Spaniards live far better lives than americans and northern europeans
Americans wish they could have the spanish lifestyle
Walkable cities aren't even a thing in America, european countries have a sense of community and nation that America will never have, you don't have to pay an arm and a leg to see a fucking doctor in Spain.
Spain has the largest high speed rail network per capita in the world.
>>
Lack of money does make you unhappy
>>
Chuds always say shit like
>”Yeah well there’s fucking black people in Madrid lol, Spain is done for”
Like every major American city isn’t Mulattoville
>>

How many blacks can you see in that picture?

I loved spain when I visited. Wouldn't want to live in Madrid or Barca but they have cool stuff to visit there
>>
>>61934797
money will buy the things that will make me happy

a house
good food
freedom from work

but im not allowed to make money. i am only allowed to work and pay rent.
>>
>>61934820
Yeah but I can live hundreds of miles from a major America city. Can you say the same? Spanish bastard.
>>
>>61934797
Spain is cool but it’s overplayed now as a destination.

Lots of turd world immigration, can’t own guns, high taxes (including wealth tax). Not many English speakers so amerimutt’s will have difficulties. Socialist cuck government.

The average American has to "keep up with the Jones'" so they get up to their eyeballs in debt. Neighbor has something shiny and new? Now you have to get something better.
Any stress I had went away with my last debt payment years ago.
>you don't have to pay an arm and a leg to see a fucking doctor in Spain
Neither do I. The most I will ever have to pay to see a doctor in the United States is $4200 each year.

Why is medical debt such a big issue in the states then? Or insurance companies rejecting perfectly valid claims? Seems to be a big enough issue for people to celebrate the assignation of a healthcare CEO.

What the fuck is wrong with eurocommies? This is why they'll always stay poor.

Because Americans are retarded and go without insurance because paying $60/month is less important than their netflix subscription.

Liberals celebrated it because all the media they listen to told them he was to blame for their shitty life circumstances and not their $8 daily starbucks.

I’m a finnish doctor and i was just discussing it at work how small of an incencitive money is. We have a public sector with a private sector at side. Easily the majority of very skilled and motivated doctors want to work at the public sector because public sector is where all the really sick patients go to who need skilled medicine. That’s where the challenge is. Only the wealthy people have money for the private sector, so there you will treat only people who are part of the most healthy sector of society anyways, and who seek treatment for very minor problems. Mostly just those doctors who only care about money and want an easy job work at the private sector, thus their medicinal skills detoriate. So for actual skilled doctors who care about medicine and want a challening interesting job, the challenge matters a lot more than money. Only lazy, those who can’t stand discomfort well and the greedy work for money only.

OP your argument only applies to a few specific urban areas. where i live in America the life happens right there on my farm. i have a huckleberry forest that produces hundreds of jars of jam every year, picked by my kids and wife. is this the definition of "life" you're talking about?
>>
>>61935176
also, OP doesn't realize people in rural Italy and Spain, people live out there for the same reasons we do, and do the same things.
>>
>>61935183

Yeah they have their own sect of urbanists that do things like

>claim they totally don't care about money while their main ideological priority is having the government forcibly take money from people richer than they to redistribute back to them
>claim they're totally happy and living the ideal life while being preoccupied with how everyone else is living theirs and how they can force them to adopt their exact same societal model of high density public transit style living
>>
>>61935190
it's almost like a cancer when viewed from space. they should be wiped out IMO
>>
>>61935190
>my city is so alive and walkable
>that we need fleets of automated cars to access it
>>
As of early 2026, Spain continues to face one of the highest youth unemployment rates in the European Union, with figures hovering around 23-25% for those under 25

The average annual gross salary in Spain is approximately €28,000–€28,400, translating to roughly €2,000–€2,360 per month before tax.

Yeah they must be sooooooooo happy lol. Sorry but this is fucking funny
>>
>>61935245
forgot to add this:

Average rent in Spain for a 1-bedroom apartment generally ranges from €700 to €1,500 per month, heavily dependent on location. Prime city centers like Madrid and Barcelona often exceed €1,300–€1,500, while smaller towns or suburban areas offer more affordable options, often under €900.

They literally cant afford to live like fucking literally
>>
Expat here. I live in SEA now, but I've been all over.

Let me tell you, American life is underrated. My main motivation for staying out here is my GF and also its like 90% cheaper

But let me tell you what America has that other countries dont

>Space
Good luck living in a bustling city and turning your guitar amp to 11 and shredding some tunes on your electric guitar or having a band practice. Most countries don't have this type of space and you have to pay to rent a rehearsal spot. But you can buy a house in the rural US and live as loud as you want.

>Guns
Asians, Euros, and Aussies dont know this feel. But there's something magical about 4 wheeling to the top of a mountain and dumping $300 worth of ammo with the bros while stoned

>BEEF
No matter what Europoors, weebs, beaners, or others say - American beef is top fucking notch. A prime ribeye, porterhouse, tritip, or strip steak kicks the absolute SHIT out of any other countries beef and cuisine. Not even the most expensive wagyu can compete with the average American prime ribeye or porterhouse.

