Good thing I bought silver
>>61948042Doesn't that make this a good time to slurp? How can you buy low if it never goes down?
The SP500 & NASDAQ appears to be in a topping process since October. They appear to be in the distribution phase. A lot of the insiders are selling, and retail is buying. SP500 & NASDAQ grossly overvalued relative (like most metrics are 95th percentile or higher) to basically any metric historically (Case shiller P/E, P/B, Market Cap / GDP, etc.). I believe studies have shown that whenever the markets get to be this overvalued, the average 10-year return is usually either negative or zero. That’s not to say that there’s no company or pockets of the market that are interesting. Personally I think metals, specifically gold and silver, will do well alongside the miners for the next five years. I also think oil will probably do pretty well as a 2- to 3-year play. More of a risky play that I have is TLT, which is more of a 6- to 12-month play. If the long end of the bond curve comes down due to a recession. Also think PayPal is undervalued.
>>61948070I bought letfs and wish I sold 2 weeks ago.
>>61948323it's because he bought the picobottom of an 80 year bullrun.
>>61950005should have bought reits
>>61950029I'm going to Reip you for constantly spamming reits.
>>61950037He has only 1 post. What is spamming? You're just but hurt that you bought at the top. REITs look good value for money to park money.
>>61949939Yes, buy now, it's surely done bottoming out, there's surely no concerns of a potential market crash on the horizon
>>61950049So then I'll just hodl and slurp some more. If it goes up I sell for profit, if it goes down I buy more. What exactly am I missing here?
>>61950096Could have capital tied up for a decade(s) earning you no returns like after the 2008 crash or the Japanese bubble pop in the 90's
>>61948042>1%It's not that bad>>61950049Just don't go all in. Buy in small packs each day.
>>61950107So then when exactly SHOULD I buy? For all I know it'll moonshot on open monday morning and I'll become a wealthy man.
