I just dont understand what this coin is all about. You can manipulate coin price on a scamcoin just by fucking around and trading small amounts with yourself, but why would someone keep it up for weeks? It's quite intriguing to ponder what is going on here. Is it just a big joke poking fun at the shorts? I think the holocaust, nuclear weapons, and moon landing are the foundational myths of our world. It's the people's right to know these were fraudulent programs used to steal tax dollars.
>Holocaust
Haavara agreement disproves it. US military never witnessed an extermination camp, and says it to this day. Foundation of the idea the west and white men are exclusively evil and responsible for all evil in the world.

>nuclear weapons
Japan had no radiation contamination or deaths. A myth used to promote the UN, and to justify war against people who want to make a gold backed currency. Above ground testing banned in the 1970s. Home film cameras popularized in the 1970s. There is no footage recorded by a civilian.

>moon landing
Used to promote the religion of science. Deny science carrying us to the moon? Prepare to be socially ostracized for denying the purity of materialism! Sidenote: NASA JPL and CERN are full of unironic satanic cult members. They see science as the worship of the material and worship it over the creator. They also think lying to the public is an exercise of "free will." This is where their "revelation of the method" bullshit comes into play. It should be assumed that 100% of their budgets are slush funds to basically pay for Jewish daycare for political allies. In NASA's case it's liberal urban atheist communists.

Is it true that shorts can lower their average? So for instance you can lower your average when buying shares if you buy more when the price goes down, can shorts do the same so if they shorted it at $2 can they just even out with shorting again at $23?

>>
>>62065093
Yeah they can try and short the price down every time it pumps, but that doesn't mean much if they giga shorted the fuck out of the price at single digits without ever closing. Imagine going all in on buying a stock at $100 a share and then that price goes down to $1. You'd have to spend a shit ton of money to average down.
Plus anyone that is shorting gme now in the $20-$25 range is wasting their time if the downside to gme is still $20 while the potential upside is RC aiming for at least triple digits.
Shorting gme now is just asking to get fucked in the ass.
>>
>>62065093
If you short at $1 and $20 your average short position is still $11.50 average. Thats only on paper too. You still have to close the $1 short.
>>
>>62065093
When you talk about "shorts", small hedge funds and traders can operate much easier than someone who has been shorting in a systemic-naked fashion like the market makers. Small hedgies can just buy shares from market makers. MMers have to clear the actual short entries from their balance sheets. So they can't meaningfully close their shorts at these price levels. The entire reason why "dark pools" exist is so someone like Buffet can show up with $2BN to buy stock without it financially prolapsing everyone else in the market (so much leverage in the system, longs shorts, options makes this all dangerous)

Checked. I guess my assumptions is if GME is systemic, then regulators will work systemically to undermine it. Going so far as to instruct specific companies to issue warrants on the same day to total return swap them. Then have different social media people tweet random things so you can claim "these schizos were doing all this manipulation!"

Same problem as before where they want to prosecute/enforce market manipulation laws, but don't want to prosecute specific individuals. Only movements that inconvenience the elites.

Impossibly based post. That is the inherent danger in selling covered calls is that you think you are making tendies clicking the mouse a few times and it's comforting to do when suffering the eternal crab. But there will 100% be a day where you lose every single covered call you sell. Selling shares for $30 when they can effortlessly spike to $80 is a lot of money to leave on the table. Ryan has a pretty good investing track record. The acquisition may already be in progress. When the news breaks, market makers may need to 're-price' the business to the upside.
>>
>>62065093
I have no expertise, but I imagine that if you enter 100 shorts at $1 and then 100 shorts at $23 and use the proceeds to close out 75 of the $1 shorts, you still have 125 shorts and no money to close (unless you sell something else). That's just my imagination, though.

The fact that the BoE's weekly repo ops have averaged over 70b since Jan is wild. Pushing repo lets them have more control over short term monetary volatility, and they've stated that this is an intentional restructure, presumably to prop up their fucked gilt market. One can only imagine the state of their rotting system to make that necessary.

