best place to buy silver out of op post options? looking for good rep good shipping etc.
>>61982834Is it true that gold could go under $3800?
>>61982846for ex. is it unwise to buy silver dimes / quarters when looking for cheap / easy bulk material? Just want some valuable scrap around the house just in case the US gets the 1990's russia treatment and I was thinking a roll or 2 of silver dimes.
Bob here, I hate to flex on the kids here but im a half quart a whisky in. Showing off my culinary skills, Romanian gold i traded for at the scrapyard and some of my custom merch i give to to schmooze government officials. It's the small things. It's why young people cant beat me.
Update: I added another silver note, 4 buffalo nickels, 1 liberty nickel and a morgan dollar.
why is gold and silver behaving like niggers atm?
>>61982851where have you been seeing people talking about gold going to 3800?Banks and governments have been buying the shit out of it

But I'm not directly speaking to you, as I know other silver stacker frens will be reading this, curious as to why the price of gold and silver are dropping even though the world's governments and other institutions are buying. It's because the value of the dollar is increasing. Current events in the middle east are drawing other countries to the liquidity of the USD. On Tuesday next week there will be a major announcement from the US government. The result will either send the price of precious metals way up. Or way down. If they go down. It will provide an amazing opportunity to stack more silver.

wow i just picked up my frensmark from the mailbox i own. when i saw the parcel i was shocked at how prestigous and well done the packaging was. Needless to say, it took me some serious conviction to destroy that beautiful parcel to retrieve the so called "holy grail coin" of my favorite onlinecommunity called /pmg/. I must say, the coin is looking absolutely amazing. the details are delicate, the edges are soft yet clearly defined, the relief of the die feels natural and my god; THE SHINYNESS. It's actually pretty crazy how great the whole coin came out and if i'd be totally fair, at this quality ive gladly wouldve paid even 100$ more for this really unique piece that means so much to me as i want to be significant part of this cool/weirdo online community aswell. This is my ticket and by god, it is the most beautiful and precious ticket. Now i can finally feel like an exclusive member and make fun of those that do not own one (kek). Will post pics later

>>61982851Depends on what happens in the world. Gold in 1980 reached am all time high, and by 1982 it lost 70% of its value. It took until late 2025 to reach the same price again. Buying under such price hikes will just ensure you're in the red for the next half a century.
>>61983797I really hope it does drop by 70%. It'd be nice to more easily buy bigger pieces.
>>61983826Same. Anything above 1200€/oz is a win for me.
>>61983845Still it's interesting a hundred years back the sovereigns, lmus Francs, Ducats etc we're 3 to 7 grams. So sort of the 1/10 to 1/4 size. And even for the wealthy where others used silver or copper that was the sweet spot for storing value in a gold coin. Still the full iz is a really nice chunk of gold. It's just so much fiat value in one coin now.
>>61983856You're a bit mistaken, in the past it was a lot more common to store wealth in the form of jewelry. It had a purpose and it allowed to store wealth. Circulation gold coins were of that size for practicality. Would you feel safe carrying around a banknote worth 10000€? It would be impractical for 99% of the people. My grandparents often bought gold jewelry, but wjen it came for pure wealth preservation they bought 250g gold bars from a local agrarian fund bank.
>>61983860You're not wrong but a lot of governments minted the 1/10 /1/4 sized gold coins. I'm just saying they must have had reasons for choosing those sizes.Of course jewelry and larger bars were used too. I'm also biased:P

Finally posting the full stack before I stock it away. I spent all my (very meager) savings on this during the bullrun a couple months back. I feel I might be too junk heavy but I reached my goal of 60oz (very close to it, once I stabilize again Ill get it via .999)It was a wild ride and I learnt a lot during the process. Hopefully everyone here will make it. Godspeed.

