a shot. We don't pay taxes in Canada for silver, not sure about gold. I remember I went to kitco for my first purchase and I was fucking blown away that paying in cash didn't do shit for my premium price, I should have known and walked out at that moment.

You guys should look into refining your own scrap silver into fine, and making your own ingots, or custom castings. Also, if you want a bit of fun, try removing silver plating from cheap plated flatware. If you can do it economically, there's plenty of it to be had. Gold fill separation is another fun project, if you are inclined. However, to get good deals, whether on ebay or irl, takes work, so pace yourselves, and don't forget to spend time with family and friends.

That makes sense, normally I would spend the change from a purchase on junk, fracrional bars or whatever else was closest to spot, but the RCM probably realized they could take advantage of these purchases by creating slightly larger or smaller coins for people to upgrade to.
I guess a 1.25 oz coin is probably lower premium than what buying a 1 oz coin and a 1/4 oz coin, so maybe they're a cheap, roundabout way of giving people .999 Fractional.

It seems clear to me that if the function of gold and silver is to be insurance, people would sell it in situations where they need insurance, thus people will sell gold and silver when something bad happens because that is when they need money. Think about all the people in Dubai who suddenly need to get money to leave. They will sell gold to get that money. The mistake is thinking that people care about the paper value of the metal at the moment something bad happens, they don't care, they aren't trying to get the best price, they just need money now.

Unconditional sellers will always drive down the price, but you can think of this as people cashing in their insurance. Over time if the war drags on the price goes back up because more people buy insurance than try to cash it in.

In any Social breakdown that lasts for weeks or more
barter takes over instantly, people start trading.
Even as the bombs are falling nearby.

People stacking already know how to barter.
It's in our blood.
If SHTF and I am hungry and some guys have some
chicken meat for 2 silver the guy gets 2 silver.
If it goes to 5 well that's why I have more than a few.

Imo anyone looking at this as "investment" or some sort of long term
retirement shit is foolish.
The ship is sinking. Plan accordingly

Why would the guy want 2 silver for barter though - it implies that the value system still considers silver valuable. In that case fiat would only be relatively worthless in the case of hyperinflation.
Hypothetically, you wouldn’t need to use silver for barter if placed in that situation unless there was a class of people who expected silver to be valuable in a future, more robust, economy. In which case, unless you were really desperate, you could use other things for barter. Alternatively, stock up on survival items so that you wouldn’t have to use silver.

Also, survival items are (still) cheap. Generally, survival isn’t expensive, unless we are talking about hazmat suits and bunkers, which are the top end of survival expenses. Things like preserved foodstuff, clean water, water-cleaning products etc are cheap now. The issue is when most of the people who aren’t prepared or trained for a survival scenario compete for publicly available stock, which gets depleted fast.
My point being that if someone is really expecting a worst case scenario (short of nuclear obliteration), he can start preparing now and have less odds of having to use up stuff like gold and silver, opting instead to retain it in case society recovers.

If you had any money in the bank it was Silver and they took

People had money at home like we all do.

I follow coin hunting forums, and people have found gold coins in circulation in quarter and penny rolls in the U.S, people don't pay attention to coinage in their change, at most, they go "huh, thats a weird coin" and then completely forget about it

Wildest example I seen was some gen x boomer finding a gold sovereign in a quarter roll. Finding silver is hard enough when you search rolls.

I enjoy picking silver out of circulation myself personally, but i doubt i'll ever find gold.

It's called deleveraging. Sometimes people get shaken out of their trades and so they have to sell their longs in order to cover their loans. It's the single biggest reason to stay the fuck away from the market is that it is stuffed full of borrowed money that all needs to be paid back. They like to flood the market on margin to double down on interest and dividends. But once things start to get a little scary you have pent up sell pressure trying to unwind at the exact same time the longs might be hesitant to buy in.
This is why Gregary Mannarino calls the Fed the "Buyer of last resort". Because at some point market participants won't be able to cover their loans because there is no one buying. Securities can lose 80-90% of their value in those kinds of situations. None of that improves the sell pressure either for those who get liquidated last.
Giga-brain portfolio = physical silver and some mining exposure. Gamestop, as this security is proven to be oversold by naked short sellers. It will have the OPPOSITE effect of a market crash. The price will spike as shorts have to cover. This is exactly what happened to Volkswagen in 2008. 2008 crash wasn't caused by a housing bubble, it was short sellers getting caught with their pants down and getting liquidated. The MSM doesn't want to put too much emphasis on the fact that naked short selling is essentially counterfeiting.

Debt/leverage are financial weapons and setting up retail investors to play around and blow up an account is not doubt a way they can profit. I changed my account to margin and took one look and had it switched back to cash only simply because I don't want my GME shares tied to anything where I could get liquidated on some bullshit technicality.

Exactly. These motherfuckers change the rules at any time, raise interest rates or reduce them based on some """external factors""" like bank interest rates and shit, but it's all bullshit. well, good thing i didn't post this post before. i can post it now.

the 2 oz coins are the best for tubes since you can get 14 in a tube. a nice compact 28 ozs

25 for 1 oz
20 for 1.25, so 25 oz total
only 15 for 1.5 oz, 22.5 oz total

only 15 seems too low

if you keep them out of the tube these capsules are good for them: https://onfireguy.com/products/onfireguy-high-relief-38mm-direct-fit-for-2oz-canadian-creatures-of-the-north?variant=46029750862120

50 Reichsmark (1933): Features the portrait of David Hansemann, a Prussian politician and banker.
100 Reichsmark (1935): Features Justus von Liebig, the "father of the fertilizer industry".
1000 Reichsmark (1936): Note with a portrait of Karl Friedrich Schinkel, a famous Prussian architect.

and the one you pointed out
BUT pre '39 all that was biased on a 20RM Gold Coin
It was a PM based economy.

5 Reichsmark (1942): Features a young man with idealized Aryan features on the front. It was introduced to replace silver 5-mark coins that the public was hoarding for their metal value.

Interesting discovery for me.
Doesn’t change my story much overall.
End result was the same

Will head there on Saturday and see what’s up. I have 15 bars set away (and one extra bar at my folks place from 30+ years ago my dad had randomly) but am proper happy with having coins as I reckon they’re way cooler. I’ll be getting a tube next Thursday when I go to the local near my place, hopefully they have maples in stock then lol. I wouldn’t mind trying to get amongst buying off folks on fb groups, but these two Canadian groups my buddy linked me didn’t accept me into the group heh, probably because I only have 25-40 fb friends as I never use that shit except to talk to aunties/uncles.

i just went and measured with canadian 1 ouncers.
with the 10 two ounce coins, i can fit 7 extra 1 ounce coins in there, so i imagine your 28toz is absolutely correct.
i guess i'm just silly for expecting the canadian mint to fit an even number of coins in the tube. however the tubes are the same size, the only difference being a yellow cap on my 1 ounce, red cap for the two ounce.