I want to start by sharing how I think about the acquisition of The Container Store, Elfa, and Closet Works, and why I believe this transaction is a critical step for our company.

>>
>>62068894
>What does this have to do with GME?
GME has stated they will be engaging in M&A. We are also voting on a compensation package for RC to 10x the market cap of GME. RC is a creditor of BBBY and he even tried to buy BBBY for $400M. BBBY issued warrants using BBBYQs CUSIP on the same day as GME issued their own warrants. So this is probably the beginnings of a massive M&A about to unfold shortly. This is quite the CUSIP Confluence.

>We are also voting on a compensation package for RC to 10x the market cap of GME.
No shit?
>RC is a creditor of BBBY and he even tried to buy BBBY for $400M.
So what? If anything, they OWE him money for wasting his time and shooting down his offer to buy the company.
>BBBY issued warrants using BBBYQs CUSIP on the same day as GME issued their own warrants.
That's because the BBBY warrants are being used to suppress the price of the GME warrants. All the real ones here know why.
>So this is probably the beginnings of a massive M&A about to unfold shortly.
For GME, not for Overstock (now named BBBY).
>This is quite the CUSIP Confluence.
You're mentally ill. Ryan is telling us he intends to bring the market cap of GME to a valuation worth HUNDREDS of BILLIONS, and you've got brain worms making you obsess over a bankrupt company that formerly sold towels and scented candles. Or more likely...you're just paid to be here, there's also that.

>POSTURING (in preparation)
>to be ACQUIRED (to be bought out by another company)
And now lets look at your spergout.
>Does an acquiston imply that Gamestop will be disbanded
It implies that Ryan wants to SELL GAMESTOP to a competitor. Which he has clearly stated is not the case. If anyone is the "vanta black nigger" here, it's (You).
>>
>>62069090
Frog pictures wont make people believe you

You stated:
>Ryan himself said that he intends Gamestop to be around for decades and centuries

I stated:
>Does an acquiston imply that Gamestop will be disbanded you vanta black nigger or does your anger have anything to do with you not having a ticket for the rocket?

So answer the fucking question. In the event of an acquisition would Gamestop cease to exist? or would it simply be moved under an umbrella of a larger entity?
>>

>>
It’s weird that they started using the frogs. When will they adopt smug images? I guess they don’t really have much to be smug about. Kek
>>
>>62069103
>So answer the fucking question.
I already did. And the answer is YES, it does imply that Ryan is preparing to have his company be acquired by another. If that were to happen, we would all be given cash in exchange for losing our GME shares, and will be given shares in the new company that bought Gamestop. So we would all lose our ownership of the original version of Gamestop, and will be forced to own the shares of whatever company decides to swallow them up.
>In the event of an acquisition would Gamestop cease to exist?
Yes, he original company and shares will cease to exist, but the intellectual property and infrastructure will be owned by the company that bought it out. It would only exist under the thumb of a larger company, and we would lose our majority retail ownership of the company.
>>62069199
You're not getting your money back.
>>
>>62069199
All jokes aside, BBBY is probably the single most important stock you can buy right now. It is the "Butterfly" in DK-Butterfly. They split the operations off so Lemonis could resume operations while we use t he corporate protections provided in CH11. BBBYQ has ALREADY reverse merged with BBBY and this is a 100% proven fact because the issuing entity was BBBYQ and NOT BBBY.
Will RC buy it all or will he just get Baby? Either way, something very very spicy is happening right now. I sold calls on my BBBY shares with a $17.50 strike. So someone seems to be betting the price could do a 3x from now and June.

I've said it since the beginning. The amount of seething caused by BBBY has made them stick out like a sore thumb. I noticed them back in 2022-2023. Always hiding out in GME threads and diligently policing what we can all talk about. It's what got me looking into it in the first place. At first I was just interested in the spicy option chain and talking about how much money you could make selling puts. You would get shamed for even mentioning it. Even in passing. It's actually quite astounding to see in hindsight where this whole saga has taken us. I wouldn't want to have missed this for the world.

