Ai is the last invention humanity will ever need.
90% of jobs will no longer exist in 10 years
Every field will experience an exponential growth unparalleled to any other time in history
Climate change will be solved.
Fusion energy will be solved.
Cancer will be solved.
Supply chain will be solved.
Humanity will not be the most intelligent entities on the planet anymore.

It's coming.

The last time the AI crashed it led to
>the end of all logic based AI research
>abandoning Lisp and Lisp machines (the programming language used for the AI research); it's used for other stuff
What's gonna lead to this time?
>the end of all neural networks research
>abandoning of Python (the programming language used for the AI research); it's going to be used for other stuff
>the disappearance of all no video output GPUs
Any other ideas?

It's hard to see how Sora could have been anything other than a stunt to drive more engagement. They opened themselves up to massive liability with the amount of copyrighted content and slanderous material using people's likeness that the platform generated. It was a massive lawsuit waiting to happen. I think the plan was always to shut it down and use it for a short time to attract investors. Now that OpenAI has the money they are building stuff that will make sense for B2B clients. The slop was just to get their name out there.
>>
>>62049764
Lol AI research and Python aren't going to be abandoned because OpenAI fails to pay some bills.

AI isn't going to crash in the first place. Google, Nvidia, and Amazon are profiting from it and will continue to profit from it. Microsoft, OpenAI, and Anthropic might take some L's but they were always a distraction in the first place. Google has always been and will continue to be the best game in town for AI.
>>
>>62048658
thats not what price says dumbass nigger
>>
>>62050131
NVDA is a better long than tsm this analysis i posted is wrong btw the fvg is filled so scratch it
>>
Here’s what actually happened since youre all high on doomer copium

Anthropic just spent a shit ton of compute time training their biggest model ever as an experiment. It paid off big time and releases next month. OpenAI heard about this and was unprepared; they don’t have the compute to make a competitor. But if they shut down Sora, they would. And that’s where things stand rn
>>
>>62047331
this kinda makes sense. so much sense that shorting might actually be a good idea...

>>62049764
>What's gonna lead to this time?
if you consider what openai did to sora, I'd guess LLMs will still be a thing but video creation will not.

>>62050181
>Anthropic just spent a shit ton of compute time training their biggest model ever as an experiment. It paid off big time and releases next month
how did it pay off if it hasn't even been released? kek.
also, Anthropic is still losing money.
>>
>>62050237
Paid off as in, “holy shit this test model is twice as smart as our last big one. Let’s ship it asap”
>>
>>62050257
>he belives the bullshit """AI""" companies tell the public
yeah, I heard openai say they almost reached AGI so many times that I couldn't keep count. yet people complained that their lattest models were worse, shittier than their previous ones lmao
>>
The main problem with Sora was that it was given away for free to millions of people. AI video isn’t really prohibitively expensive; with a high end graphics card anyone can do it on your home pc
>>
>>62049764
Programming languages will become irrelevant, specification and verification languages/systems will take over.
Neuro-symbolic AI will triumph, i.e. 90% diffusion with 10% logic/transformers controllers.
>>
>>62050300
Not really, local video gen is still crap even compared to sora.
>>
>>62047337
Uber had like 23 rounds of funding, why can't these companies sustain themselves in the fake and gay economy?
>>
>>62050181
Thanks for the press release. Here's what actually happened: Seedance and Kling made Sora obsolete and OpenAI didn't want to commit to training a competitive model because it was prohibitively expensive for them. So it left the market entirely and issued a cope statement to save face
>>
>>62049896
AI and copyright has already been settled multiple times in court now, it's not copying so therefore you can use material from online. Unless you're mentioning specific names and trying to sell stuff it's not an issue to make it on its own.
>>
>>62049896
Correct take. I have no read on whether the ai bubble is popping or not but sora being sunset is like an upstart sandwich shop discontinuing a BOGO deal. It was always just a flashy and impractical way to drive onboarding and brand recognition. If OAI ever makes a profit it's going to be from automating workers or driving robots, not from letting normgroids make fake doorcam videos of cats shooting sniper rifles. Anyways the new local video models are getting better every day and you can do a ton of what sora could do on your own pc now.
>>
>>62047540
What if people didn't vote for the trannycrats, but voted for a Third Party that actually has good policies?

The consumer grade doesn't have to make money for a long time. If it proves it can time trades correctly then the enterprise clients will stay. They can float on that for years while they try waifu ideas and what not and see what sticks with the the consumer maket.

The only bubble here is that retard Sam Altman. He’s convincing retards like Bezos and Gates to invest heavily in little nuclear energy fusion reactor grids as the next, big sexy thing in tech when huge solar panel plants can deliver way more energy with innovations in battery recycling and longer lasting tech like solid state batteries that are relying less and less on chink minerals. Elon and Tesla can’t stop laughing at Sam

AI is already here, i don't know a single person not somehow using it, we use it at work, people use it at home

everybody is crying about this deal but I can't find any chart that actually shows any reasonable drop of RAM prices.

If you are waiting for and need AI to succeed to be relevant you won't win when it does.
You can be relevant on your own terms, get a chicken coop or something. AI can tell you how to take care of them and you'd actually be doing something positive for you, and possibly your surrounding community.
Also commodity investing in the non-precious metals that semiconductors need is a better play than AI itself.

Let me tell you a story before you lose everything, instead of after.
The company NKLA is fraudulent. IF you dont know the story I dont mean that as an exaggeration; no product & no revenue. A criminal enterprise.
I shorted it & lost money.
Because the stock markets a scam too.

So yes, AI is fake and gay. So what?
If your plan is to "short it"; you will get wiped out by the crooks on Wall St. You need more sophisticated strategies.

The key point is that Ai companies like OpenAi operate at a massive loss, which is observably true. The entire Ai industry rests on pure hype.
>b-but coding agents are getting less retarded by the month!
If the only tangible thing that has come out of an industry after years of iteration and hundreds of billions in investments are productivity tools - by all conceivable metrics that industry is fucking cooked.
