How the fuck are normies affording shit, i’m decent after maxing 401(k) and roth but how come normies have all these nice cars/vacations. I’m so confused.
Debt. All of it is debt
>>62050645Normies are socially accepted and so they get high paying easy jobs. Only incel losers work hard low paying jobs and are suffering. The normie caste are living their best lives
>>62050647Yep, watch some caleb hammer videos, well some might have nice boomer relatives or are scumbag scammers or cock/ass suckers with no dignity
>>62050692This. I hate to admit it, but normies won for the most part.
>>62050730We live in a normie world controlled by Jews and they both hate us autists
>>62050645This new thing called credit cards
>>62050645>put $5k a year less into 401k and Roth>you can now afford nice vacations and upgrade your carWow so difficult
>>62050645Credit. The credit crunch cometh.
>>62050645Their boomer relatives. I as a zoomlet pseudo autist spent thousands on shitcoins this way and lost it all.
My salary is average but my boomer parents are okay, they bought me a house and send me 1k euros a month. So without having to pay rent and, my salary and those 1k euros, I can enjoy my hobbies and travel every now and then. Nothing fancy but it's comfy. I live in a city with a huge airport, so I can visit most Euro cities for peanuts.
>>62050645they put 5% into their 401k and the rest goes to paying off debt
>>62050645>how comeDebt. Unless they're in their 50's and above, in which case they could be actually rich. A decade of DCA'ing during the 2000-2010 crab market followed by 20 years of a bull market can do that. Or maybe they invested a few thousand in tesla or apple or nvidia or netflix, that would do it as well. But most likely it's debt.
>>62050645Debt maxxing, drug dealing and prostitution. Your average normalfaggot is a degenerate faggot in the west.
Because they have high paying office jobs and are having regular sex. Imagine sipping matcha while making 200k knowing you're going to have sex later that night. It's never happening for you. Pleasure is so far away from you.
From my experience, most people my age (31) gain infinite advantages over people like me from their parents/family. The truth is unless you have a family that can help you out all the time you are shafted these days.t. germanIt's especially bad here
>>62051951This. I'm one of them.I have the stereotypical boomer parents with a few rented properties around the city. They let me live in one of them paying half of the rent. So my shitty salary is enough for saving and traveling.Without this advantage I would just work to eat and pay rent.I also bought BTC at 4k so sometimes I sell a few thousand
>>62051951True but only implicitly like>>62052016or do you actually know people getting money for vacations from their parentsFor real estate its especially bad, i dont think theres a single one in that age that can afford a home without some kind of help from their familyt. german
>>62051951>>62052016>>62052037Bros, this is hard cope.If you apply yourself, corpomaxx and focus on demanded skills it's very accessible.the only reason I didn't dip in RE is because I think it's a stupid ROI.
>>62050645>but how come normies have all these nice cars/vacations.i lived at my parents house for 2 years and that rent alone invested let me buy a nice car cash and like 4 big vacations
>>62050645What makes a normie a normie is that they never question anything and just do what other people around them do. They don't question why they at paying car payments is bad or if going to Disney world with their 1 year old child so they can post in on tiktok is a good idea because that's what everyone else is doing. They have never had a time where they have to be introspective about anything. They are subhuman in that respect.
>>62050647Yes>>62050645The average debtmaxxed retard lives a lifestyle that's like 2-3 times what they really can afford. This is also why said normies are baffled seeing someone worth several millions of dollars living not that much better than them. The cost of living that way, RESPONSIBLY, after taxes, drawing down from just the returns on investments so one can do that forever without drawing down the principle really means you can only live so large!
>>62052234Correct. Basically it means these people often do get fucked in retirement and end up eating dog food as they are totally reliant on social security checks to make ends meet. But they're also fatasses so maybe they drop dead at 65 and no one cares. At some point if easy money dries up from the Fed or the job market gets fucked all these normies will have a fundamental reckoning.>>62050730>>62050720Basically watching Caleb Hammer it's wild how minimal consequences there are for being debtmaxxed. Like people can make minimum payments, open more cards, reconsolidate debt, forget about the debt, eventually declare bankruptcy and kinda do it all again in another couple of years. Yes they've fucked over retirement, generational wealth, but on the other hand they've gotten to live in a perpetual cruise ship life of colorful drinks, new iPhones and cool cars.
