Stop betting on the price of oil to go up. If oil goes up enough for you to make money that'd be a disaster for everyone. But even if the price of oil stays the same or even if it goes down a bit oil companies will make more money. That could translate to more buybacks and dividends

Iran will likely never fully recover from a military or leadership standpoint but when all they need to do is send a few drones to hit a ship or two, they know that's their best bet to be considered a threat, even if their navy and air force is now non-existent. The only issue remains is how to stop that. Personally I would nuke them to submission but Trump is too soft for that sort of thing and would prefer a negotiated settlement if possible.

Hell, they elected a new supreme leader within the week. They have been preparing for this war for a long long time, they knew exactly how to respond with no time wasted after America/Israels regime change attempt. Their military capabilities are still there, it likely won't be the same as before because clearly their navy and air force aren't what is giving the country its strength right now. If those weren't viable options in this war, why should they reinvest? Their military system is still there and very strong. If America capitulates to their demands, Iran will walk away with a lot of money, plenty to rebuild whatever was lost. Not to mention support from their allies as well.I've done my fundamental analysis on this war and the most likely endgame scenarios has America walking away a total loser.
