Yes. What would you do instead? Make no attempt to get the promotion? Quit?

Still not as humiliating like dating as an average man.
>>
>>61942298

Then don’t compete for one? There are tons of wagers who accepted their situation, eked out whatever life they could, then died.

Every promotion I've ever had has been forced on me against my will and has ultimately led to me leaving the company.
I really hate being in charge, even if I'm good at it. The juice simply isn't worth the squeeze and managing people is a total bitch.

If that guy lifted 3 days a week he wouldn't look like a manbaby

I’m the only guy doing my job but the guy who did it for a short time before I started years ago still holds the superior position, in addition to his other actual job. He mentioned offhandedly giving the title to me a little while back, not sure how to ask him directly about it though since I’m not sure he even makes the call.

>Competing
There's your problem. Just b urself.
>>
>>61942298
its better to just be a pauper and in 3 years you saved a quarter million while the fucker that worked 3x harder than you makes 5% more and blows it all on a car payment...cant wait to quit on these niggas when they need me most

staying in the same position for 5+ years is a humiliation ritual

Going to work in 2026 is a humiliation ritual.

this mf has good eye shape, he should just lose the cap, the glasses, and the fat.
>>
>Who can suck the bosses cock the best
In my 26 years of employment this has always been the case and the person promoted has taken on twice the work and certainly didn't get twice the pay.
>>
Humiliation ritual? How can you exclude medicine, engineer, accountant, teacher, lawyer.
>>
>>61942894
I've seen a ton of ripped dudes with babyfaces. Does nothing for a babyface, and that guy isn't even a bad case of one
>>
>>61942933
This was my approach until now which is not going to cut it given all of the cuts happening in software right now. I am preparing for the big shift in software and need the senior title asap. Luckily I'm pretty capable but my work environment is very political in a very suble way if that makes sense.

This dude just needs to lose some weight, hit the gym, and get contacts. It's that simple.
>>
>compete
>they hire some guy's gf to the position and she has to be trained from scratch