>>62051857This guy is right: a lot is from shady shit.Outright criminality yes, but more from being downstream from government graft. When you see the size of all the govt appropriations, you gotta consider that it goes somewhere. Fake jobs is a big one. Go into NGO adjacent job, drink coffee and do 10 minutes of work a day, get paid 6 figures. A person I know gets big bucks for financial forecasting, she doesn't understand it at all, but she Stoops the boss, who is a nepo veep who may or may not actually realize he is a front for government propaganda arm.Did you know that in some states, you can get 1000+ bucks a week for babysitting your families kids, while they do the same for yours. All this is trickle down to keep the economy and banks from collapsing.
>>62050645>>62050647^ See thisThis is also why I give zero (0) fucks about normies, or anyone in debt.
>>62052304>she Stoops the bosswtf does "stoops" mean in this context?
>>62052121Meh of course most are just coping, but even corpomaxxing its nearly impossible to buy RE yourself without a partners income or significant capital>ROII have a house to bring up my children
>>62052328Makes a baby
>>62051943Sex becomes as mundane as fapping when you do it enough, especially with just one person.
>>62052121>If you apply yourself, corpomaxx and focus on demanded skills it's very accessible.I'm extremely autistic and although I can cope because I'm somewhat functional, masking to be even average, let alone likeable is extremely tiring even if I'm quite technically skilled.
>>62052340>I have a house to bring up my childrenyeah I know it's just because I'm an autistic solo dude, if I could do it solo, you can do it with a wife granted you have 2 average salaries. And I live in a very high cost of living city.>>62052729If you're truly above average IQ you should try to become a subject matter expert, some of the most brilliant ones I've met are very caustic with normies, people just tolerate it and manage their output in front of customers if they ever need to go there.Autists have a spot.
>>62050645>401k Enjoy being able to maybe use that money when you turn 70
>>62052280>Caleb HammerJust found out about this. Crazy the way some people live. But like you said maybe they've gotten it right. I should have spent my 20s debtmaxxing like Sam Hyde said instead of being rich at 30. I would have lost 10 years financially speaking but gained a lifetime of priceless experiences and not been khhv. It would take me until 40 to get rich again but that might have been worth it.It's funny though, no matter what I don't think I could have kids by 30. If I debtmaxxed I wouldn't be financially prepared and no one wants to have kids with a 30yo khhv.
>>62050647This is why you shouldn’t ever feel bad about them, especially as all their consooooming is going to get more expensive
>>62050692thisit's a normal society built by and for them
>>62051951>>62051435>37yo>make decent money and frugal lifestyle which allows me to travel a few months regularly >65yo dad is wealthy thanks to his parents who always supported him and gave him an appartment and shit>he's stingy as fuck and will die with his millions >his parents still giving him money constantly so they get rid of it before they die>I don't think I'm entitled to his money at all and never asked, but feels weird sometimes >I'm now stuck in Asia and it might be rough to come back>he writes to me that I really need to get back home on time so I can take care of his cats (for free) during the weeks he'll be abroadGuess I'll be rich too at 65 when I get his money but I won't have time to spend it. I'll just sponsor a few bands and artists I guess.
>>62054397And when he’s 70 he’ll probably be beaten to death by a nigger in a retirement home (assuming he’s american)
>>62056249>>62052321>>62052241>>62050720As long as they get away with it they're not wrong for acting like that.
>>62050645The thing about normies succeeding is because they are the core of the based content. The based dont make content about themselves. The based like to educate normies and whoever gets converted can win in life
lots of normal people have household incomes in the 200-300k range. they believe in God, stay married, work hard, etc. sux if you don't do that, but dont pretend like you didn't know about it.
In the UK there are five groups of peopleA) Lives with parents, no rent, given up on affording a house. Splashes 30k wage on trips to Turkey and a financed BMWB) Lives in a council house on benefits, sells drugs, making the equivalent of 30k without rent or taxC) 50k construction job, financed car and new-build up North where it's very cheap.D) 80k tech job (very rare), lives in a 1k room in London and rides a bike. Still can't afford t buy so splashes the rest on holidays and overpriced restaurantsE) Rich parents. Got them a job in finance and bought them a house and new car.
>>62058799You should try to work at Heysham
>>62050645The money goes somewhere. Every house you see is owned by someone. If you ‘follow the rules’ you lose. They have rich friends, or commit crimes, or go in debt; or something. The way the rich want the world to work is they control everything, and you serve them to get access. Thats what normies do, suck rich cock
>>62052121"Corpomaxxing" doesn't work in europe aside from maybe London where theres a few high paying places you can sell your soul to, but who the fuck wants to live in London of all places jesus I would rsther die. The system is made to compress everyone into roughly the same income bracket. The post-tax difference between someone working a shitjob here and a good corporate job is like 2-2.5x, not 3-10x like in America. The only way to get ahead is through inheritance and help from your parents.
