Redpill me on Pokemon investing. Is it actually easy money right now?
>>
Yes and no. If you have the patience and willpower to store sealed boxes without feeling tempted to open them then yes. Most people (me included) are retards though and open the boxes don't get any good cards and complain all day.
>>
It's for poorfag scalpers. You're not ever going to get rich doing this shit unless you're doing it at an industrial scale, and you would need to already be rich in order to do that making it even more nonsensical.

Yeah, I'm in 6 fig hell and my only plan is going all in btc once it's lower since it always bounces and it's liquid.

To me, doing this kind of stuff, scalping and hoping you get lucky with the pull is just not worth the amount of time and effort you have to sink into it in order to make money. You have to ask yourself whether it's worth the time for such little gain, unless you're willing to buy massive bulk amounts of cards and then have to sort through all of it yourself, not to mention all the time it takes to sell individual cards, ship them out to customers, photograph them for listings, etc. It's like running a small business on top of whatever else you have going on in life.

I've done it in the past, not with cards but with other collectibles like Lego and it was just draining. Yes you could make good money if you are doing a ton of listings and selling a lot of stuff, but you spend so much of your day just dealing with customers and other stuff it's not worth it unless you really really need the extra cash.

he asked if it was easy money, not if he was going to be rich. It literally takes 0 effort to put a case of a product in your garage or shed and let it sit there for a year and let supply/demand do it's thing. that is the definition of easy money. if you want to rip boxes and sell singles and try to min max every card it will be a pain in the ass but just holding sealed product could not be any easier, just comes down to do you have space or not?

sealed product and popular pokemon (charizard gengar etc)

Fuck Off We're Full.
no but seriously, my little brother has balls of steel he turned 3k into 20k but it took him about 6 months. its not liquid, but he when he goes to card shows he makes about 1k profit and just reinvests. I give him shit about making sure he keeps some money saved incase pokemon goes down, but i might just be pussy. takes a good amount of knowledge.

but if you wanna be retarded about it, just buy sealed sell on facebook or whatever for average market price (not msrp) and just stack cash that way. the big bucks are in selling slabs but thats iffy to me.

it's high risk. you can get scammed if the trading company is not legit. they may tell you to send them through mail and then no matter what you do, they can say they are fake and complicate the return to ragebait you. that's what happened with me

I go two mega evo ETBs when the set was new, opened them, and got that $250 lucario card in both and sold. Thank you Gamble Gods.

It's what all normies currently do. That should answer your question.

It's all about yugioh investing

just buy cs2 cases

Make sure you go with him for security. Thieves are targeting card conventions these days.
>>
If you get lucky. I only bought a few packs and got a couple cards worth $500+. That was just sheer gambling.
>>
All I have is an unlimited base set Charizard in pretty good condition and a binder full of random Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. Is that enough to get me started?

based zard

Pretty much. A 151 master set might be a good investment
>>
>>62063507
Good to know. Should I get my Charizard graded? It's not in flawless condition but it's probably at the very least considered "lightly played". I just really hate the idea of mailing the card out in a less protected way. As grading companies don't allow the card to be sleeved and just placed in a card holder.