>cleanliness
Most of Asia, S America, and Most of Europe is filthy and dilapidated thanks to either the locals or the immigrant waves that have invaded. America is one of the few places on Earth you can still find areas that arent plagued by trash.

At the end of the day, America has options. Want to live in a bustling city? You can do that. Want to live in the middle of the desert and ride ATVs and Bikes while hip firing a paintball gun at your bros? You can do that. Want to live in the woods and be nature boy doing mushrooms and trying to pet wildlife animals while tripping? You can do that. Want to live away from shitskins? Can still do that. Best part, you can live rurally and just drive 45 minutes to experience city life at any time.

America has its problems but it has perks you can only truly appreciate if you've lived there.

>>
>>61935275
As a resident of /trv/, I can confirm space is really THE underrated gem of living in the US. Guns are whatever. Beef is subjective, I imagine you grew up with corn fed beef so grass fed tastes worse, but in general it’s pretty affordable compared to most places. Cleanliness is hit or miss, I’d argue we’re relatively dirty for a developed country but infinitely cleaner than a third world shithole like the one you’re probably sexpating in. But overall agreed, the US is the best country in the world in terms of optionality for lifestyle.
>>
>>61934971
And the obvious issue that I forgot to mention because it's so commonplace here:
Americans are fat pigs and being a fat pig comes with consequences, like chronic health issues. So Americans will eat themselves to the brink of death and then bitch and moan about how expensive their insulin is every year.
That's why Americans get into ridiculous amounts of medical debt: they spend money faster than they earn it so there's nothing left for emergencies and they're fat pigs with high recurring medical expenses.

I had to work in Spain for 6 months and it fucking sucked. Everything closes in the middle of the day because they're all lazy as fuck and need a mid-day nap like toddlers do so you basically have a two hour block where you just sit around on your hands waiting to go back to work. See that's the annoying part nobody mentions, you need to go back and make up for the lost time at work after your break, so you end up working until like 6-7pm and then with commute time you don't get home realistically until like 8pm. It was fucking awful I don't know why they don't just suck it up and work the whole day and then go home at a reasonable time. Back in the US I get home at like 4pm.
>>
>>61935275
you obviously haven't had beef in colombia, or argentina. hell evn brazil has good beef

the difference is these cows actually have the ability to eat fresh grass year round unlink in america in the winter most will have to eat corn onions, or at best dried old grass,

and in colombia they dont use antibiotics or hormones when you get it from rural farmers. the beef almost looks purple from how nutrient dense it is. the blood tastes amazing,

also SEA is for betas. if you have weak prey features stay away from latam

thanfully i have predator features. hunter eyes. thick jaw. strong shoulders big chest. i can handle latam.

>>
>>61934891
Unironically small town middle America is the closest thing to the pic in the OP. Many old town squares have old brick buildings built like that with stores on the main floor and housing above on the 2nd floor that no one uses because they live in real houses a few blocks away that were built later.

Europoors that visit are suprized we have these but they are common in most old small towns and cities. What they don't realize is that no one lives above the stores. You can but why would you when you could just live in a real house a ahiet walk or drive away? You literally just go there to shop.

because they have far lower standard of living than people in america.
I can say same thing about people living in india or south africa, they are much happier than those who live in america because they only know the friction of wealth and purchasing power average resident in america possesses.
being poor means you are more venerable to exploitation and slavery than those who are less poorer than you.

I've visited countries like Spain and Japan long term, lived in apartments in my 20s. Theres nothing special about living in walkable cities.

Your neighbors will be up your ass for noise (I DJ so i will be blasting music into the AM), parking situation is fucking retarded(having to shuffle cars with your roommates, having to move your car off the street for plowing), the city will write you a ticket for working on your car in the street, just a whole bunch of stupid nonsense that you have to deal with.

I'm so glad i bought my house with a few acre to seperate me from my neighbors. If i want company, i have friends that i have curated. I dont need to go out to the city park to talk to some bums.
>>
it makes a lot more sense when you realize western europe is like the spoiled teenager living off daddy america's money, they don't work, don't contribute, all they do is sit around the house and party while USA does the heavy lifting and brings home the bacon so they can live their entitled lifestyle. No concept of how the real world works or how much things cost. They live for free under America's roof with no real bills so they spend all their allowance on things like fashion, healthcare, restaurants, public transit then brag about how much better they are than all the other kids because they wear nice clothes eat out at the best restaurants and have universal healthcare... every once in a while daddy america will do something like invade iran or put up a fence in the backyard to keep out the migrant raccoons that keep ruining the garden and europe will stomp their feet and throw a hissy fit about how ugly the new fence is and how mean daddy is being to the nice raccoons but ultimately they will go along with it because america makes the rules and if they ever had to move out and live on their own they would have to get a job and get rid of all their nice clothes and social programs and start living in the real world.
