Is the talk around potentially dropping real estate prices real shit, or just cope? I've been eyeing a few properties around my place and it seems like the prices got corrected, although nothing overly substantial. Would the current economic/geo/pol/ situation drive prices further down? Or could prices start to inflate again until 2030 or so? I'm looking to buy/build something like this.
>>62052724You are too lazy to do it.
getbusy.
>>62052749My parents would be 1/2 owners of the place. Our current family home is big and has a lot of space, but it's accessibility is not great. They want something a bit closer by, so they would be the ones that would do half the work in making it look like in OP. It's easy for me to maintain that later, especially if I move up with my job. We've got a few options, but the potential wait for price drop is what's making me uneasy. Not sure if waiting for a year or two is smart or if it could backfire.
>>62052797Not sure how off grid my place would be, since it's very close to the city, but this self sustainable style home is what seems like a good investment nowadays.
>>62052724Post more comfy material
>>62052724Housing market correction is likely. Iran accelerates the timeline.
>>62052724If i ever make it, i want a huge food garden, but i dont want it organized like that, i want a food forest.
>>62052919Best I've got.>>62053109That looks like it's very difficult to maintain. When the various little grasses and wild plants start sprouting up, it becomes a bit of a nightmare.
>>62052853>>62053299Tagged the wrong anon. Here's more comfy housing plans.
Don't forget the sign boss.
The correction is regional and already almost over, Florida is bottoming in the next year or so
>>62052724No one can afford to sell the house they bought on leverage at a loss, they have to be forced out by the bank. If the foreclosures start, the government will step in and buy the mortgages. Stagflation will raise the price of everything to catch up with housing. Literal nightmare scenario for anyone that didn't save up a cusion from the covid boom.
>>62052724housing is going to skyrocket prices will be x100 by the EoYbut population will halvechainlink will be $81,000 a token but will no longer be able to buy a cup of coffee
>>62053324>>62053299>>62052724these cute pictures are total fantasymaintaining that would be a full time joband the inputs to maintain it are worth x4 any outputs. Shitty farming, a mirage sold to boys who were never allowed to play outside.
>>62052724If Trump lowers housing prices all the boomers that support him will make sure he's impeached, tried, and sent to prison
>>62053446I've got a rather big plot of land in front if my house. My father and I spent an entire month cleaning it and setting it up for seeding. The amount of potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers and a few other vegetables we've gotten from just a small part of that land was astonishing. Now we've got a few fruits and other vegetables in plan. Are you sure you're not a lazy nig' that's putting his insecurities out to us?
>>62053299It isn't it grows like a forest once stablished. It also consumes way less water than the organized way due to the plants layering giving insulation capabilities. But if your worry is about the wild plants sprouting, you are not supposed to maintain a Forest Garden, just cut the plants if they start obstructing your path, the whole point is to let it grow like a forest.>pic relatedyou can't possible breed cows in such a small piece of land. Kek, why the fuck do chickens have more land than the fucking cow.
>>62052724Boomers will literally just fucking die before they lower prices kekRealworlders are totally screwed on this one. Prices will only go up from here
>>62052749FPBP
>>62053651The cow is not restricted, but tethered. It can just walk over the tether and pass into the chicken's side.
>>62053687It still is way too little space for a cow. You vastly underestimate how much do those animals eat.
>>62053446To be fair, when famine hits this fall the inputs will be worth 100X the outputs.
>>62052724Just buy the best home you can with 3% down and if shit hits the fan you have a minimal amount invested and can walk away. Foreclosures only stay on your credit report for 7 years. The fed cuts rates at any hint of home prices going down.
>>62055824I don't understand a word of what you're saying>t. someone who built his own home as his father and grandfather did.Sure it might look like a piece of shit for 20k but it's better than paying 100k over 20 years for the same piece of shit like the gringo I sold it to.Instead of going into to debt buying a home from jewish realtors/banks maybe go into debt buying a cement mixing truck and back hoe?Just look up how much it costs just to lay the foundation for a house.
I have family in RussiaEver since the fall of the USSR, they have been self-sufficient with foodThey spend about 2 hours every evening gardening (when there is no snow): it doesn't take that much time once you get good at it, and would probably take even less in a better climate
>>62053651I can tell you are a city boy and have no experience gardening/growing food
>>62053446Thats why you have a compost bin and source of manure and you can use your own seeds.
>>62053324The house has to be like 5x that size for me to be happy
>>62052724Nominal home prices will never come down significantly. At best they just won't keep up with inflation and currency debasement. The boomers who hold unto homes are losing in terms of real value.I might be wrong though since eventually we will start seeing millennials and zoomers getting into positions of power and they might start pushing for massive buildups of residential buildings to drive prices down, but I don't count on it since even if it happens, it will be too late for me. Luckily I inherited a small apartment and I don't intend of ever upgrading unless I become a multimillionaire.>>62052749Yep. Same with any anon who ever uttered "innawoods" ever on this website. Every single one of them lives with their parents and have never spent a day alone in nature. It is just fantasy.>>62052919I highly doubt it will correct to reasonable prices. I also expect interest hikes so it will offset the little correction.>>62055876I highly doubt they are truly self sufficient. They somehow get fuel, modern equipment, modern material that includes metals, plastics, cloth, and most likely modern fertilizer because lol if they rely on compost and manure - they will lost nutrients in their soils unless they import the manure as well. I also doubt they are self sufficient calorie-wise. They probably buy cheap flour. This is not nitpicking, what I mention above means they have to spend money. They either get government gibs somehow, or have yields frok investments, or they sell their labor.
>>62056342> I highly doubt they are truly self sufficientI just meant that they don't buy food (no need for cheap flour when potatoes are that easy to farm)They do have jobs and buy manure + equipment
Nice garden you have there Timmy.
>>62056342Why does she carry the frogs!?
>>62052724trust fund babynot military one thought.it must be someone that knows how you feelsomeone that is rich by heart. not just by pocket and wallet.