>>62054397>What is the rule of 55>What are 72t withdrawals>What is a Roth conversion ladderYou can access 401k funds at any age.
>>62058665Why would Jesus make someone rich when he said it's almost impossible for a rich man to get to heaven? Why would he make it harder for them to get to heaven? You and all you just world fallacy believing christcucks are fucking retards.
>bottom 70% has no savings>top 10% do 50% of the consumption >top 70-90% are treading water>bottom 90% has cut back spending>American median household income is 60k95% of people are poor.
>>62059195US median household income is $84k and mediam household net worth is $192,000. The "bottom 90%" cutoff is $250k/yr.
>>62050645They dont, they just live in debt as slaves. I make just over 100k now, and im JUST starting to get to a point where im like "ok im able to stand here" Because im almost fully paid off on all my debts IDK how the fuck normies are affording rent, car, insurance, bills, loans, any of that shit.
>>62050692>Normies are working high paying jobslol no they are not.
>>62050876assuming you mean 5k each so 10k, thats only 833 dollars a month before taxes Post taxes its more like 660 bucks a month The average car payment for an american is close to $775 a month. If you put only 10k into both an IRA and 401k you still cant afford a new car or vacation.
>>62059195This. The poor are starving right now and no one cares.
>>62059208> US median household income is $84kThe average and median are always different and changing depending on which site so I just picked 60k. You can say 60-80k. >>62059235Cheap garbage food is fattening. Fresh foods are pricier. Fresh veggies and meat>>62059215>100kThat’s barely above water. >>62059208> The "bottom 90%" cutoff is $250k/yr.Top 10% is 250k income?
>>62059219Normies are losing jobs and cant find jobs especially new graduates. Middle level workers get fired and get low level jobs now. So even entry level jobs hire those 3+ years experience. Everyone working class person has taken a pay cut or moved down in job level for less pay or moved up in job responsibilities for same pay. Terrible time for most people in the working class. Glad I am out the rat race. K shaped economy in full effect.
>>62059338>That’s barely above water.Yeha i know, lol.
>>62059219Most techfags, especially SWEs and PMs at the FAANG companies, are normalfags nowadays. CS became the new finance after 2008. It is the thing everyone did by default, and a ton of them got hired during the retarded 2018-2021 hiring sprees. Also, the entire world of consulting, bkg law and non-quant big finance runs on normalfags that can actually interact with customers face to face. The successful technical sales people that make tons of money are also all normalfags. There really aren't that many high pay jobs where smart spergs have an advantage over normalfags nowadays that non-software engineering pays like it's still 2010 and software engineering has turned into allignment politics, kpi metagaming the nepotism olympics.
I make $10k a month from a mid tier office job, it's not like it's that hard to buy all that stuff with that lol, what are you even spending your money on?
>>62059370Oh trust me i fucking know. i got into CSE because i actually liked it, always did, and always enjoying doing IT managment because i liked making servers go and fixing thier shit.I now landed into a SQL Adminstrator role doing cloud shit as well, and the amount of normies in there who cant do the most basic shit drives me insane. Or worst of all consultants who come it, fuck up everything with their big ideas that dont actually fucking work, is staggering.Right now im working on a project for completely reorginizing a given systems access method for literally NO GOOD FUCKING REASON, other then lol some one sold our company a multi millions dollar contract and software and now we need to justify it by using it.
>>62059384You live in a lower class area and have a low SoL. My taxes are over 10k a month.
Normies are debtmaxxed, they will be raped and enslaved when the bill comes due
>>62059384Where do you live? Do you own anything? Can you retire before 35?
>>62059415They already are. K shaped economy. One line goes up continuously and goes keeps going down. >>62059370They definitely normalfags and debtmaxxed too. Probably living in an expensive area they cannot afford. Apparently 700 is the average car payment in usa. It should be 300.
>>62059362>>62059399>>62059428>>62059442Anon please, you are not even american. You can barely string 3 coherent sentences in a row. Stop larping for your own mental wellbeing.
I always tell normies these facts when they talk shit to me>>62059195And they say I am making stuff up. The average person has no idea what a slave they are.