>>61984464Very nice;)
>>61982888Nice collection, what is the small (0.5 gram gold?) capsuled coin? What motive/country/nominal?I got some silver last week, a few Hindenburg 2 Reichsmark 625er/1000 (5 pices, if I remember right) for 12 tEURo each. And some Reichsmark, 900er, Morgan Dollar from 1924, Mexico 1986 Soccer coin, and such. Good price. Also some near 30 different bronce coins, mostly U.K. but for 20 tEURo, but so what. Used a magnet to seperete them from the other copper with steel cores. Also 2x 2 Pfennige bronzce was there, was small edition from 1950-1968. Restof DE Deutsche Mark 1, 2 Pfennige is iron core with copper skin. Was fun how the bystanding Lemmings did stare while I harvested.
I want to start DCAing gold to eventually get another oz then I will start stacking silver again to add 50 oz. Unfortunately, I can only afford 1/10 oz AGE a month. Do you fellas think I should just save up more FedBucks to go for the full oz. of gold or suck it up and DCA 1/10 oz each month? I think time-wise, both options are about the same.
>>61984574I am on the same ship as you. I honestly don't know. I don't see gold going much higher than 5,500 at least in a couple of months. But market is fucking crazy right now. Personally I am stacking fractional because I can't afford 1 oz purchases. Fractional in gold is still quite decent, because premiums are still quite low. I would go for 1/4 instead of 1/10 though, if you can afford it.
>>61984574You can always trade a few 1/10 for a larger piece later. Or switch it up and save for a smaller then a larger piece.
>>619845921/4 oz is possible, but I would have to split it and buy them every couple months or something. What happens to PMs this year is anyone's guess, but I'm a believer in a year-long crabbing of $5,200-5,400 and $78-92 respectively. I almost feel bad for the Platinum bros, there is no sane explanation for how that market "moves".
>>61984597I'm incredibly autismic and would rather have my gold fractionals all be the same size, e.g. all 1/4 oz or all 1/10 oz.
Woah, that's pretty antisemitic Mike. Also where's daily posting Mike?

>>61984430650 euros for 55oz? 12 eur/oz? Of .999? You must have gotten early into the game, lucky you.I bought out of pure FOMO yes, I will admit that. I paid around 3k for the whole thing, sitting at a comfortable ~62 eur/oz considering the circumstances (that is, I don't think it will ever get cheaper than that, at least not for a long time, all the indicators are there)Also a lot of the price is due to junk being bought at a discount. My strategy is to wait for silver to skyrocket again and get rid of the junk (as sexy as it looks :(( ) and buy pure silver, hopefully some gold even, we will see how the future develops.I have a lot of safety nets so I didn't mind blowing my own savings onto getting metal, but I learnt that things will not go the way you think will (I though it was the end of the system as we know right there and then, that I could outjew the jew) and FOMOing is not the wisest of moves in almost any occasion. If not for the safety nets, it would have been very unwise to blow all that money in one go.But in any case Im back on my feet and I have silver, which is nice.
>>61984171BS6ed TKD
The stack is growing.
>>61984734Only 62 euros in Europe, with 21%vat on silver? That's actually quite good. When did you start fomoing?
>>61982972literally and unironically what happened here? whatever they did during the Pink Band, they were able to drive the price of silver DOWN.I suppose one way might have been to frantically call long March/Feb contract holdersand plead w them to roll into April May. To do so, they'd have SOLD their March/Feb contracts and BOUGHT april/may. Maybe COMEX provided some incentive for them to do so. That would have driven DOWN the price of silver for delivery in the front months-- Feb and March -- which are used to determine the spot price. So XAG went down. is there another mechanism that makes sense?
>>61984964One can still get silver VAT/TAX free, if you buy it from private persons, like on a fleamarket/Jumblesale in DE, for example. And the main point is to have/get/own some, the cost are on the 2nd rank, but still try to avoid paying too much at least for the main part of your stacks. ... Got 2x 999/1000 Ounzes silver a year agao fo 55 EUR each, was some 10 to 20 EUR about limit for me but now they are around 80 - 110 EUR and I am fine with that.
>>61984524its a 1/200 gold round made by monarch
Just snagged 1 ounce and 5 silver nickels because that is 1.5% of the amount of silver you need to be a top 20% of all silver holders in the world. $100 investment cannot possibly be that impactful on its own merit. It speaks volumes to just how razor thin the commodity markets are IN RELATION to the fiat-dollary-doos. I just don't want to be the victim of the fiat fallout is all.
>>61985003>Ounzes silver a year agao fo 55 EUR eachThey were 30€/toz last summer. Also, did you calculate shipping in your cost average?
>>61985007I almost got a m8 ti bring some of these from the US. They're neat. And for 30ish euro/ usd id be tempted to collect some. Problem of course us it's so far under even a gram it's 0,15g I think so I really shouldn't:PStill if I were in the US id probably end up getting those here n there as well;)Pic my only 1/200.And I payed 60 euro probably double what you did lol. Still fun though.
>>61985042Shipping was free, as got some 1/2 g gold coins too to better price, so just get 2 silver coins not 10 or more because was too expensive, just get them because have same motive like the gold ones (Falklands/Pinguin) to have two for comparsion. reppa.de has some chepies from time to time, like in January 2021 get 1g gold for 41 EUR each but only 10 EA pro household, so need to hire family members/friends to order more.
>>61984985I've been investing in Gamestop and there is a massive systemic naked short interest (counterfeiting) that is creating squeeze like conditions. They typically an algorithm to trade shares to manage the price. What happens during these halts is likely some sort of recalibration to help the algo maintain control. It may have determined that the price of silver needed to rise to account for margin and supply and other factors. The halts are giving them time to recalibrate it so it can continue to man-handle the price in the range/channels they want it to. As the price rises, it begins to put pressure on the brokers' margin accounts and so they may be recapitalizing on their end or possibly overriding the algo to have it stop looking at risk management factors so it can just do what they want it to do. I am just speculating, but the gist of it is that this happens from time to time where halts completely stop all momentum that the asset was building and out of nowhere. For example, BBBY back in 2023 was experiencing daily moves of 25-120% moves higher. And suddenly on February 6th, it halted and the price action was taken over by a "barcode" algo where the price was force-marched from $6 mid-squeeze all the way down to $0.04. Every single buy order that came in was somehow outsized consistently by sell orders. No matter how many shares were bought, that amount was met with an addition 100 shares sold. Whatever you think of meme stocks is beside the point. Computer control the price and regulatory capture has prevented any sort of oversight. And Wallstreet is openly looting the markets. This is why I keep well over half of my money outside of the financial system because supply/demand is NOT in any way a deciding factor in price.
>>61985081>shipping was freewut? how?
>>61985068mdm.de has got 1/200 gold bars recently left "Unser Sandmänchen" for 29,99 EUR, maybe still has, need to browse his page deep to page 3 or 5. reppa.de had them for 39,99 EUR. Not sure how much they cost now after 2- -3 months. Still expensive but still affordable, 1/200 at 29,99 would be some 5800 EUR pro ounze? Fractionals are mostly bigger in price, they are cheaper at my LCS/used/resale. Man gönnt sich ja sonst nichts.

