Do I just keep paupermaxxing and dumping all my savings into my brokerage account + maxxing my Roth every year?

I save about 2k a month. I’ve become a bit of a stock picking fag, but I want to know if I should just dump the 2k in VT instead of trying to beat the market. My IQ is about 107 and I’m a lazy and unambitious retard so my only “skill” is pauperism

>Roth
>thinking you’ll have the privilege to live to retirement age
Bigger scam than life insurance

Wait until you have 200k and retire in Latin America/SEA/non-EU Eastern Europe.
>nooo I don't want to live in first world
You said "unambitious" right there. Pick the easy life or continue to struggle the rest of your life, up to you

That's my plan as well, I thought I would need 300 or 400k though, do you reckon 200k is enough?
>>
>>61995637
120k is literally nothing
>>

Market is overinflated. Just buy 5,000 Link for 40k. And your rich by 2028 at most.

1. Subtract your current age from average life expectancy age
2. Workout an inflation adjusted annual budget based on the lifestyle you want in the country you want to live in
3. Multiply the cost from 2 by the years in 1
4. You now have how much money you’ll need to live there indefinitely, or at least some sort of approximation

200k is enough for soft retirement, let it stack up whilst you work part time remote or some shit

Test.

Retirement accounts should be in index funds or retirement date funds, especially for midwits.
If you're all ready maxing out your 401k and IRA and have anything left over, you can gamble with that.

I’m only maxxing out my Roth. ~2k goes in my brokerage
>>
>>61995750
Usually you want to max out tax advantaged accounts first.
Are you at least getting the full employer match from your 401k?
Are you saving for any big purchases like a house?

Meant for you

how is 200k enough to retire in SA wtf that is nothing are u gonna live in the ghetto in some third world shitthole lmao
>>
>>61995677
200k should be enough to be a poor NEET without a family. If you want to be well off with a family, I'd say even in second world that starts at 500k

>are u gonna live in the ghetto in some third world shitthole lmao
Better to retire in a cheap shithole than work in an expensive shithole
>>
>>61995716
Do stinkies really
>>
>>61995663
Basically my plan, desu. Moving to D.R. or Mexico City in my 40s and done with this shit.
>>
>>61995716
Silence, jam jeet.
>>

200k with a two bucket strategy (60% voo, 40% bonds) is 650$ a month, which is above minimum wage in a lot of countries.

you'll be dead before 50.
>>
>>61996653
Yeah, no way I'm retiring in a big city in Latin America. Asia is a lot safer
>>
>>61996719
Yeah, I'd go Asia. Hopefully I develop jungle fever at some point. Currently I only like white girls.

Do you own a house? First, you should buy yourself a place to live.
