I CAN'T BREAK INTO THE CAREER I KNOW I SUCCEED AT
>>
>>62056560
which one?
>>
>>62056566
industrial automation engineer
>>
>>62056596
why did you graduate without experience?
>>
>>62056560
Im about to pay 60k starting this summer to pay professors to get me the job interview with the appropriate government institution for my career to finally take off.

I feel really dumb, but long term this investment is a positive.

kek retard you got got
>>

nahhh their own website says 96% of students go straight into employment!
They wouldnt lie to me when I pay them so much money
>>

because when i graduated Industrial Engineering, I didn't know what the fuck i wanted to do. I work as a quality engineer for a while then as a meme sales engineer, but along the line i realised that industrial automation perfectly matches my skills (computers and hardware) and resources (Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering).
>>
>>62056560
relateable
>>62056636
>just know how everything works at 19 bro
i wish i had worked for a few years and gone to school at ~23 instead of at 18
>>62063446
if you can break into it then that should be a decent line of work
engineering and industry fucking sucks ass here and is full of dinosaurs nesting on all the decent jobs despite the fact they can't even do them anymore; it's sufficiently arcane that nobody inside can tell that they can't do it and nobody dares replace them either
>>62056666
a foot in the door is basically all academic institutions even provide - the actual education is shit and largely useless
quads confirm you're doing the right thing anon
>>
>>62056560
just beeeee urself <3
>>
>>62056560
i calculated about 700 hours of volunteer experience to get into med school followed by the 1000s of hours spent as a student where i paid the hospital to give prostate exams and do the most scut-work imaginable in the ED

and now as a doctor i'm being told we make too much and we're getting replaced by AI
>>
>>62056560
Did you try walking into the place you want to work at and give the boss there a firm handshake?
>>
>>62056596
i've purposefully avoided doing that despite my managers trying their best to convince me. I work in the IT side instead and sit at home in my underwear all day
>>
>>62063446

Haha I'm a sales engineer and make high 6 figures.

Learn how to not be a retard around people and make a fuck load of money and do your Industrial automation shit on the side.
