Why are things so quiet? We have barely moved for 2 days. And it's a friday, fridays are always messy. I feel like something's up. The fact that Trump didn't have a temper tantrum but tried to calm things down on a friday, it tells me things are getting really bad.

The forces needed to solve the Strait of Hormuz problem are still on their way and will take several days/weeks to arrive in the theater. Too bad he didn't think this through, and didn't listen to the briefings that every presidnet has been getting weekly for the last 45 years (tldr Iran WILL close the Strait of Hormuz). The marines could already be there if he had thought of it a few weeks earlier.