>Larry cheng (who helped RC build Chewy, and is a current boardmember at GameStop, and a close personal friend to RC) went onto theppshow podcast (which is dedicated to BBBY recovery theories) 8 months after BBBY filed for chapter 11, and 2 months after shares were cancelled

This is Wallstreet's final smash & grab. Normally you value the IPO under the true value as an act of goodwill for the investors. This is looking like it over overvalued from the get-go and they are trying to line up countless retail and 401k baggies to eat a massive turd.
I hold it to be an axiomatic fact of the universe that humanity as a whole will be considerably poorer once this credit cycle completes and the deleveraging begins in earnest. There won't be any more deficit spending to cover the shortages. So not only will we all be paying more taxes, but our collective capital pools (insurance) and savings (banks & wallstreet) we all need to be recapitalized from scratch. SpaceX will be doing a whole lot of nothing.

New predictive history video. He explains why the Iran war, being lost on purpose, is a genius move. Trump wants to unite north america, which is also the largest oil exporter other than the ME or Russia. By blocking the straight of hormuz, now Asia/Europe are more dependent on US and Russian oil. If the world is buying our resources, that also means our 39 trillion debt doesn't matter.

Near the end he talks about George HW Bush announcing the NWO in 1991. World controlled through finance (wall st), cultural Marxism (DEI, trannies, etc), and world hegemony (global military control.) Trump wants to replace finance with manufacturing, Marxism with Christian nationalism, and to make America not a hegemon. Trump and Putin know global internal conflict will happen globally, so globalism becomes a massive risk to your economy/safety.

Something he also mentioned was Russia's war with Ukraine has nothing to do with NATO. That's the excuse they use. They are developing their economy into a perpetual war machine for economic stability, and to use the war to increase nationalism, with the goal of avoiding internal strife.

Sounds like we are getting a destroyed Israel, out of the middle east, stronger economy, AND the financial terrorist criminals will lose evverything!

Interesting. I have long thought that certain events unfold for cynical reasons and the biggest folly you can make it to suspect the people making moves are stupid.
A good example would be anyone who studied a little bit of Austrian economics who will show up to discussions to criticize the Fed on some basic-bitch talking point as if they weren't 10 steps ahead of you backed up by incomprehensible levels of data and analysis to justify what/why they do things.
Did we go to war for some clandestine reasoning? Almost certainly. My personal thought was this was a now-or-never type event where they hoped to decapitate Iran here and now because they probably suspect we are on the cusp of a major 2008 style collapse caused by GME.

>>
>>62073371
Probably be very close to crossing the threshold of 7 figures. That's not even considering MOASS would be starting. Also, even if we resumed crabbing at 10x, the amount of premium we would be able to collect from selling calls would be on a whole new plane of existence that what we have now. I bet we would be making monthly salaries with the click of a few buttons and using it to buy up even more GME or stacking silver or buying dividend stocks. I can hardly wrap my head around what the coming few years will mean for us all because I doubt they will have any capacity to allow us to crab at 10x valuation when they can barely survive where we are right now. Either way we are going to be so stupidly rich it won't even matter or we'll be in such a strong position that making fat stacks of cash will be effortless and put us all in a whole new tax bracket.

Maybe we're all so used to seeing $20 that we forget that if the price revalues that drastically, the IV and the scope of the option chain will be a free-money fountain for the rest of our lives.
Go look at a stock like NEM which is $114 and estends all the way out to $170 where you can make $5/per contract for a week of exposure. The eternal crab will be meaningless once the shareprice elevates. The volatility from shorts closing will not be ideal for writing covered calls, but the point still stands. GME is going to revolutionize all of our lives in a very tangible way very soon.
Have 4000 shares? Imagine being able to sell 40 contracts for $20 each which is akin to making a middle class income for a week doing absolutely nothing. That's just one avenue waiting for outside of MOASS kicking off.

