How can people end up poor when it's this easy to be a multimillionaire?
>>62063213Post millions.
>>62063213whats the modern day nvidia? i need the next 100x now.
It’s not easy at all. If crypto and AI hadn’t boomed then the only thing pushing nvidia would be video games.
>>62063291i don't think you needed to predict aisince the 80s people were imagining a future with holograms and crazy digital displays alongside computers doing everything and the course of history might have tempered that dream a little but it hasn't erased it - computers were and are the futureso investing in them was and largely still is patently good senseright now things could be overvalued with the ai boom but tech is clearly not going away and becomes more integral to our lives every yearyou could be forgiven for betting on intel or amd or whoever instead of nvidia but really you should have been spread across them all at least somewhatwhat a shame i was 16 in 2015
>>62063213>duuude just hold 10000 dollaridoes for a decade in this specific stock
>>62063261Trump coin
>>62063515checked, based and truth pilled
>>62063465Survivor bias. You could apply this very same principle to the dotcom bubble. Your investment in Cisco would barely be profitable by now. Intel has also done so bad that it would have been easy to think that nvidia would do similarly. Now I don’t say it was impossible to see stuff like this coming, but it sure as hell wasn’t easy.
>>62063213If you spent 1000 dollars on Eth and sold the top you'd have millions If you bought $1000 of shib you'd be loaded too
True why didn't millennials invest in Nvidia and why didn't boomers invest in Apple? Gibs me a million dollars I'm better than old fart generations. Sincerely zoomer
>>62063213If the government printed more money everyone would be a millionaire.
>>62063534>please gibs me moneyYou can just break into some old fags home, or alternatively stalk and rob one and take his shit
>>62063561>CrimeNo, give me your money to invest. I definitely can outperform boomerllenials
>>62063213I'm sure there are some gamers somewhere who saw Nvidia's dominance in the 10s and possibly earlier and invested and beat all of the professional traders kekWhat clued me in was the way they were giving every researcher access to Nvidia GPUs in the late 10s and into the 20s and making sure CUDA would be the platform for a huge variety of research for all the top research universities and think tanks (and therefore beyond those). That's when I knew they had something. I had no idea it would be this successful though.
>>62063213>how can people end up poor if you just invested in the 90s with the equivalent of $100k todayHow are your shares of 3dfx doing?
>>620632132nd thread about this shit
>>62063584>boomerlenialsah you are GenX larper got it
if you had bought intel at the same time, you'd be down money
>>62063758Lots of slide and bait threads todaySomebody said something true around here again
>>62063213and if u invested 500 in bitcoin in 2010 you would have 40bn dollarswhats ur point nigger.
And in 1997 you would have been called a moron for investing in them instead of 3DFX, a company that ended up bankrupt five years later. You always make the right moves when looking in hindsight.
People born in the 1990s are in the worst of all worlds for investing because I was too young to do either of those things and too young to have significant capital or computer hardware to mine a fuckton of bitcoin without my mom getting mad.
>>62063213For years and years, NVidia was just a graphics card company for PC gamers. Investing a ton of money into video game graphics did not seem all that lucrative at the time
>>62063213Fucking survivorship bias You know how many companies fucking failed? And you think “hurr durr put it in this one stock for 3 decades” gonna work?
>>62065669You could say the same with that textile company Berkshire Hathaway
>>620632131999 i was drooling watching cartoons all day and 2015 i was in college and had like $100 to my name on a good day
