I work in accounting which isn’t bad but as gay as this sounds the “vibe” makes it unpalatable. Essentially everyone I interact with understands what I do is bullshit and retarded so I basically get stonewalled at every task I have to do. This forces me have to just make shit up so we can shit out financials and kick it up to the parent company for consolidation. Also the company is boomermaxxed so it’s in office 5 days a week, in some old as asbestos fill corporate building with my old lady cube neighbor blaring pop-country music all day.

I have no debt besides a mortgage and could pay off my house if I wanted (my rate is 2.25%). I could leave at anytime but I realize that I’ll be 40 in 9 years and at that point NO ONE will hire some middle age accountant loser, so I have to either retire or build up passive income to the point where I can CoastFIRE.

The plan is work till 40, cash out, transfer wealth to family and go goon in some 3rd world chit hole until I croak under some jungle woman

physician here. I'm doing fine financially but at work I have to do shit like talk to trannies about their hormone meds and even occasionally refill them for other people (i don't start it myself). If I try to redpill a patient about it, there's a high chance they complain and then I have to talk to my boss or even get fired. There's a law here that says I must be "unbiased" which translates to "give people what they want". The average NPC is sickeningly smug and demanding, especially the ones who don't pay for anything because the government does everything for them.

I almost have FU money, so in 5-10 years I might just retire, or go work for myself. I just want to practice real medicine--fixing cuts, curing diseases, giving people real advice, etc.

Luckily on the home front, i'm doing great. awesome chinese wife, 3 kids, dogs/cats/chickens, sweet house, orchard/garden, just put in a new paver patio. Unlimited home canned goods in the garage. Need to quit drinking though. It's just that when you spend all day on BS a couple beers really helps.

Nigga, I had a lesser back problem than you and I still needed 9 months of weekly physical therapy to see moderate results. And I still had to continue doing some of the exercises the rest of the life so far, which js 15 years. And I know each time I start getting back pain its time to start again.

That being said, I also had chronic pain in my main hand for a few years. And because of the succes with the back pain, I also stuck with physical therapy for my hand in all those years, but it did not help in that particular case. My productivity was in the gutter because of it. I changed doctors like 3 times and did 5 operations in total. I was begging doctors to cut off my problem finger.

Eventually I managed to convince the last doctor (with which I already did 2 operations with by then) to just block the finger in an unnatural position, which was contrary to normal practice for my situation, but which I felt it would help. And it did. The chronic pain got away, and I started living my life the full. If that operation would have not work, I promissed my doctor I would come back for the amputation Ive been begging for so long.

Stick with the physical therapy. Even if it will not fix the chronic pain, it will atleast enforce everything in the region to prevent further problems. Meanwhile, search for doctors Or stick with one. After each unsuccessful try, he will be willing for more extreme solutions.