Maybe they finally realized they can't spam the naked shorting cheese anymore so they have no choice but to overhaul everything.
I feel like a 24/7 stock market would require a complete reset of the current market just because of how much premarket and after hours controls prices.
>>
File deleted.
>>62074032
24/7 trading is an admission that the entire thing is run by algorithms and it is completely devoid of any sort of fundamentals or constraints such as supply/demand.
The monetary system on its face is a managed ponzi scheme. Controlling demand is one of the most important aspects of the economy. With so much credit sloshing around, they carefully use things like real estate prices, taxes, and health costs to cull your purchasing power. If we had no taxes, this system could theoretically allow you to grind out your life working/saving bonds and by the time you are 30 you would be retired. They have to create barriers and obstacles to retard this process.
What do you think social security is? You receive only a tiny fraction of what you put in and it's not even part of your estate so you can't pass it on.
Everywhere you look at the financial architecture this is what you find: Methods and means of forcing the tax-cattle to buy in with some sort of sales pitch that you will receive MORE value than when you expend today. But what does our service economy actually do to give us positive ROI when all we do is wage war for isreal and finance consumption? None of this actually generates any lasting economic advantage on a sustainable basis to keep pace with things like dollar-dilution caused by deficit spending and depreciation of all of the capital assets that already exist. (crumbling infrastructure anyone?)
It's all shit. What they are doing here is making the calculation that if you get the plebs to defer consumption by giving your money to Wallstreet, they can AFFORD to sprinkle a little more purchasing power into your wallet after decades of working. (They actually want you to get sick and die before that happens, of course so they can repossses your portfolio when you can't pay off your mortgage).
It's all a game where the high earners and the clever students can navigate.

That's what the covid scamdemic was. Stopping a crash by freezing velocity and demand. The covid shots were to increase medical profits (and cause chronic illness for even more profit.)
>by the time you are 30 you would be retired.
If you add taxes up across the supply chain, 50% the cost of all items is pure taxes. The actual value provided by a McDonald's fry cook is like $300,000. It's pretty in line with the fact minimum wage should be around $150/hr if you price by 1970s gold.

You would like predictive history's latest game theory videos. In game theory #17, the great reset, he talks about why the elites push Marxism. They want people to worship money. Liberty it's self is a Marxist value.
>>
>>62074155
He's interesting in some regards but a total blowhard in others. Not that anyone is perfect, but I do like and appreciate someone making bold statements about the true nature of the elite, history, and their motivations.
I think the hivemind is starting to wise up to the propaganda and tax-farm nature of "Americanism". Which is really just individualism that has been well-poisoned by Bolshevik Bankers.
Most people think it is profound that you can work to acquire income generating assets and think their "freedom and capitalism" will set them free. But they ignore the credit nature of it all which is ruthlessly stuffed full of inflation and hidden taxes and fees all meant to impoverish you. Central banking and fiat-dollary-doos are not free. We have to fork over endless taxation to basically pay for our own enslavement. The more we learn as a people and we start to drop our priors, I think the "horse-shoe" theory will come to a point where the extreme left and right will actually be forced to work together to put a stop to the madness.
>>
>>62074188
The left and right were designed to be a false dichotomy to divide the people and make controlling them easier. Manufactured consent you will "get em next ttime." Then they cheat the elections anyways.

I'm not per se opposed to paying taxes as long as it is put to a sensible use. Distribution of wealth and wealth are a good idea and keeps dropouts and crime low for a relatively small price in a high trust society. Problems arise when you introduce third world scum to that system, as almost every developed nation has done.

also yeah currency not backed by real world commodities is essentially a scam, as is the whole (((((banking/interest system))))
>>
>>62074507
One of the big lessons you learn from reading "The History of Central Banking" is that debt-backed currency requires higher taxation which includes income taxes and various sales & vice taxes. Ideally, everyone chipping in to pay for public goods and infrastructure is a good thing. It is the ability to deficit spend using fiat that creates the moral hazard and what ultimately brought us to where we are today. Exponential functions are a math trick and run in to hard-stops in the real world. Things like resource depletion, lack of space, wars and famines all prevent exponential functions from existing in reality as they are eventually derailed by constraints. When applied to money, it is a well-known scam that by playing these moneyary games you can transfer 95% of all real world ownership into the hands of the owning class. Legal title of all assets will end up on the Fed's balance sheet eventually. (Not really, but eventually the need for money will be so high and the need for impossible levels of liquidity will be so high that all you have left will be the printing press destroying itself while bankruptcies and liquidations destroy society.
>>
>>62074548
I think a big problem is the concept of money. It's not well defined and how it's applied in society doesn't match its claimed definition. It's not a universal representation of labor or value. Why is me operating an air plane related to how quickly someone pans for gold? It isn't. The idea you can price how many flight hours a gold planner could pay for, per hour of earnings, is absurd. The math only exists because we want it to, and we want to pretend the system of math is reliable with real world application. These aren't related no matter how much you want to write $5=$5
>>
Let's look at gold. The most agreed upon money in history. It doesn't corrode which means it can't be faked. It's also rare. All the gold in human history is 0.002% our yearly coal production.

