>Legitimate quantum threat to BTC from Google>Bitcoin price doesn't move at allThat's how you know it's bad. It's so bad that coiners are absolutely rejecting the reality of their situation. Literally rocking back and forth and saying everything is fine. You can see it all over X:>Well if this was true then everything would be destroyed, not just Bitcoin>If they hack Bitcoin, it would make it worthless, so therefore nobody would ever hack it>We'll just fix the protocol and migrate to it, ezpzAbsolute fucking copium lmao. So now they're just pretending everything is fine.
>>62064115shut up!!!
>>62064115Quantum computers don't exist.
>I can factor 21 therefore your coin is worthless
>>62064636>factoring integers in polynomial time instead of exponential isn't dangerous because it was only demonstrated on a small numberthis rocket only ran for a few seconds. it will never get us to space.
>>62064683Alchemists used to try to make gold. How did that work out?
>>62064115>It's so bad that coiners are absolutely rejecting the reality of their situation. Literally rocking back and forth and saying everything is fine.Or you're retarded and don't know anything about anything.
>>62064712>you're retarded and don't know anything about anything!!
>>62064723I'm shorting it because of the right reasons and will go long for the right reasons when the price reaches where I expect a real bounce. It has nothing to do with quantum clickbait that comes out. Only fools like you think something real is going on there.
>>62064723Yeah, you're definitely the smartest big boy crypto investor on the planet(Or, you're wrong)
>>62064741>all bitcoin "investors" behave just like meyou must be new and never seen the absolute waves of retard bitcoin investors overreacting to clickbait news that is 1/100th as consequential as what google announced. the odds of everyone suddenly becoming a cool and collected sophisticated investor and stoicly not reacting is 0.no, the waves of cryptobro retards are denying reality is what's happening. they haven't suddenly become dispassionate hedge fund managers. they're plugging their ears and hoping the existential threat goes away.>but I'm not doing that!good for you, you're marginally less retarded than your peers
>>62064777you're a complete dumbass, not worth interacting with. it must be hard to be you or with you.
>>62064777> getting spooked over threats that don't exist that have solutions, if the materializechecked
>>62064115>Bottom signal FUD deployed
>>62064786>you're not worth interacting with!!!>(You)extremely feminine behavior>>62064794>i didn't exist during covid and ftx, when retards panic crashed the marketlmao sweet summer child
>>62064115I find her very attractive.
>>62064815>trading on an opinion on /biz/bitcoin traders continue to prove their "sophistication"by all means, let me influence you to buy more
>>62064831Did Bitcoin go to zero or did it hit another all time high, almost doubling the previous ath?
>>62064858Retards panicked at non-existential-threat news and crashed, while retards are currently not panicking at existential-threat news. But you know that, and you're being willfully dense and pretending not to understand, it's ok.
>>62064868>not panicking at existential-threat newsbecause they know it isn't a threat
>>62064868You're the one pretending that everyone is a trader with low time preference who doesn't understand what they're invested in and trying to change the subject.Everyone isn't a moron who sells their assets every time someone comes up with new fud.
what a retarded post and retarded strawman.Bitcoin will adopt sphincs+ based schemes. These are the most conservative post-quantum schemes we have. They are already implemented on the liquid network as shrincs signatures. The security assumptions of bitcoin will go from sha256 + ecdsa to only sha256.Meanwhile the shitcoiners (the co-author of the paper works for the ethereum foundation) will need to adopt complex untested schemes to keep their pos consensus layer working. So yeah, bitcoin has a straightfoward path unlike pos chains. You want these larger signatures to be adopted now when the strongest QC don't even have 100 logical qubits? you're retarded.
>>62064882>they know it's not an existential threatYeah, that's why they're saying>If they hack Bitcoin, it would make it worthless, so therefore nobody would ever hack itImagine your defense being>The market can panic faster than the attacker can liquidate
>>62064917Do you use google chrome, anon?
>>62064917>11 likessincerely why are you combing the xeets of literal whos?
>>62064929>not enough likesdon't pretend that if i spent 5 more minutes to find one with x10 likes, it would convince you, you weasel
>>62064913POS stands for piece of shit for those wondering
I looked into this a year ago. BTC devs were already hundreds of messages deep into debating which encryption upgrade to use. Many of these were already being coded. It’ll be fine unless someone drops a zero-day quantum computer ten years ahead of schedule.
>>62064929why are you in every thread policing xitter likes? twerp
>google makes the first quantum computer>they're the only ones who have it>the only quantum computer on Earth>they randomly decide to use it to attack Bitcoin of all fucking thingsquantum FUD is for retarded brainlets only
>>62064777...Are you black?
