lol

hrm so if I start with 700k and put it in when the market is rebounding from a crash, I can make 1.4 million dollars/ Thanks OP I see where I fucked up now!

I don't know what you mean. Can you explain?
>>

Sure, pay me a 2% fee and I'll advise you.

I started with 40k in 2017. I've added to it by saving 80% of my salary each year to try and FIRE and mostly just holding QQQ and SPY and buying dips during covid.

>70 year ponzi scheme
do you hear yourself
>>
>>62018817
Do you not understand what a demographic bomb is?

Yeah the stock market is a ponzi scheme, just like a pension plan and social security.
>>
>>62018792
Yes definitely you timed the bottom perfectly thanks for your amazing story that everyone on /biz/ posts.
>>
>>62018836
Don't believe me if you want. Im just lucky but the stress is too much and I'd be happier not having to constantly manage it.

Does anyone have any actual advice?

Also, the last year it's doubles. It was under 500k at the start of 2025 and it just grew alot the last year. Im kinda worried Im gonna lose it all from the crazy growth and I don't know how to sell without a huge tax bill.

for the past 70 years two and a half generations of useful idiots known colloquially as the Boomer, Silent Gen and GenX have failed to reproduce, instead they wörked like retards, and paid monthly on average 1500 dollar into various ponzi schemes, from 401ks over social security to boxes. Since late 2025 a majority them has turned from paying monthly into various ponzis into taking out of various ponzis, that means the majority of positive cashflow into ponzis turned to a net negative. Neither Millenials, no GenZ nor GenA is ever going to match the retardation of paying monthly the amount into ponzis as the most useful idiot generations did; they have no incentive and they frankly miss the numbers.

Some baggies might screech
>b-but the gubermint is going to hyperinflate the currency and make my bag go number up
and that might be on paper true to some degree, but in reality the demand for greater fools is not matching the offer of greater fools, that means number go down for probably the next 50 - 80 years

and that is not accounting for the 300T in debt on a planetary scale that are not covered

Financial advisors will universally fuck you. If you really need to stop trading yourself, I’d probably find a diversified mix you’re comfortable with and leave it alone. Right now cash heavy is not a terrible position. There’s going to be a lot of volatility in stocks this year and we’re probably headed for a bear market. Will be a good time to have cash and buy smart stuff. Tech, crypto including Bitcoin and software are probably not going to recover well so be cautious.
Listen to Michael Howell, you can find several good interviews on YouTube. His macro thesis is probably the best out of anyone.

ahahahahahaha

I don’t know what he’s shilling although he does have a paywall for his personal newsletter or whatever but I’m not suggesting anyone pay for it. Just listen to what he says about the liquidity cycle because he does know what the fuck he’s talking about and I can’t explain it as well as he can.

>don't know how to sell without a huge tax bill
The maximum Long Term Capital Gains tax rate in the US is iirc 20%. Do you expect the market to fall more than 20%?
No - Don't worry about it. Just a minor market correction. You haven't lost any shares and the price for those shares will rebound soon enough.
Yes - Sell and taxes be damned. The amount you'll lose in taxes is less than the amount you'll lose from the market crash. Buy back in at the bottom and enjoy watching the recovery make you 10x wealthier.