We run into the same problem as before. What does the labor of a gold miner have to do with a street vendor selling apples? The vendor and buyer agree the labor is valuable?

Money doesn't really have any meaning other than a way to share your greed for something. If I buy a car for $10,000, it's value drops to $5,000, what's it worth? It's worth $0 and a car because I haven't sold it.
>>
>>62074573
The only purpose of money is to have a unit of exchange that can facilitate trade. Determining price has not always been an easy task because in a lot of ways it is subjective. So with that said, taking into consideration the subjectivity of pricing, the most important aspect of an economy is not allowing leverage, not allowing deficit spending, and investing in the economy to produce more than it consumes so it can exist in perpetuity. Taxing capital is far more important than labor, for instance. Also taking steps to eliminate "useless eaters" and their swindling opportunism is also key. At the end of the day, the only thing that really matters is "Productive Work".
>>
>>62074603
The purpose of gold is to limit the amount of value that can be exchanged to keep balance of trade net zero and to keep banks (money printers) honest.
You might disagree with golds valuation against other commodities, but it works so long as you don't leverage up your governments in two world wars.

>>62074643
Something's value is what someone is willing to pay for it. Gold hits all of the 4-5 characteristics of money which makes it so desirable. The scarcity of gold is going to always have it valued higher than a renewable commodity. Other goods and services for sale are a function of "direct use" and "exchange value". Trying to convert excess goods and services into a storable asset such as gold is going to be subjective and you really aren't going to be able to pin it down to the amount of time or work put into it. It's not really possible.
>>
>>62074719
So you're essentially agreeing that wages are fundamentally meaningless, and are acknowledging money is more subjective than objective? Doesn't that compromise its usage in society?
>>
>>62074724
What's the alternative?
>>
>>62074738
I think a system with isolated, category based, currency would work best. Oil companies would operate with an internal oil coin. Silicone Valley with a SV coin. Farmers with a farm coin. You can still reintroduce a universal currency, but now it's fully detached and floating on the aggregate value of all labor. Also when this universal currency has issues, the underlying oil tokens will be completely unaffected.

This system could also be improved by having companies have rigid and generous benefit plans for stock ownership, almost an allocation. Own 100 stocks get a free 10 gallons of gas a month.
>>
>>62074755
It's an interesting concept, as I do think labor is the key driving aspect of all humanity and it needs to be promoted far more than it is today. I don't have much more to add or detract here though.

Checked.
The situation basically amounts to RC obviously setting up to expand his expertise in online retailing. GME has even changed the wording on their quarterly filings that they plan to engage in M&A. RC showed some interest in Buy Buy Baby and a quite astounding CH11 has been unfolding which is right in line with RC and the short-thesis at large. There is some very suspicious seething that occurs around any discussion of GME in a broader sense. Short selling as a whole appears to be off limits. The silo-Nigs will scream and howl like banshees once you even so much as opine about anything other than GME and GME only. They don't even talk about GME. They just show up to contain what you talk about. It's really interesting. Just walk in here and ask about the CUSIP Conundrum which is so OBVIOUSLY a glaring hint what is happening. You'll have 2-3 seethies pulling their hair out.

In the BBBYQ thread? Are you sure?
>>
Expanding on my previous money philosophy discussion.

