Worked for a client based in Portugal last year (football business). There’s an outstanding amount of $55k that hasn’t been paid. Payment has been delayed since June with repeated promises but no resolution.

There is a signed contract, but jurisdiction is set in Lisbon. Since I’m in Brazil, pursuing legal action there would be costly and time-consuming.

What would you do in this situation? Any advice is appreciated. I'm developer

cant you just hire some favela monkeys to swim there and rough him up for like $150?
>>
Why are you financing 55k worth of goods/services to an international client?
>>
>>62023102
oh my nigger

you're supposed to partially provide the product or lock it behind some sort of license that requires activation or something. international means you've been cucked beyond belief. it's over bro.
>>
Eat the legal fees to try and get what you're owed or learn from the experience and don't repeat it.
Making it public to try shame whoever into paying is possible option too I guess. Have no idea whether that shit would work for your situation
>>
Portuguese here, you're fucked, trying to go after them in Portuguese courts could take years.

Why the hell would you do that

Just let it go, portuguese law doesn't work.
Also share the client/company you worked for so none of us get scammed

Oh meu deus, agora ficamos a dever todo o ouro mais 55k. Venham mais dois milhões de macacos para compensar.

pay a few grand for someone to go collect that debt
sometimes all it takes is people being reminded that you both live in reality not on the phone, a dude asking about the debt in person will make them move a little quicker
And if it doesn't work, either give up having spent less than a lawyer, or go for the intimidation and violence route (obviously could turn out badly)

buy a plane ticket, fly to lisbon, find some algerians, give them the promise of more to come, send them to his house