>>62050645because normies were in fraternities and have friends and likely nepo'd their way into comfy office jobs making 80k+ a year. Also debt. A lot of debt. The thought of buying a used car in full with no monthly payments seriously doesn't cross their mind. They go to the dealership and pay $350 a month on a slightly newer car. Sure they have the means to do so but that is a bad habit that transfers over to other types of spending like streaming services, gyms that they go to twice a month, etc. Either>their vacations and cars are from maxing out their credit cards and they are in debt or close to itor>they are actually paying for it but have nothing in savings regardless of their income and are completely fucked if they lose their job and would likely be homeless after 6 months.
>>62059480> The thought of buying a used car in full with no monthly payments seriously doesn't cross their mind. They go to the dealership and pay $350 a month on a slightly newer car.Your numbers are way off, average car payment in the US is now $766-775 a month
>>62059465Shut the fuck up. Bitch slave.
I didn't have much nepotism as a kid but I interned (deliberately went to a school that used slave student labor in my field) and so did a few of my buddies who didn't have much neoptism. It was enough back then to get past the "entry level" meme. My old friends have kept working and are now fairly powerful middle managers / subject matter experts in national companies. Me personally I'm tired and old and took a voluntary layoff and never came back.I don't know if kids these days could honestly do what they did and what I gave up. I still do contract work and I can see how much worse the "entry level" meme's gotten. The nepobaby issue is way worse than when I was getting my foot in the door. That and rents which were already stupid are even stupider. And food.
>>62059480>The thought of buying a used car in full with no monthly payments seriously doesn't cross their mind.Anon....you know most as in the overwhelming majority of people in the US dont even have enough to cover a $500 emergency. We also live in the WORST used car market of all time right now.The average cost of a used car is OVER $10k The average cost of a new car in teh us is 50k, which means most people are gonna end up going into the used market becuase who the fuck has 50k? guess what that does, drives up demand and thus price.
>>62059480Most normies at best are in office jobs making 150k max. There aren’t enough high paying jobs for everyone, dummy. Normies fight each other for pennies.
>>62054897>I would have lost 10 years financially speaking but gained a lifetime of priceless experiencesIdk that's a cope. Look at those people now
>>62059195Yes, but more people are making it
>>62059529Also, there is no way most of the luxury vehicles you see on the road are bought by people who can actually afford it.
>>62059553What do you mean
>>62059559K shaped economy though. 10% do better and better and bottom 90% do worse and worse.

>>62059565Yeah lmao you have to have your shit together. 90% of people are fucking retards who blow almost all the shit they get immediately on bullshit. This becomes painfully obvious when you look at how people spend their money and how many people are living "paycheck to paycheck" even when earning $200k+
>>62059587> how many people are living "paycheck to paycheck" even when earning $200k+Yeah I checked /henryfinance and people making 500k and more are struggling. They move into areas with actual high networth individuals. Networth =\= high income
>>62059587Yeah 90% of the people are retarded sure we get that, how ever an economy that literally only lets 10% of the people "make it" which make it means being able to afford a fucking home, while the other 90% squabble for survival is not an economy that is going to stay up for long. Thats the problem. The average retard needs to be able to "make it" to a degree. The average retard currently can not. And retards who are angry and have nothing to lose, stand to gain everything when they want to rip the system down.
>>62059615Fuck the average person. K shaped economy baby.
>>62059529>you know most as in the overwhelming majority of people in the US dont even have enough to cover a $500 emergency. This is not the case. The median American household has a net worth of $192,000 and has $8,000 in transaction accounts.>>62059615It is not the case that only 10% of Americans own their own home. The median American owns their own home.
>>62059631Yeah let me know how well that pans out when the "eat the rich" Crowd start doing so literally.
>>62059637They will eat each other first. Don’t worry.

>>62059615> And retards who are angry and have nothing to lose, stand to gain everything when they want to rip the system down. These retards, aka you, will burn their own neighborhoods down and spend their own paycheck before they die from starvation. The system is working fine.

>>62059562most of them are leases
>>62050645one of the favorite quotes and life mottos of every normie is "Carpe Diem", once they get to rent or a mortgage contract for a house they absolutely stop caring about future savings at all. From that moment, they go full Carpe Diem mode and expend everything they have in vacations and shit they dont need. They just dont know better, and they are a hive mind, so they reinforce that behavior with their peers.
It's all financed by debt or the lack of saving and investing. I'm reading articles from the WSJ and NYT where couples making $500k are putting $100k combined into retirement savings. I make $80k and I'm doing about $43k to a traditional 401(k), HSA, Roth, and after-tax savings. I don't even know if I'm going to make it. I feel as though at any time, the ladder is going to just shoot up and leave us all behind. We're in uncharted waters. I'm so exhausted thinking about the future, I'm about to just be one of those people who just buys a dumb fucking car to stop thinking and start enjoying.
