I am on Win11, and I recently renamed my headphones through the Settings app. That's it, just renamed them. Windows for some reason disabled them entirely, and I had to manually reenable them by digging through 5 menus to find the right setting. It's beyond garbage, I'm only using Windows because of gaming, but Steam runs on Linux too, so even there MS is losing its edge.