Money isn't quite labor because each piece of money was earned with a different kind of labor. This is a huge flaw in the concept of money. Time is the unifying factor? What a lame definition.

Previously I compared different fields and it's true. A gold planners labor has no inherent relationship to a stock trader, yet both are paid in the same dollars. There is no equivalence in work, but it's "equal" according to the metaphysical concept of math. Wait until you tell atheists it takes faith to believe in math...

This also causes another flaw. Very laborious, diry, jobs are often the lowest paid. If trash men keep cities free of garbage, why are they paid less than managers who don't keep streets clean? Why do people not performing the labor get to steal the value of the labor? This isn't arguing against capitalism, it's arguing against money. The problem and obfuscation happens with a universal currency that LIES to you about value.

I do think money is useful. It's excellent at organizing labor. It also has systemic drawbacks.

Going back to the earlier idea of asset category based tokens to structure industry around, I think it's the only safe way to compartmentalize an economy. By design it prevents systemic contagion. If 100%, of the oil industry disappears overnight, it will cause problems, but it prevents those problems from attacking the currency its self. This segregation also naturally prevents systemic issues like naked short sellers. If an entire economic category goes away, by destruction or obsolesence, people have a direct choice in what industries to support.

If oil goes away then people will buy mining stocks that give benefits. If people need computers they will buy Intel stock which gives purchase discounts and rewards for holding. At the same time money is being compartmentalized and limited, the benefits of labor need to be directly shared with company owners, aka shareholders.
>>
When moass happens I am going to fuck the blood pressure machine cuff at my local walmart. Ive been eyeing it for 20 years
>>
How is time the measure of labor in our economy? It's a fundamental flaw. Me being able to automate the labor of others is valuable, but I can also lie and say I'm working when I'm not. Now I'm earning less per unit of effort, and my employer is paying less than the labor he is purchasing. This is the opposite of the chicken/milk trade. Instead of us both profiting, both are losing money. The bullshit concept of math claims they are equal though...

The 8 hour workday is certainly an issue. Designed around factory work. Now even leisurely office workers have a factory workers schedule for no reason. Compulsory state education was invented by the Rothschilds, to train children to be good factory workers. It doesn't teach you anything.

Last night I was thinking. The definition of money is greed. If I don't need to sell my car then it's worth $0. If I'm greedy for a hole dug, I still need the $10 to pay you. If you are greedy for it filled, you still need the $10 to pay me. You need money to adjust the value of labor, but at the end of thr day it's a zero sum game.

The fundamental, practical application of money is greed, and paying someone else to do the work. I need the greed of wanting something and also the money to purchase it. It reminds me of the concept of Rothschild invented "economic induction." From the book "silent weapons for quiet wars. I don't think their conclusions are the same as mine. They are obviously thieving jews.. I want the system to be efficient and resilient.
>>
I was also gonna talk about non laborious labor and ultimate greed. Heroin is the ultimate greed I guess? Stealing isn't labor it's hiring someone to obtain money. Gambling is also another stupid example of non laborious labor. On the more moral end is entertainment. Induced demand for recreational fiction. You think direct labor is the most efficient, but then we turn back around into modern wall st crime. The obfuscation of labor with money is a huge flaw in society. Compartmentalization is the only way forward.

>>62075887
Buy Walmart and close the store.
>>
>>62075887
Surely if you are truly greedy and want to fuck the blood pressure cuff st Walmart, you will pay any price? If the price is high enough buy the whole company. Probably cheaper to reach a deal with owners directly. That's economics and a real use of money!