>>62060128The ladder already shot up during Covid. Kinda like networth vs income. But you’re not really living it up when its all on debt and piling up each month.
>>62065111>200kThat’s not even enough in a big city since 150k is middle class.
>>62065155I agree it's not a wild amount of money- that's my point. You can get enough credit at that income to pretend to live large though.>>62065137Sorry, I'm suggesting people might earn in the one percent but live conservatively to the point their consumption makes them identify as not-upper-class.Alternatively, lots of people draw the distinction of what "rich" is high, recognizes they're not there and then might see themselves as "well off". Like you could say "damn, I cannot expect to afford to own and maintain a jet", "it would be ridiculous for me to even fly private on occasion", "yikes flying first everywhere really is going to take a big bite out of my budget", "I don't think I can do a housekeeper AND a nanny", "yeah no way can we do a Rolls Royce or a driver", "this single (very nice) house is just about all I can afford at the moment", "I can't afford a boat of really any kind", "fuck me I'm making good money as a neurosurgeon but I'm still dealing with half a million in accumulated student debt", "I don't think I can donate enough to a presidential candidate to expect to be an ambassador somewhere" etc etc.
>>62065192Probably, to second part of your post. That’s why everyone should know the wealth stats. I grew up with kids in the 1% 30 years ago and they didn’t know they were in the 1% 30 years ago. For the rest of your post, I think you are more focused on income than networth. Someone mentioned a top 1% income isnt much cause everything is expensive. A top 1% income person might move into a top 1% area but not have the networth to live there. Something similar to this but yeah. Pretty much living beyond their means because the wealth gap is so big that 150k is middle class.
I don't know how people are doing it. Im pulling in about $60k per year between my job and my business. My mortgage is $600, my car payment is like $200, insurance $100. All in my monthly bills are probably $1,800-2k. I really don't buy anything besides food and some things to grow my business. I feel like im on the lower end of bills and closer to the average on pay. I have nothing in savings. There should be like $2000 extra coming into my account each month. Maybe my budget is all fucked up, but I should not be struggling this bad with my situation. Need new tires, and car registration and I just dont have the money. Might have to hotdogmaxx a week of every month.
>>6206521360k is american median household income.
>>62065213If your car is 200 a month, your tires should be less than 700.
>>62065213You know what? Tell us as much as possible about yourself. I am curious what a 60k income person lifestyle is like.
>>62064866>without wealth, we would not be wealthywow shocking, world changing and perspective-shifting.
>>62050720lmao came here to post this ctfl-f'd 'caleb' and you came right up.It's all debt, fpbp tpbp.
>>62065232I bought a house in like 2019 $90k 3 bed, 2ba 15 year mortgage at like 3.5% joint ownership between me and my brother. Had an additional roommate for a while. Mortgage came out to about $500 each but has gone up to $630. I drive a used tesla model 3 I got for about $20k with like $8k down because it appears to be cheaper than a used gas car on a longer timeframe. Its free to charge between midnight and 6am I believe. I basically take it about 5 miles per day to work, post office, gym. Occasionally I will take a longer trip to a nicer grocery store. No vices or girlfriend. Mainly just sit at home during free time scrolling 4chan and working on my business. Usually go out for free church events and potlucks. Mainly eat alone so breakfast is oatmeal, cereal, or toast. For lunch and dinner I might eat fast food or some stuff from the grocery store like frozen asian food or prepared food. This is probably the area I could cut back on but it would only save maybe $50-100 a month and would just take up more time I could use to grow my business or lead to leftovers that get wasted. I don't buy videogames or pay for any streaming services. I have a 4 year old phone thats paid off. I get a $25 haircut once a month. All my utilities are split in half with my brother. Have a solar panel loan thats $110 a month to offset high electric bill in summer. Also have a gym membership thats $20 per month. Have a couple pair of jeans and I only wear white tshirts that come in a 6 pack for $15. Take maybe a weekend of vacation a year to go snowboarding which is about $350-400 for everything.Yeah thats basically it. I think I live a pretty simple life. I have some hobbies like freestyle bmx but don't spend any money on that really.
