former btc to 1M guy but realized it's all bullshit. crypto has been around for almost 20 years and you still can't walk in to a store and buy anything with it. it's fucking useless. everyone just buys it hoping it will go up and sell it to the next schmuck for fiat.
>>61934456>crypto has been around for almost 20 years and you still can't walk in to a store and buy anything with itbut you can, especially in non western countries https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myVyUS8g_4Qit just works, we just don't do it because amerigolems love their fiatdo you know what you can't do that with however?silvergoldyour VOO stock
they'll create one last fomo exit pump to 90k sometime. dont fall for it
>>619344657 t p s>IT JUST WERKS
>>61934456You can use BTC to make payment at any store that has square payment terminal.https://squareup.com/us/en/bitcoinThats alot of merchants.
>>61934466>they'll create one last fomo exit pump to 90k sometime. dont fall for itit's absolute fomo at this point. people buying the dips and pushing it up and those same people riding it down because>woah btc was at 125k a few months back!!!i used to be a true believer, but now i think it's fuck all. liquidated all of my crypto two months ago. maybe i'm wrong, but i think this is going to be a bloodbath.
>>61934488>You can use BTC to make payment at any store that has square payment terminal.>https://squareup.com/us/en/bitcoin>Thats alot of merchants.but what's the point? >get paycheck >buy btc>get square app to pay with btc>buy tv from best buy with btc on square appyou realize you're revealing your identity at some point in this convoluted process, right? so why not just swipe your credit card instead of trying to be some elite hacker that only deals in btc and had to authenticate their identity multiple times. this crypto shit seemed promising, but at the end of the day it's only good for buying drugs online.
It's all just greater fool, that's why meme coins pop off.None have a real use case AFAIKDo banks really use stellar? I got a music video made with dogecoin ages ago
>>61934465>>61934488This is a troll.
>>61934456
>>61934469and yet it isn't a problemalmost like lightning solved this years ago if you wanted to buy stupid shit like coffee and mcdicks
>>61934456Keep it simple...peer to peer internet cash. That's all. I'm more of an EVM maxi myself and I like to be able to send money to whoever I want, wherever in the world with ease.I just sent nearly $50k yesterday with a few clicks...no questions asked, no sign up, no BS. That's it.I also have important files organized via ERC6551 "folder tokens" (i.e. an onchain directory structure where the "file tokens' point to IPFS hashes).I can go on any computer, sign a txn, and have access to all my important files (this is a non-financial use case). Can I do all of this without crypto? Yes I can, but this is a better way for someone who cares about privacy. Young people don't care about privacy and their entire lives are just absorbing shitty content on their phones and consuming. If your only use case for crypto is whether or not it allows you to spend money...then yea...get a credit/debit card and download cash app or whatever.
>>61934456You also can’t walk into a store and buy anything with gold or silver. Even in times when currency was actually related to these metals. To most people these things (PMs & crypto) are worthless because ‘they can’t buy anything with it’ because they never realized what a trade is. If we would still be in a trade economy, people would much easier understand what has value, and that these objects have/hold their value because they are limited resources that do not perish and can be divided, meaning it is not like a sheep that can die and be bred and must be traded as a whole (otherwise it would be meat/wool which hold a different value from the sheep because they are consumables) but instead it is a ‘store of value’. Big caveat though is that ‘everyone’ must ‘believe’ in it in order to work, so yeah it is all bullshit at the end of the day, get a rope OP
>>61935206>lightninglmao still batting for the pedophiles? I guess you're all a bit slow in the bitcoin space. lightning exists to sabotage btc. core = pedos
>>61934456This is the 96th thread where I point out that the use case of crypto is getting wealth across borders (which is important in countries like China with tight capital control) and getting self custody (which is also important in China where you can't really trust banks or the government). And now no critic will "debunk" those points for 96th time
>>61934456>Parrots buttcoin-tier thesis about why bitcoin is le bad>Claims to have had some experience investing in cryptoWe get it, anon. You're either retarded or lying
>>61936106>something something epstein digital nothing bitfuck going to 0 intrinsic valueAnd here's your typical metalcuck buttcoin reply, we can wrap up the thread now.
>>61936314Wow you really showed me by saying "something something". All of my arguments are now debunked
>>61934456Did you know that when the US dollar was first created, many retailers did not accept it and would refuse your trade if you didn't have gold?USD was literally unusable for a long time because everyone wanted gold.
