And that includes the subset that would never go back to the outdated chain that is bitcoin regardless of price. The vast majority are people just in it for a quick buck, who would leave without a second thought if they lost the hope that crypto could offer that. So sure, it may not literally die, but it could easily go back to four or even three digit price if that happens.
