Is there any chance the oil crisis could cause supply chain issues and panic buying like we saw during COVID? Should I be going long on pasta and toilet paper?

We shouldn't be but retards stuck in Dubai should be. They'll run out of food in about a week, they get all their food shipped to them via that straight of homos, and that shit is closed up tight

People in my country were already queuing up at the fuel stations to panic buy fuel last weekend, which caused the prices to go up a bit, but it seems to have calmed down now. I'm not sure what the long term effects will be, but I would not be surprised to see it affect the prices of other goods because obviously everything is dependent on fuel/energy.
