>I worked hard enough to become a doctor and now i get to help people at work while i earn a handsome wage and have enough money to enjoy a good lifestyle with long vacations, i enjoy respect from other people and get more women than i have time or sexual energy to enjoy. So yeah hard work does give you a nice very enjoyable life. Why do loser adult men think people respect them because of their job? It is always doctors and engineers who have this thinking? Like the only people that care about your job are other working class plebs.
>>61944018Who are you quoting, nigga
Not even a third of the muttlets can read. It's only going to get worse.
>>61944045It is what doctors and engineers think. Like they think respect them lol. The only jobs that get respect are influencers, actors, singers and famous athletes. Like who respects a person who went to md school. What a dork lmao.

>>61944018Family medicine doctors barely make more than I do, a lowly accountant fag. I’m not bragging though, I fucking hate my job so much it’s unreal.
>>61944059I'm an engineer and I don't think this way. Granted, when people find out what I do they tend to give me some "oh wow" or other positive response and they assume I have money.

>>61944144> when people find out what I do they tend to give me some "oh wow" or other positive response and they assume I have money.Try hanging around young rich people. People under 30. lol. Not old people. Trust me. Engineers and doctors are losers to young money.
Doctors in the US have a high suicide rate because their jobs suck. Turns out spending a third of your day fighting with (((insurance companies))) is bad for you.
>>61944144>peopleOnly 2.5% of Americans have 1m when excluding a home. lol. Majority of people are losers.
>>61944018i respect doctors, not engineers though (why would you do this?)
>>61944144> when people find out what I do they tend to give me some "oh wow" or other positive responseNormies and/or older people. Back in the day, like pre 60s, these were respected professions. Now, they’re just loser dorks.

younger people will vengefully adopt this mindset as a bitter cope against the pressure their parents/family and peers put on them to get these jobs. What it really comes down to is they think there will be a "victory" moment where everyone who slighted them and their parents who pushed them will applaud and congratulate them and it will be some amazing thing that will last forever. In reality, there is no "win" moment, no one really cares, and you are left with egg on your face knowing you've burnt your life chasing a fictional dream based on the fancies of someone else. Then hall you have left is the practical realities of the job: 60+ hour weeks, on-call, high stress and demands, systemic barriers, etc.
>>61945466ThisI’m not a doctor or engineer but I got a CPA and bought a house in 2019 thinking people would give a fuck but nope lol still a loser.
>>61944059ESLness aside, you're not wrong. You can only feel pity for them, it's a sense of cope for them to validate all the years of waste and advice that their parents or superiors told them to do. "Go to med school", "Do this for 10 years", "Follow this license path for 5+ years". It's pretty dreadful when you realize how they were raised.
>>61947199I don’t even mean this in a “loser!” way until AFTER they think their doctor or engineering job gives them respect. THATS when you know they are losers.
As someone who tried to change careers to engineer and was told the university didn't want adults with degrees getting second degrees, then tried to sell me 'adult improvement classes' like project managemnet I have no use for, the entire "I WORKED HARD" shit is just so fake. They won't let you in, they won't let you compete, and if then you somehow do they'll gatekeep you from the jobs themselves. It's all fake.
>>61947614Working class people competing is so funny. I have worked garbage jobs as a student and seeing grown men in those jobs acting up always makes me chuckle. The modern workforce is such cuckoldry.
>>61947622>working classI literally have a degree, they wouldn't let me in because they said they didn't take adults trying to get a second bachelor's, even though I can't switch to being a semiconductor engineer without an engineering degree.
>>61944018At some point, they will cull all of us who don't add value and that percent is increasing daily.
