If you do the math using listed stocks and ETFs with large Spacex holdings like Echostar and DXYZ you'll find that the public values Spacex anywhere between $2.5 and $3 trillion. Debuting in a bear market at $2 trillion is just a way for Spacex to soften the on-ramp to avoid panic sales. To be clear, I'm not necessarily a fan of Elon or particularly fanatical about Spacex.
