What's going to replace the US dollar? I don't think we'll get the PetroYuan at least any time soon even in this generation, it's more likely we'll be going back to Gold and Silver standards as the entire economy sharts itself.

Didn't they say in Agenda 2030 or the Great Reset or something that we're switching to Central Bank Digital Currency?

CBDCs
This is obviously controlled demolition, US empire is on exit door for long time now. CBDCs, IDs to verify identity using any and all OS, constant CCTV monitoring.... we are going to a cyberpunk dystopia but without cool augments
That's why Elon and Trump had love hate relationship, because it was about this

The USD chart looks bullish to me actually, honestly the whole Iran situation is big bullish for the dollar imo, it's completel.y fucking voer the energy markets in Americas largest competitors, Asia and Europe, meanwhile the US has just started receiving large amounts of oil from Venezuela and is already energy independent.

There's not enough gold and silver in the world to replace the dollar. Physical metals just don't work at the scale and speed that the world needs.
I do feel like there has to be something, some invention, that could solve the medium of exchange issue for world trade so that countries don't have to rely on a single nation's economy and its currency to be able to trade with each other. Some economist will invent it at some point in the future and everybody will be like how didn't we think of this earlier.

>There's not enough gold and silver in the world to replace the dollar

This never made sense to me, if there's not enough then you just make it really expensive and divide it into smaller amounts like with BTC right?

I think you want to be able to produce new currency when it's needed, otherwise, there won't be enough money in the system to go around and economic growth slows. If this sounds hand-wavy, it's because I don't understand it properly myself. Also, you can't instantly wire 5 tons of gold between banks like you can with currency. You have to fly it to the destination bank, which takes time, money, and exposes the gold to theft, which means you have to hire heavy security, which increases cost.

This literally wouldn't work because of shit like conflict minerals and general 3rd world. How are the Africans mining coltan in the middle of an ethnic genocide for Semiconductor Inc. going to get paid in Dem.Congo with digital stuff.

Bro, even if the central banks wanted to use crypto, they'd just pick one and clone it. They're not going to pay you anything for your imaginary internet funny money.

Nothing, everyone else is in a worse off state than the US with massive demographic bubbles and they're inflating their way out.

Government backed stablecoins
Have you not been following the news over the past couple years? Every major economic market is trying to kill money and circumvent banking to achieve total control.

The usd value is the result of a trust engine. The moment the qorld stops trusting it as a reserve and/or trade currency, it will become argentinian peso-tier. They are going to have a worse currency devaluation spiral than the late roman empire.

Gold and silver are not feasible as a form of currency in a world of 9-10b people.
It's almost certainly going to be some form of digital currency, likely in the form of CBDC's.
>>
>>62039580
>What's going to replace the US dollar?
Last time I checked, the US dollar was just a specific weight of silver or gold, I think your reference is to the Federal Reserve's notes
>>
>>62040674
why would the government create stablecoins, that would be retarded as fuck, if anything the government would actively ban stablecoins (like china) or just tolerate their existence (like USA)
>>
>>62039580
>What's going to replace the US dollar?
Nothing. It's over.
Sure they will try to replace it with some CBDC, but it will only delay the inevitable.