>>61985145I heard/saw (video) the same too. but usual aslo if a war is raging PMs/demand also is high, even that much that PM coins are stopped to be produced and replaced by zinc, alu, tin etc.. So I also invested in gold too, to sleep better. We will see, soon. Now in DE recruiting propagande is starting, also with focus on females. Bundeswehr is searching for medical staff/national guards to help out, so I think they want to implement duty service again in summer(?), also DE economy should gasp for air in summer, I wonder how long they will try to keep it not collapse.

>>61985083If what you say is true then open interest should have gone up for silver. But it went down.
/pmg/, I just got a box of Nickels from the bank for coin roll hunting and I realized that technically all the nickels have nearly seven cents worth of metal value so I've technically bought $140 worth of Cupronickel for $100 even though it's impossible to realize that value. My question is when I'm done hunting the coins, should I redeposit them or hold onto them for the metal value?

>>61982901you think the jews would just let this happen you absolute retard?shits gonna get crashed down to at least 70 after war bs is over.>>61982957yes they are you complete and total retard
I want gold (and silver) to crash by 70% as I'll biy more, and then it will go up again in fiat value or purchasing power or both:)
>>61985827>after war bs is overYou think the price went up over the last 2 years because of this war in Iran? The war is the only thing keeping it down.EV's and Solar are looking pretty popular right about now, when the war washes over and production is full swing, Silver demand will be at all time highs and supply will be at all time lows.
They can pull all the jew banker shit they like. In 3 or 5 years oil will be oil and worth oil in the money we use then, a phone will be a phone and you'll pay one phone for it. And gold and silver will still be hold and silver. Gold being the thing banks collect aside from fiat papers, fiat bonds, fiat stocks and fiat debts.Point is gold and silver are money so I'll just keep going with that;)
>>61984130you have more silver than the canadian government lol
>>61985860It honestly does not matter one bit in terms of how much the metal fluctuates month to month or even year to year. If you’re making the bet against fiat, you are guaranteed to win in the long term. Unless you need to liquidate or something, it is the comfiest asset to hold.
>>61985882Absolutely.
>>61985851The war had nothing to do with the price but like most things a war ending causes it to become cheaper and more plentiful as it falsely reminds people that life is short and it is better to enjoy life spending than just saving. Boomers who are struggling to sell their homes because they believe the inflated prices are what people are actually willing to pay have to sell their stacks for example.>>61985882this is why I have my stack but I bought at $15 and im not going to subject myself to being cucked at $80Im done buying silver until we get our major crash soon that being said I don't sell my existing silver at all even during obvious moments of peaks like when it was like $120Maybe thats a bad situation but in the event of SHTF I don't have to worry about trying to restock silver

