I know its a bear market, but it is just me, or does it feel like people just dont give a fuck about crypto anymore, in a different way compared to previous bear markets. The mystique of crypto is completely gone. Feels like AI has done massive damage to crypto, in terms of mindshare and attention.
>>62019557The rugpulls ruined it.It's over for internet funny money. Was fun while it lasted but time to move on.
>>62019557It doesn't do anything.
>>62019557Are normies moving on? Yeah, but crypto isn't over. We'll lose some value, but the memes die when we let it. I personally will never sell my DOGE coin no matter what (unless my dream comes true and it reaches 1$ a coin, then I may sell to buy a mansion, but I digress).
>>62019575dont forget CZ and friends liquidating leverage degens like crazy. Essentially all of the money in crypto got hoovered up and people have given up, and new money is not interested at all.
>>62019557It's just you I guess. Past bear markets were way more brutal than this one. It's literally nothing (yet).
>>62019705yeah but the upside was much better from the preceding bulls. this bullrun sucked, that's why people are much more upset
theres no mystique anymore because everyone learned the hard lesson that even some good concepts don't get rewarded. The only thing that will make money is shit being used in a boring institutional way. Maybe 10y down the road, people will be building cool stuff on some global L1 that is the defacto blockchain for everything
>>62019705>Past bear markets were way more brutal than this one.No they weren't. You weren't around if you think that.Crypto from 2015-2024 was amazing and there were 2 bear markets during that time from 2018 and 2022 and it never stopped being fun and the ability to make crazy tier gains was still very possible now the only people making money are KOL's rugging 10k market cap toppers on solana 100 times per day and pretty much nobody else besides those who are yield farming 7 figures in stables, but then again, they already made it
>>62019557we're all on "acceptance" phase.
Crapto has outlived its shiny new toy phase and shockingly it turns out that after all these years all the narratives and future promises failed to materialize. There simply is nothing left for crapto to do that has not already been done and failed at.
>>62019705I feel like it's only bitcoiners with no sense of reality who say this. There is next to zero enthusiasm about all aspects of crypto, bitcoin included, you just don't grasp it because you've never actually engaged with any of these systems and can't tell that sincerely no one gives a fuck anymore. No one is coming to buy your bags.
the issue is the "launchpad" added so many thousands of new tokens in 2025 thanks to the pump dot fun craze that later led to virtuals et al just spamming nonstop useless junk under the guise of ai. "community" requires a shared coin. that was defi 2.0. now its tao. but good luck telling the evm maxi that.
>>62019557>I know its a bear marketIt literally isn't.>does it feel like people just dont give a fuck about crypto anymoreNo it literally doesn't feel like that. Michael Saylor is buying like 50k BTC a month.
>>62019557Fudders win again, they've done massive damage to these globohomo shitcoins and possibly crypto as a whole.