What is the labor value of fucking a blood pressure cuff compared to people who don't want you to, backed by people who stock retail shelves? Economists may never know... (because money is bullshit)

At this point I give up. Invest in BBBY. Obviously theyre the REAL play. Larry Cheng was on the PPshow. Chapter 11 takes a long time so expect further delays. Have you heard of the CUSnIP conundrum? It means that your canceled stock wins! WGAMI! Trump himself has confirmed that we win!
>Screenshot provided
>>
>>62076038
Fuck you for posting that thumbnail. That being said, invest in BBBY you say? HOLY FUCK!!! Why didn't I think of that sooner?!?! I missed out on potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars by going all in GME this past half decade, all to learn that BBBY was the real play all along?!?!
>Larry Cheng was on the PPshow.
He was??? OH WOWEE!!!
>Chapter 11 takes a long time so expect further delays.
I only waited 5 years, I wouldn't mind waiting another 5 if it means I get to get in early on the real play this time!
>Have you heard of the CUSnIP conundrum?
Actually, now that you mentioned it, I haven't! Please tell me more!
>It means that your canceled stock wins!
Well, I only bought a few hundred dollars worth back in the day and sold it right after losing that money, so I don't see how that affects me at all in any way. Will still give you the benefit of the doubt though!!!
>WGAMI!

>Fuck off shill the only play is BBBYQ. Invest in towelstock and you will make it!!

BBBYQ?!? FUCK YEAH!!! I'm ready to finally start winning!!! I've finally seen the light.
LARRY CHENG WHEN ON THE PP SHOW!!!

IT'S ALL COMING TOGETHER!!!
Please my fren, please tell me where I can buy this BBBYQ so I can finally start winning please??? I can't find it on my Fidelity trading window for some reason.

>Buy Walmart and close the store.
What are the legal ramifications if someone does this? Like let's say Bezos wants people to shop at Amazon, so he offers to buy Walmart and for whatever reason Walmart sells out. Then Bezos just closes every single Walmart in the world and uses the land to build more warehouses. Can you legally do that or will there be some sort of system in place to prevent you from doing it?
>>
>>62076088
Walmart can't be bought out.
Because that would be a national security risk.
Walmarts are, unironically, entrances to DUMBS and bomb shelters.
>>
>>62076088
The main civilian mechanisms are normally focused on anti-monopoly. Amazon could probably "buy a Walmart location," but not a large part of the company.
>>62076097
Information classification is the foundation of the deep state. Patents can be confiscated for national security reasons, and it's a crime to discuss it or sue.
>>
>>62076088
>Can you legally do that or will there be some sort of system in place to prevent you from doing it?
Antitrust law. Walmart is already on thin ice with those laws because their big box stores vaporized most small town retail decades ago. Walmart also goes to great pains not to fund Amazon, they host their web stuff on Azure. A hostile takeover of Walmart by Amazon would be the easiest thing in the world for the federal government to block.
>>
>>62076100
>>62076127
So let's say it's not a hostile takeover then. A GME holder moasses and then buys walmart or enough shares of walmart for a majority. They take over as CEO. Can they just shut down the entire company and liquidate it for fun?
>>
>>62076148
Technically yes but after navigating through all the loopholes you still have to twist your own dick off before doing the deed
>Now you need to spend time and money fucking with legal code before pulling the trigger
>>
>>62076148
Probably not. Government probably won't let you intentionally shut down a major retailer like that. If you get 51% voting share control, buy out the other 49%, then yes you can.
>>
>>62076148
>Liquidate it
Who are you selling to? Will the buyers want the pieces at the price you're selling for? I mean, a fire sale on stock and real estate would amount to a massive subsidy for the American people as a whole, so good on you, but still.
Note that much of Wal-Mart's value is in its logistics expertise and supply chain, and the fact that they're integrated into a massive retail operation. It's worth more than the sum of its parts. I'm not sure how you'd go about selling the various purchase contracts (if that's even contractually possible).
It would be extremely funny to see someone try, though. "Ending private medical insurance as we know it," levels of funny.
>>
>>62076488
>Who are you selling to?
Gamestop.
>>

HOLY FUCK. NO FUCKING WAY BRO. This right here, is some fucking legendary investigative skill you've got right here, my man. How hasn't anyone noticed that yet??? It's amazing!!! LONG LIVE BBBY!!!
>>62076618
Heh. Jokes on you, buddy. That smart son of a bitch finally put the pieces of the puzzle together. Turns out, GME was the distraction stock all along, and Ryan's true and final plan is to finally make (former) BBBYQ shareholders whole again, and take them to the moon!!! Heh.