>>62065519Just realized im regarded. Been living on probably like $30k the past several months. Realized im in the slow season of work, and I have been dumping like 90% of my business profit back into the business. So things should hopefully pick up in the next couple months. So going from living on $2500 a month to probably closer to around $6500-7000. Now I know where most of the money is going. If I keep growing my business and work stays the same then in the next couple of years I should have car paid off, solar panels paid off and a bit in savings. Was starting to think there was a hole somewhere in my finances where I was leaking cash. Wouldn't hurt to do spaghetti once a month and a pack of hotdogs once a month though after looking into everything.
>>62065302It wasn’t “without wealth,” it was without the current environment. Dumb ass. A lot of people are rich because of the current environment. >>62065519Sounds good.
>>62066941>31 post by this IDWTF is wrong with you?
>>62065519holy shit anon please learn to cook and eat healthy. The garbage you're eating is making me cringe. Never ever eat frozen meals. Learn to make overnight oats with whey, omelets, greek yoghurt/skyr with granola etc. for breakfast. Also what do you mean by "toast" ? you better not be eating plain white bread
It's a huge cope to say it's debt. Normies get help from parents when buying houses, have two incomes in marriages, and easily get jobs and promotions because these are determined based on normieness. I could be making 50% or more in life if I had passed one or two more job interviews than I did.
>>62059499financial literacy is in the gutter if this is true>>62059530i said 80k where are you getting 150k from?
>>62067002Im eating plain white bread :(I used to cook a lot more, but end up throwing away a lot of food. Going to get back into it though. Just made ceviche a few days ago.
>>62067010You don't have to be a normie, but you do have to be a high masking autist that knows how to reveal your power level. Its about playing the right type of politics. A lot of normies think office politics is just going to the manager and shitting on their coworker every time they fuck up. I always worked my way into better positions by being average, making my bosses job easier, and by being chill. Maybe its different in faggot corpo world when you are trying to become a partner at the big 4, but even in those environments I have heard the fast track is to latch on to the right superior and follow him up, but thats just the same shit as what I just said with maybe a little more glazing.
>>62067063The key to home cooking is finding a bunch of easy cheap recipes that ideally can be cooked in a big batch and stored for a long time. Me, I cook twice a week and I just eat those two dishes for the whole week, with some snacks in-between. Home cooking is all about cutting corners, that's why you won't see a lot of it on youtube, it doesn't look appealing and it sounds nasty but that's the point. Like for example I cook my potatoes in a microwave and then I just add cheese spread to them. You won't hear that recipe anywhere because it sounds so nasty and cheap but that's the whole point of home cooking, figuring out which corners you personally are okay with cutting

>>62067216I would like to be able to just cook with a bunch of staples. Just have a ton of onions, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, limes, cucumbers, dry pasta, eggs etc. The ceviche I made was a few of those ingredients. Then I could also make a japanese curry, a spaghetti, and probably a hamburger. Maybe a bowl of gyudon with the onions and some rice, beef, daikon. Its just such a pain in the ass for one person though unless I maybe start finding some more freezer safe foods and entirely avoid ever eating somewhere outside of home. Things like potlucks, dinner with friends family can really throw off some of the rotation. I do like cooking and made my ceviche without a recipe, and could probably do this with a ton of other foods and it would turn out really well, but I don't keep a lot of ingredients that could spoil on hand. I do keep a bunch of shit like you are talking about ready to go though. Canned black pepper eel, sardines, nuts, milk, cheese, etc etc. Those just get turned into meals like 3-4x a month as opposed to like 7-8. Sometimes some bullshit like tortellini, cubed ham, peas, and alfredo sauce. Could very easily use that cubed ham and cheese for an omelette as well. Typing this all out seems like I need to be more intentional with ingredients and how quickly I rotate through them and cooking will be more manageable.

>>62060128> I make $80k and I'm doing about $43k to a traditional 401(k), HSA, Roth, and after-tax savings.Your life must suck though. You'll be one of those guys who's 75 and agonizing over whether to spend the extra $5 on quality eggs because you just "know" they're a ripoff.
>>62066824>Just realized im regardedGo the fuck back to plebbit with your stream of consciousness you fucking pussy
Apparently maxing out credit cards then declaring bankruptcy is an infinite money glitch (does not work with student loans)
>>62067361>Just have a ton of onions, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, limes, cucumbersThe problem is those go bad, yes even potatoes go bad surprisingly fast. So if you're cooking just for yourself alone, you can't really keep a big stash of shit at home because it'll rot before you get to use it. Using fresh ingredients sounds nice until you realize you need to go to the shop every time you're trying to cook something