>>61985369>I’m just accumulating what central banks are accumulatingBanks like JP bought another 25 million of ounces of Silver to add to their unknown stockpile levels.Gold is good, but Silver has much more room to move. You can do all your research but here's the Gestalt on why we're all hoarding Silver;>Demand is ever increasing with tech>Mining output is declining>Demand has beaten supply for several years now>Stockpiles are declining and on the cusp of defaulting>70% of "new" silver comes as a by-product of mines targeting other metals (Copper, Zinc, Lead, Tin) so they can't just "Mine more Silver">13% of "new" Silver comes from recycling which has limitations on supply (They haven't been making silverware or candlesticks for a long time, and people buying EV's or Solar etc demand longevity)>It takes an average of 17years to bring a new mine from Discovery phase to Active miningThat's the argument for price change, the secondary reasons are;>It's a lot cheaper (currently) than Gold>More Sellers of more formats>More collectable (numismatic) options (Jewellery, Silverware, Pre-fiat Currency, Bullion)>More fractional variationThank you for reading my blog, please like and subscribe

I'd like to "DCA" into physical precious metals ie buy gold for 200 bucks a month or so, but the premiums for smaller bars and coins are so much higher. Do I just save the money and spend big once a year? Is there a way to buy smaller denominations at lower premiums?

>>61986141Gld
>>61986141200 bucks a month is more of a budget for silver, not gold imo1/4 or even 1/10 oz gold coins add up after a while, and even though you pay more of a premium, the fact that you can buy them slowly over time protects you from harsh price movements. Imagine taking a year to save up $5000 for a full oz only for gold to move up to $6000 in that same year.

>>61986458He didn't. My razor sharp intuition told me it wasn't a scam from the start, and after researching the payment method, I was even more sure. Before they went up for sale, a few people started calling it a scam. Frensmark anon didn't engage with or completely ignored them, which must have made them angry and made them screech even louder. More and more people started calling it a scam, probably to cope with the admittedly high price, until it was impossible to simply talk about the coin in the thread.Unchallenged, "it's a scam" became truth to the sheep too stupid to think for themselves. It is very surprising and disappointing to see in pmg of all places. Most normies, even normies in finance, have called PMs a waste of time and money for so long you would think that a pmger would be immune from just blindly following the majority like that. You outsourced your decision making to screeching copers, and now that the illusion is broken, you're acting surprised? Absolutely pathetic. Take responsibility for your own actions for once.

>>61987453Your mantra is a cope. Why you can't get through to a Trump supporter - there's a scientific reason for that. In 1961, psychiatrist Robert Lifton studied survivors of Chinese communist brainwashing. What he found was cult leaders don't just control what their followers think, they control *whether* their followers think at all. Lifton called it "thought stopping." Here's how it works...The human brain is always scanning for information that might threaten them, so cult leaders preload a response inside of the follower's head. The second a threatening thought appears, a phrase fires automatically and the brain shuts off before the thought can fully form. Trump did it the same way every cult leader does it. Repetition. Say these phrases every single day, attach it to fear or anger. Repeat it until the brain does it automatically. Trump said "fake news" over two thousand times in his first term alone - not because he believed it, but because he was programming a response.Trump preloaded four of these phrases into each of his followers: "fake news," "witch hunt," "deep state," and "TDS." These are their programmed responses. You spend hours building an argument, gathering sources, collecting evidence, making your case, and a Trump supporter kills it with two words before your argument even registers in their brain.Lifton documented the same technique in every cult he ever studied. It works because the followers have no idea it's even happening to them. A Trump supporter genuinely believes they are thinking. Stupid people are easy to program. That's the whole business model.
