Bitcoin will never drop below the amount it costs to mine. Which is in the 60k region right now.
It probably won't over inflate itself to twice that value ever again, but there's literally a trillion USD in the system right now, and about 30bn traded daily. It won't die.

no
that chart is in log scale and goes up way too fast.
red line should be near top of cycle and not just explode. cycle will go up slower than the last and in the end it will just be one line of red and purple that goes up slow.

when bitcoin is fully matured it will have golden cycle witch is just endless bullrun but its slow and steady not a rocket up

In the west with our current insane power costs, sure. Meanwhile chinks are mining at 30-50k, and ruskies at 40-60k. The bigger game being played here is drawing as much USD liquidity as possible into China and Russia's coffers. What else did you think was going on here?

don't act like you know something you don't.
90% of cost comes from ASIC that is only useful maximum of few years. If power is free you still pay over 70k calculated from hashrate on new machines and old ones can't win blocks as much as hashrate of machines goes up so fast.

Best ASIC and chinas $0.10 / KWH could make you under $4 a day. there are sill costs on top of that like cooling, in bigger farms employees and you just cant get the best price if any machine at all as these machines are made in smaller patches.
If you have older ASIC your profit is negative and that will happen to all miners. in 6-12 months best ASIC loses money in "normal" state but we are in bear and that will be much worse. Only in bullrun you can make profit but in any other time miners just accumulate and hold untill bullrun happens. thats why we see selloffs at same times on cycle as miners sell to get better gear for bullrun.

BTC will bottom out near $40k

I’m pretty sure it went below the mining cost in the last bear year

For a few hours at most.

It was four months

And the downward pressure will be even more this time because unlike 2022, miners can now pivot to selling ai compute time to make money

I'm enjoying the volatility with BTCI. May it forever crab around 70k.

I wish it would go down to 40k so I could slurp but I'm afraid 60k is the worst, especially with this stupid war.
