Serious question. Will just talk about bitcoin here cause that was the easiest.>become aware of bitcoin in 2013 at peak of the bull, not everyone but most Redditors or 4channers would have been aware>do a bit of reading, see there weren't any truly convincing arguments against it, like there was stuff of concern but nothing which strongly suggested it was going to go to 0 and not recover>see the historical performance and realise if it came anywhere close you could easily make massive returns>go for it and wait, or if really high IQ notice the cyclical pattern early and make an ungodly amount timing thatI timed it terribly initially, didn't buy/sell the cycle (until most recent one where sold at $110k) and became a millionaire 1 year ago at 26. The only thing I did really well was invest a tonne into it for a 19yo (£25k self made). If you are 30 or older it was straight up trivial and you didn't even need to do this.Yet when you look around it is so rare for anyone to have made serious money from it despite the massive awareness and accessibility. Seriously when I sold and rang the bank for high value transfer the lady said she has never saw anyone with as much as me at only £1 mil.

>>62038964We ve got rugged by a faggott.
I think most rich people keep to themselves and aren't loud so that's probably why you think there aren't many of them.
>>62038964Im currently 18 and made 10 million from fartcoin (self made). You dont see me bragging but im here to shit on the parade heh
>>62038964>be little 15 years shithead>have too much time on my hands>someone on 4chan posts about bitcoin and how it will "revolutionize everything">bitcoin is 105$ at the time>start reading into it>start reading into current monetary system>start reading into "Satoshi Nakamoto" aka the CIA>start reading into the whitepaper and blockchain>realize in few years time the elite will shift over to crypto and this is just a next step in their way of control>tell my dad to make a loan in the bank and put it in bitcoin>"dad, I will be your slave and work tirelessly to give you back 300% even if the investment flops">show charts>give hour long presentations>he just listens and says "nah">am 30 now>bitcoin is 70k now>my father regularly says "I should have listened to you"listen to me now you shitheadsby MVRV z score and rainbow log chart there is no better time than todaycouple that with fall of petrodollar, rising inflation and shifting geopolitical power, introduction of CBDCs and myriad of other problems like strait of Hormuz fuck me if btc will not be 300k by the end of the year (minimum)In 2 years time? 1.5 mill a bitcoin
>>62038964>25k>19>"self made"just scanned your post but I already know you're the fag who spams 50 copypasta paragraph "I just inherited 1.2 million, why is everyone else so poor" type faggot threads a day. Stop clogging up the catalog, cuck.
>>62038985But why didn't you buy afterwards? It was going for $1k or less until you were like 20, you could easily have just got some McJob and chucked it in instead of relying on parents.>>62038986All me bud, it's not easy but didn't require massive brainpower all you had to do was grind and save hard. My mother was on bennies/unemployed most my childhood. In USA probably much easier to accomplish too.
>>62038985>fuck me if btc will not be 300k by the end of the yearlooks like fucking is in your future
>>62039007I was a poor fuck until I hit 28I live in a second world countryliterally all my money went to survival until last 2 years>>62039016screencap it and when year ends i will drop my address so you can personally come and buttfuck me, you faggot
>>62038964Basically boomers/older ppl don't like higher risk investments (yes, crypto) and would rather buy bonds or something faggy like that. Young people were either too poor, young, or stupid to get in in 2013.
>>62038964>go for it and waitThis right here is/was the issue.. It requires some serious conviction or delusion to hodl through all these years. To get to a million, you have to hodl through ½ million, which most people that didn't drank the coolaid wouldn't be able to.No casual crypto investor would have made it, it was all laser eyes or people that otherwise believed in it.
>>62038964>If you are 30 or older it was straight up trivialthanks you, captain hindsight>be early 2013, watch max keiser talk about bitcoin.>shut up and take my money!>try to buy with credit card or paypal>hurr durr you cant, but you can buy thru secondlife paying a massive premium.>yeah naw.wmf>try bitstamp they ask for id>send id>now proof of residence>send bank statement.pdf>no, it needs to be a scan of a real document>fuck this .binlater that year i ended up forging an energy bill and they accepted that, right in time for me to buy the top.welp, my consolation is that i held and didnt sell at the 200 usd bottom.
>>62038964Because getting rich from the comfort of your room excludes all the typical humiliation rituals you have to go through to make money in real lifeIt's too good to be true
>>62038964I had about 2k BTC in 2010 from mining on my home computer. I was a teenager so I got fed up with not being able to play my video games and stopped. I eventually reformatted my HDD to make room for games.Long story short I watched every bull run and seethed instead of just buying in. Hell I even remember seeing litecoin for pennies and ignored it thinking it'll go nowhere. Same with ETH. I've just watched and the massive crashes only reinforced that. Good thing for me to think about is, if I kept my BTC I would have at best sold it at like 4 dollars because 8k is a lot to a late teenager. That's why most (all?) people who once owned BTC are not millionaires. You would have to be literally brain damaged to hold that shit for 15 years.
>>62038964There are way more millionaires from crypto on this board than you realize. And a lot of millionaires have also left this board, as they don't need to put money into risk-on assets anymore
>>62044552Yeah, I doubt many would hold at $1000 instead of selling.
>>62038964>flaunting your wealth in a worsening economyOften a bad idea.>millionaireOften not considered worth flaunting by those who have that much since they need to/want to aim higher by then.
>>62038964>I won money gambling.Yeah I became a millionaire via inheritance.
>>62038964>would have been awareYou're "aware" of an asset that will 100x over the next decade right now. Why aren't you buying it? Because you don't know which one it is, exactlyI only bought BTC on covid lows because I was looking to diversify my folio and crypto looked like a great way to do that. I was aware of it, I didn't know it would go up
>>62038964Bitcoin is the hardest if you are at all interested in the technology and how it can reshape society. Like myself, you would have sold your BTC fork dividend immediately for Bitcoin. Only the lowest iq people and scammers would have held the dividend fork. It's been a hilarious and wondrous experiment. Bitcoin doesn't have to make me rich for it to succeed and it's enemies are still far too strong for it to change society for the foreseeable future.
>>62038964A lot were made, anon… they just lost custody and never recovered. Exchanges, keys, trusting the wrong people.. poof, gone. That’s why trustless Bitcoin vaults will be a huge topic.
